Step One: Download and save the Word writable document called
"Year 10 into 11 2025 SET Plan Form".
Step Two: Parent/Carers and student are to digitally complete
Section One of the form using the dropdown lists and answering all
the questions including information about 3 preferred courses. The
QTAC website provides the information regarding your preferred
courses. You will need to access your Semester One report in IGLOO
IGLOO in order to complete Section One.
Step Three: Student to upload to a task submission point in Year 10
SET Planning in the Graduates of 2026 page by Thursday 20 June
9am.

You will attend (with your parent/guardian) the Yr10 & Yr11 2023 Subject Selection
Evening Tuesday 11th June 6:15pm โ 7:30pm San Damiano Centre
You will complete the SET plan form
You will send this to your assigned mentor for review
Term 3, Week 1:
You will attend a meeting with your parents and the mentor. You will discuss the

31. Exam Block โ Protocols for Year 10 Students
During Exam Block Year 10 students may work from home unless they have a
scheduled examination or ongoing work requirements in Applied and Certificate
classes. Where an exam clashes with an Applied or Certificate class (at or outside the
College), students must attend the examination.
Additional expectations of students are outlined below:
โข Attendance on campus in full school uniform
โข Attendance at examination room with appropriate equipment no later than 15
minutes prior to the scheduled start time with appropriate equipment- see approved
equipment list for exams on MyMtA.
โข Students may not leave the College in between examinations scheduled on the
same day
โข Students with one examination scheduled in a day must go directly home for study
purposes
32. Exam Block โ Protocols for Year 10 โ Year 12 Students
โข Students not able to work from home, may work from the iCentre and must sign in
and out.
โข In keeping with protocols for Senior schooling, students who are not able to attend
examinations due to ill health, are asked to submit a medical certificate as evidence of
their incapacitation, and parents are asked to make direct contact with the Dean of
Senior Years, Ms Mansfield (mansk@staff.mta.qld.edu.au)
โข Students are asked to comply with all requirements outlined in the Assessment
Policy, Academic Integrity Policy and Examination Script (read to students at the
commencement of each examination)
โข AARA students must check their AARA card for their exam accommodations and
attend the correct room. Any questions about AARA should be sent to
les@mta.qld.edu.au.
33. โข Taking time off for the purposes of study prior to the examination block is not
permitted. Students must be in attendance for all classes unless they have a
medical reason not to be.
โข Students who have not submitted assignments by the due date will lose
examination privileges.
Please Note: The College will endeavour to reschedule examinations for students
who are incapacitated on the day of an examination.
