Starting from any point, draw four continuous lines (without lifting the pen) so that each of the nine dots has at least one line running through it.
Most of us knew this from earlier trainers…
The Connect…Connect all dots using one single line!!!

MENTAL BLOCK # 1The right answer.
"Describe how to determine the height of a skyscraper with a barometer."
AnswersYou tie a long piece of string to the neck of the barometer, then lower the barometer from the roof of the skyscraper to the ground. The length of the string plus the length of the barometer will equal the height of the building." Answer too or 2First, you could take the barometer up to the roof of the skyscraper, drop it over the edge, and measure the time it takes to reach the ground. The height of the building can then be worked out from the formula H = 0.5gt2. But bad luck on the barometer.
Answer too or 3Or if the sun is shining you could measure the height of the barometer, then set it on end and measure the length of its shadow. Then you measure the length of the skyscraper's shadow, and thereafter it is a simple matter of proportional arithmetic to work out the height of the skyscraper.
Answer too or 4But if you wanted to be highly scientific about it, you could tie a short piece of string to the barometer and swing it like a pendulum, first at ground level and then on the roof of the skyscraper. The height is worked out by the difference in the gravitational restoring force T = 2π√(l / g).
Correct answer? If you merely wanted to be boring and orthodox about it, of course, you could use the barometer to measure the air pressure on the roof of the skyscraper and on the ground, and convert the difference in millibars into feet to give the height of the building
MENTAL BLOCK # 2That’s not logical.

The creative Problem Solving ProcessStep 1: State what seems to be the problem. The real problems may not surface till all the facts have been gathered.
Step 2: The “Ws”WhatWhereWhenWhy

HowStep 3: Restate the problemThe dimensions may change after step 2 and problem may seem different than Step 1
Step 4: Alternatives???Generate as many ideas as possible till maximum choices are exhausted
Step 5: EvaluateWhich is better? What are the risks? What are the savings?Any side effects?
Step6 : Implement & Evaluate resultsHow, when, where?Revisions

Have a look at the picture below. It shows a person holding a block of wood. Now, what will happen to the piece of wood when the person lets go of it?
Closing notes…“When in doubt, make a fool of yourself. There is a microscopically thin line between being brilliantly creative and acting like the most gigantic idiot on earth. So what the hell, leap.”
