Rationale:
In this project, I will be mostly applying skill in Photoshop that I have learned throughout the year.
For my previous project, I created a marketing package for an adventure film concept. During that
project I produced a logo, posters and a video game animation using Photoshop. My previous
project will help me with my FMP because I have practice creating a marketing package.
Project Concept:
For my FMP, I am going to be creating a marketing/promotional package for an original film
concept. I chose my concept to be a superhero film called 'The Sorceress'. For this package I will
be making a variation of promotional posters/adverts, logo designs, merchandise, etc. I will need to
conduct a variety of research. I will mostly be looking at other marketing packages made for this
genre as well as researching colour schemes and how these packages are made for their target
audience.
How will the project be evaluated and reviewed?
To evaluate my work, I will be making a production log/ diary throughout the project to make sure I
am always reflecting on my work. I will also evaluate and analyse each product I make towards the
end of the project. I will also get peer feedback from friends and family to get an outside opinion on
my project.
