3. Research
• The strengths of my research was the specific subject range I wanted to
illustrate which made the pictures more bound; this helped the product
have a more intense development. I looked at relevant images and these
helped me with the formulae layout and composition of the text, images
and colour palette.
• The weakness was the possible lack of clarify of the images themselves.
The clarification would have in general made outlines more clear in the
final image. My idea and concept is niche to analyse as it is not a common
media product and this limited the research I could conduct.
4. Planning
• The strength of the planning was actually have the product have a more
defined perspective instead of a broad emotional brush; which helped me
reduce concepts and refine the solid ones.
• I kept to my layout plans and this saved time and was effective during my
execution of detail.
• I had intended to take my own images however due to time constraints
this did not happen.
5. Time Management
• Time was an issue due to me taking too long on certain task finding
images and the like. My product would have certainly improved as I would
have been more connected with the idea itself if I had additional time
which would produce most definitely a more refined layout.
• I would have preferred original images but editing them will have also
delayed the process.

Darker colours

7. Aesthetic Qualities
The qualities is its solid scheme in
now “filling” itself with attractive
contexts, its rather the aura it draws.
The weakness is the less refined ratios in line
with the pictures and such. It waters down the
dramatic elements.
Text stands out as boxes highlight and
emphasise
Large high quality image - desirable
Informative and well positioned –
easy to direct eye and take in .
8. Audience Appeal
Mature Males who indulge in this genre and want to expose more ideas to themselves
through written word over audio. This fulfils their needs and had adequate detail and
visual interest. The experimentalism in subject matter and the solid impact of the
interview itself appeals to the audience due to its profundity.. It is clearly less focused on
the commercial value which the survey results indicated in wanting something more
serious and less “flashy.”
10. Feedback 1
• What did you like about the product?
– The short excerpt on the interview gave me
something to fathom.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
• More in depth and “fulfilling” in colours.
11. Feedback 2
• What did you like about the product?
- The images were impactful and not just a “mere”
addition.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
• - The information provided by the interview
itself.
12. Feedback 3
• What did you like about the product?
– The Colours in the atmosphere they promoted.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
• The fonts themselves should have been more
drastic.
13. Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback?
• That the excerpt gave the reader an intresting
perspective.
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback?
• That the colours should have been more “in
depth2 this forgets that the colours are in line
with the article contents and the like.
14. Peer Feedback Summary
The fonts should have been more “out-there” and
not so basic, as the title really should have hit the
reader because that it what primarily attracts him
to such an ethos of a magazine.
