Process
• To create the characters I used the magic wand tool and the quick
selection tool to edit out any background that was unwanted. After that I
went into Photoshop and started experimenting around with different
scenery and I ended up creating a river in a forest, to create more foliage I
made small grass indentations to show it was dense. After completing the
scenery I added the characters to find how small they need to be, when
finding the correct size I scaled them down and added some extra colour
to them to make sure their outline still was easily visible. After having
characters and scenery done I made a small health bar H.U.D, I used this
to experiment with the styles and how any type of bar would work. Finally,
for the creation part of experiments I decided that I wanted some sort of
movement with the characters so I went into a separate Photoshop
document and started using the selection tool to move the swords and
hands around to make it look like they were either swinging the sword or
punching. To conclude my project I went into timeline and slowly moved
my characters around , using the punching and swinging animation I made
my completed experimental animation.

• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
Elements of the experiment will use would being the sword
swinging animation and the health bar style. When being told to
do the Ghost game my first thought was to do some sort of level
based game where you would fight through different rooms, this
was slightly changed as I progressed into where you would
search for the ghosts to save the town they’re ruining.
