This document introduces different research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative research. Qualitative research collects non-numerical data through open-ended questions in interviews and focus groups to understand participants' perspectives. Quantitative research deals with measurable and numerical data to investigate relationships between variables and answer questions. Some common methods of qualitative research include interviews, focus groups, ethnographic research and case studies, while common quantitative methods involve surveys, descriptive research, and correlational research.
