Dear Parents,
We are continuing to talk about keeping our bodies healthy, we are also thinking
about those who help us stay healthy e.g. doctors, dentists, opticians.
Our fruit of the week will be pears.
Activities we will be doing in pre-school:
 Having a doctor’s role-play, encouraging the children to talk about their own
experiences and engage in imaginary play.
 Learning our new rhyme of the week which is ‘Miss Molly had a dolly’
 Playing a ‘sound lotto’ game, listening to and identifying different
environmental sounds.
Activities to do at home with your child:
 Please encourage your child to make or draw a picture of some healthy food
for our wall display. Thanks to those of you who already done so, also
thanks for the cutting out some pictures (we’d still like some more please).
 Take your child shopping to buy some pears and encourage them to eat
them.
 Sing our rhyme of the week.

 Please note that if your child has had Calpol they are not well enough to
