1. Spring term 5th
-16th
Jan 2015
Dear Parents,
Welcome back to the Spring term, we hope you all had a lovely Christmas. In pre-
school this half term we shall be thinking and talking about keeping ourselves
healthy. Our fruit of the week will be Satsumas.
Activities we will be doing in pre-school:
Encouraging independence skills as the children try to get their own coats
and hats on to play outside.
Talking about and naming fruit and vegetables in our group times and as we
play in our Greengrocer’s shop.
Singing our rhyme of the week which is ‘Row, row, row your boat’
Activities to do at home with your child:
Try to let your child put their coats on and off themselves when you are
going out and especially when they are coming to pre-school. We always
suggest that they put their hood on first and then find their sleeves.
Cut out pictures of fruit and vegetables from magazines and bring them to
school so that we can make some healthy food pictures.
Sing our rhyme of the week and maybe make up some verses of your own.
