This podcast aims to entertain people ages 15+ by discussing upcoming and popular artists and songs. Each episode will feature conversations with guests about new music rising in popularity as well as current hits. The podcast seeks to appeal to type A personalities across all genders by providing information and perspectives on music. To avoid potential legal issues, the hosts will be careful about language that could offend artists and cut out songs that contain bad language. The discussion-based format and focus on criticism and review of music should differentiate it sufficiently from other existing podcasts.

The podcast is about music, which is where I will Discuss with a couple guests about upcoming
artists and new songs that are rising and the new popular songs.
What is your product about? Discuss what you would put in it (be specific). Does it have a story? If

Audience:
15+ because some of the type of music that will be playing during the podcast and I just think
people over 15 will be interested all genders can tune in and social state is Type A
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
Think about any offensive material you will include? Will have to be careful about language and try
not to offend any of the artists we talk about.
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it? No because, it will have no bad language in
apart from the songs we play which will be cut out.
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities? Nothing to do with religion or groups.
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone? When writing script look at what I’m saying and go
from there.
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs? No because it’s a podcast so it will
be a couple people talking about music and artists.
Will you product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement? I’ll make sure to leave links and try and ask for permission.
