Working Title:
Colour Musick
Product’s Purpose:
By forming a feel and trend for industrial music and to communicate this lifestyle and experience to
the audience. It will be informative but also have elements of visual entertainment.
Genre:
A post-industrial music magazine
Content
Interlinking articles with specific braches of interactivity in the music scene. Focusing on limited
bands and their nature of recording and communicating their feelings towards the audience.
Homage to balance, a commemoration spread inside.
Audience:
Males in their twenties as the project would appeal to them because of the underground attitude
consistent in forms of media rebellion. Low income and status and Socially Conscious B a type
have given up and do not respond to mainstream messages and influence.
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Think about any offensive material you will include? Anti-propaganda messages about other bands
and content will not be included. Open verse and artist impersonation will be free and the audience
will interpret the music before reading the printed content. Formal language but relaxed and the
images will be tasteful.
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? Paid item needs a monetary value to purchase
and it will be solely print. It could be acquired through second hand means or third party viewing.
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? No, it intends to be open to all as I will not
include distasteful or offensive images or content.
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? By not including offensive material such as images
which could upset or distress. I will use caution with language and be respectful to the deceased
artist.
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? Yes, existing material will be
blended with new material as the artist exist and the images are of themselves. They will be
emerging in a final form that is new and not under copyright.
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement? Because the idea itself in brand-new and extending itself into new territory. There
are no magazines of this nature in release and it will be a concept that I have formulated.
