1. Preschool Year 2
Dear Parents,
5 -21 December
Activities we will be doing in Preschool
Rehearsals for the play are going well and the children are enjoying singing
their songs, doing their actions and saying their lines. It is lovely to see
their confidence grow as they stand on stage and act out their part. If you
have any problems finding outfits for your child please let us know.
The children have had great fun in the home corner peeling real sprouts
and carrots. This week we will continue to celebrate Christmas at home by
decorating the Christmas tree and writing cards. We will also concentrate
on the great joy of Christmas as we celebrate the birth of Jesus. The
children will go on a role play journey as they discover again how God’s
son came to be born on this earth.
Activities to do at home
Encourage your child to practise any lines they have and the songs they
are going to sing in the play.
Notices
You should all have a letter about the Christmas Nativity play. All adult
family members are welcome but please no siblings as any noise could
mean that another parent cannot hear their child’s line.
We finish Preschool on Wednesday December 21st. Please bring your child
to Preschool ready dressed in their costume at the usual time of 9.00 am.
You can then go into church ready for the play to start at 9.15am. The play
will last approximately 30 mins – you will then be responsible for your
children but we do invite you to stay for coffee and mince pies in the
Rainbow café straight after the play.
