Rationale:
I have become more familiar with photoshop and procreate, I have developed a lot of skills which I
intend to use for my FMP. For the adventure project, I made various products using photoshop
which I thoroughly enjoyed and feel I would be able to use the skills I learned to produce my FMP
as I love the way my photoshop work turned out for my adventure project. While creating my
Adventure project, I learned a lot of photoshop skills such as creating a gradient layer, blending
layers and cutting images out of a photo, which I feel will be very useful for my FMP as I intend for
my project to have blended layers for dramatic effect.
Project Concept:
I intend to create a series of marketing materials for a film concept involving pop figures. For this I
would like to produce a series of film posters, involving the different characters, using a similar
layout but featuring each different character, to give the audience an idea of what the film holds.
I would also like to create a billboard cover, as this is popular in the current day and I feel this
would widen my skills in order to produce my best work.
I will need to research film marketing for film ideas like my intended products, in order to be able to
understand what usually goes into the marketing and how I can make my work similar yet unique.
I will also research different types of marketing and which is most effective to an audience, in order
to make my work highly effective and unique.
Furthermore, I will read through various synopses for previous films, so that I can familiarize
myself with what is included in a synopsis for a film to influence my synopsis.
How the project will be evaluated and reviewed:
To evaluate my project, I intend to create a production log to record what I have been doing each
session.
When my product is complete, I will reflect on each part of my project and discuss the pros and
cons of my work, this will help develop my work as I will be able to set myself self-improvement
targets.
I will also compare my work to existing products and discuss the similarities and differences.
