6. Peer Feedback Summary
After collecting my peer feedback I was very happy to see my design concepts was
taken the way I wanted it to be. The large use of colour had the creative affect that I
planned it too without my pages being cluttered. As well as my photography, the
quality of images was very important due to the magazine types being
'fashion/photography'. I wanted the images to be striking and eye catching and from
my peer feedback I believe I succeeded with this intent.
I received mixed reviews on my advertisements and also the idea of my magazine
having continuity. I do take the point on my adverts being a little plain, but I stand
behind my decisions as I did want the focal being the image and when I looked at
existing advertisements, there was rarely more text than the brand name/logo.
I would of liked more variety in models but I do believe I had a good variety for the
amount of content I had. One person said my magazine could do with more content,
and I do agree but due to a time limit I chose to go for quality rather than quantity.
