Dear Parents,
Activities we will be doing in Preschool:
 Encouraging the children to listen to a variety of familiar sounds as
we play our sound recognition game. This is to help develop their
listening skills which are an essential for language development.
 Having a doctor’s surgery in our role play area as we continue to think
and learn about our bodies.
 Learning our rhyme of the week which is ‘Miss Molly had a dolly.’
Activities to do at home with your child:
 Make a point of listening out for sounds all around you and asking the
children to identify them e.g. bin lorries, birds singing, hoover etc.
 Keep singing nursery rhymes and keep reading books together.
Notices:
 Preschool finishes for half term on Friday 17th
February for one week.
We reopen as normal on Monday 27th
February.
