DEFINITION OF DIGITAL TEXTS.
• Digital text can be call E-text, ‘’E’’ stand
for electronic. E-text is a general term
for any document that is read in digital
form, and especially a document that is
mainly text.

ANALOGUE HARDWARE
• Analogue is a physical thing that you
can touch and feel.
• Analogue device is usually a
combination of both analogue
machine and analogue media that
can together measure, record,
reproduce, or broadcast continuous
information.

DIGITAL SOFTWARE
• Digital software is something virtual
that you can’t touch and feel. Digital
describes electronic technology. It
can be classed as software. To access
to digital software you need a
hardware device. Examples of digital
software are social media, apps,
browsers, video games etc.
E-MAGAZINES
• E-magazines are electronic magazine that
works only with a hardware device like
smartphone, tables etc. The different
between the normal magazine and the e-
magazine is that on e-magazine is more
useful then the normal ones because with
e-magazine you can zoom, you can read
any magazines you want. Another good
thing about e-magazines that you can
read magazines for free. Examples of e-
magazines are The Future, Forbes, Time,
Black and White in Colour.
E-BOOKS
• E-books are electronic books that
work only with a hardware device like
smartphone, tablet etc. Now e-books
are becoming popular because they
can be carry very easy and in one
tablet you can have thousands of
books. If you have normal books you
can’t carry more then three books.
Examples of e-books: War Horse, The
Fault in Our Stars, Before I Go to
Sleep, Harry Potter.
E-NEWSPAPERS
• E-newspaper is a digital newspaper that work
only with a hardware device. E-newspaper are
easy to use because you can just go to
internet to read, then to go to buy it. Usually
e-newspaper are read by the people. It’s easy
to use an e-newspaper then a normal
newspaper because in the e-newspaper you
can zoom and read how many newspaper you
want but you can’t to in the normal
newspaper. Examples of Hindistan Times, The
Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Mail,
The Guardian etc.
DIGITAL COMICS
• Digital comics are electronic comics that
works only with a hardware device. The
different between the digital comic and
the normal comics is that in one device
you can have like thousands of comics,
another good things about the digital
comics is that you can zoom and you
can read easy. Digital comics are popular
because a lot of teenagers read comics.
Examples of comics are Marvel comics,
DC comics etc.
SMARTPHONE
• A smartphone is a mobile phone with a
smarter operating system. Smartphone
is a hardware device that you can access
to digital text like e-books, digital
comics, e-newspaper and e-magazines.
The most popular smartphone brand
are IPhone 7 and Samsung Galaxy S7
Edge.
COMPUTER
• Computers are hardware device. It
has the ability to store, retrieve, and
process data. You probably already
know that you can use a computer to
type documents, send email, play
games, and browse the Web. With a
computer you can access to every
digital text for examples e-
magazines, e-newspaper, e-manuals
etc. The most popular computers are
Apple Mac, Acer laptop etc.
E-READER
• An e-reader, also called an e-book
reader or e-book device, is a mobile
electronic device that is designed
for the purpose of reading digital e-
books and periodicals in other
words E-reader is like a tablet but
you only read books. Some e-
readers are Kindle, Kobo, Nook.
GAMES CONSOLE
• A video game console is an
electronic, digital or computer device
that outputs a video signal or visual
image to display a video game that
one or more people can play. In
games consoles you can access
digital manuals. Examples of consoles
are SONT PlayStation 4 and Microsoft
Xbox One.
ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES OF DIGITAL VS.
