Dear Parents,
Activities we will be doing in Preschool:
 As we continue thinking about our bodies we will be encouraging the
children to draw pictures of themselves. We will also be using paper
plates to make faces and talk about whether we are feeling happy or
sad.
 Singing number rhymes and counting related items in our number
groups e.g. speckled frogs, little monkeys.
 Learning our rhyme of the week which is ‘Heads, shoulders, knees and
toes’.
Activities to do at home with your child:
 Count any objects at home. How many dolls are on their bed, how many
people sitting at the dinner table etc. All counting is good and can be
done wherever you are.
 Keep encouraging them to help put on their own coats, hats, shoes etc.
Notices:
 On Monday 6th
Feb preschool will be closed for a staff development
day.
 Please ensure that your child brings a clearly named, well stocked
changing bag to preschool every day.
