1. Summer Term 3rd
-13th
May
Dear Parents,
Activities we will be doing in pre-school:
This week we will be planting some seeds and talking about what
plants need to help them grow. We will also be planting flowers
outside to enhance our outdoor area and encourage language
from the children as we talk about the changes we see.
Doing counting activities and singing number rhyme to encourage
the children to use number names in the correct sequence.
Activities to do at home with your child:
Plant some seeds either in pots inside or directly into the soil in
the garden. Nasturtiums are always reliable and pretty hardy.
Alternatively plant some vegetables such as runner beans which
are also satisfying to watch as they get grow taller and taller.
Sing number rhymes. If you are unsure of ideas for these try
looking on ‘You Tube’ or ask your keyperson for suggestions.
Notices:
Please remember to name all your children’s clothes, particularly
coats and bags which we use regularly during sessions.
On Thursday 5th
May the church will be in use as a polling
station. This does not affect preschool and we will be open as
normal.
Please bring in any active kids vouchers you may have, if you have
been collecting them from Sainsbury’s.
