Information: The primary target audience for my music magazine would use my magazine to
seek information and to learn about the artists that are features, especially to look at their style
and to have a similar style by using this certain of dressing style onto their personality that would
have been inspired by an R&B artist. This would mainly be aimed at the females, all from the age
of 17-24 years old.
Personal Identity: The females would use my magazine to link with personality and to use it as
part of their identity and who they are to he rest of their age group. They would use it so they
could read the articles and feel as if they know the artist that is featured on the magazine
personally by the use of informal language.
Social Interaction: My primary audience would use my magazine as a way to talk to new people
and to make comments about the magazine, share them thoughts and posts about the magazine
through the social media. Mentioning the magazine on social media would help the audience to
meet new people with same tastes coming from what’s found on the magazine.
Entertainment: My primary audience would use my music magazine as a way of discovering new
music coming from any type of genre from the R&B industry. They would use this as an

are included, from the big wide choice. This would help them to get information from the
magazine, the certain information they would be searching for on my magazine.
Personal Identity: The males would use my magazine as a way of searching for new music and
artist to listen from different methods and to start listening to it on a daily basis. This would be a
way of adding the use of new music into their personality and identity.
Social Interaction: My secondary audience would use my music magazine as a way of
communicating with people from the same age group that also read to my music magazine and to
communicate about it through the use of social media and different platforms.
Entertainment: As part of entertainment, my secondary audience, would use my magazine as a
way of discovering new music to listen, especially on the reviews and top charts page of the
magazine, where it would different types of R&B genres, that my secondary audience would want

This is Eva Gutowski, she is 22 and lives in the U.K. She has just recently finished her last university
year, where she studied textiles and music. She has just recently started to go to certain festivals that
had R&B artists playing along with many others. Her latest festival was to Coachella.
Eva loves listening to hip-hop and soul R&B music, as she listens on her daily basis. She would always
purchase an Vocals (V)music magazine to use it as part of her identity and to be part of her personality.
She would use the magazine to discover new music and artist but also to see the type of style the artist
has, as she thinks her looks Is one of the most important things to represent her personality.
She always purchase new albums to keep it on her collection and to have a hard copy of it besides of
just being able to listen it digitally. She intends to look at her favourite R&B artist, Kehlani style, and
intends to purchase the same outfit or similar, no matter the cost, as her style is key to present the style
of music as she believes the type of music you listen to, speaks a lot about your own style. She also
tends to go to concerts quite commonly, she usually goes to a concert more than eight times per year
and she claimed that she just started to go to festivals, as she loved her first festival experience and
she is thinking to go to festivals more often to discover more in the music genre R&B besides of hip-
hop or soul R&B.

This is Austin McBroom, his 22 years old and lives in America. He is a YouTuber, does YouTube videos
as a job, as he has his own YouTube channel, that he shares with his wife and baby girl. He has a
passion for sports, especially basketball. He spends time with his family, as he is a mainstreamer, he
loves R&B music, especially rap and old school R&B music. He attends to have specific tastes within
R&B as he is a reader to Vocals (V) music magazine, as he claims that is the best R&B music magazine
that he has subscribed as the magazine includes so much about R&B, especially about rap and old
school R&B.
Besides of reading Vocals magazine, he also reads Vibe music magazine, which is also a R&B music
per year magazine and he also attends to go to concerts maybe five times in a month. He always
spends money on new singles and albums from his favourite R&B artists. He also attends to be part of
the largest group so money is no problem, as he tries to keep up with the conventional material that he
finds on R&B music magazines, as he uses them as a ‘seek security’.
He is also aimed as a mainstreamer for not just listening to R&B but also different music as music as a
whole is aimed at all mainstreamers, everyone from the big group of human beings (facing the fact he
mainly listens to R&B as a whole. He love finding new music from the R&B industry as whole and finding
new artist that are within the R&B music industry and using in his daily basis.
