Dear Parents,
Activities we will be doing in pre-school:
 Planting a sunflower seed to bring home and to grow as part of
our preschool competition. You will receive some information
when your child brings this home.
 Practising our drawing skills and trying to copy some shapes. We
will be doing this inside and outside using pencils, chalks,
paintbrushes and water.
 Listening to the story of The Three Little Pigs and having
associated activities to reinforce the story.
Activities to do at home with your child:
 Read the same story at home and encourage your child to join in
with the repeated refrains e.g. ‘I’ll huff and I’ll puff…’
 Take your child to the library and choose some different books
together. Books are great resources to encourage your child’s
language, imagination and many more skills.

 On Wednesday 25th
and Thursday 26th
May we will be having a
‘stay and play’ session at 3.15pm. Please note that we can only
accommodate one parent per child. You will be asked this week
to sign up for the session you would prefer to attend.
 Preschool closes on Friday 27th
May for one week’s half term
holiday. We return on Monday 6th
June.
