Planning
Emily Grace Porter
Technical
I plan to use 2 cameras in the process of production, a Nikon 3400d and a Leica
Sofort polaroid camera. With my nikon caemra I have overa year experimce with
handling this camera, I am confident with the features and don't think I'll have any
issues when taking pictures with this camera. Where I belive there will be a
problem will be using my leica camera, as ive only owned this model for 5 months
and I'll still learning the features and lighting effects. To get over an issues with
lightingon some images I've pracised in my experiments using lightroom, to
brighten and define photographes to be more visually clear.
Nikon 3400d Leica sofort polaroid camera
Shoot 1
Location: Easingwold – Millfield woods
Models: Robyn Noble, Emily Grace Jenkins, Elle Slater, Charlie Scarce, Aaron Reynolds.
This shoot I have planned will be based in the woods in Millfield and the idea is to get some
group shots of socialization amongst generation Z. I plan on using my Leica Polaroid for this
woods shoot. I also intend to get some black and white polaroid portraits images. I dressed
everyone in colorful cool clothes so that the colours pop on polaroid coloured images. I'll
also have the girls in natural hair and makeup to represent it’s a natural setting and to go
side by side with the documentary style photography. I wanted to aesthetic to be a group of
friends chilling out. The idea behind it is the fact that growing up in small country side towns
can be seen as boring and with not much to do and therefore growing up me and my friends
would go chill in the woods and make a fire and sit and chat for hours. I also love the look of
trees and landscapes in an image so will use the trees and location to my advantage I plan
on having my portraits polaroid's all in the same area with the same background (trees), I
have also ordered some black and white film, therefore I can have a range of of coloured
and black and white images.
Shoot 2
Location: Easingwold – My bedroom
Models: Emily Grace Jenkins
I've planned to meet with Emily after we both finish work on Tuesday. She traveling down
form Harragott and staying at my house for a couple of hours. I didn’t have much planned
other than I'd observe Emily who would just be getting ready and relaxing in what appeared
to be her room. This was the only shoot where I couldn't plan to have my models in their own
surroundings. Do to where Emily is located and with work shedauls it wasn't possible. I've
planned to dress Emily in baggy, comfy clothing, which I think is approtraite beause I want to
protay emily as she's in her room relaxing. I've also planned to keep her hair and make up
very natural, a style which I'll be keeping through my magazine. I'll be maing using my nikon
camera but I will take a couple of polaroid images, I'm using this shoot to get th emajority of
none polaroid images. I will be spendng the majority of the shoot taking nikon camera
images to represent the core theme of the magazine is photography and that polaroid
photography is this certain issues feature.
Shoot 3
Location: York, KFC - Clifton Moor
Models: Robyn Noble, Charlie Scarce and Aaron Reynolds.
One thing that me and my friends like to do on evening that we're all free but also
don't have a lot of money to spend, is to go to a fast food restaurant. I want to
document one of these trips for a double page spread, as I want a few double
page spreads to represents how generation Z spend their spare time and
evenings. I will use my Leica polaroid camera and also use the coloured instax
film. I want to make sure I document the entire journey, from car journey to eating
to then driving home. I wouldn’t be planning clothing or anything like that as I
would just be observing and taking image sin documentary style and this also
means I won't give any direction whilst shooting.
Shoot 4
Location: York College
Models: Art / Music / Media Students of York college
With this shoot I don't have any other plans than to take my polaroid camera and
40x coloured instax film into college, everyday for a full week. College is an
experience that all teenagers go through after finshing school and GSCE's, it’s
the first step for teenagers to making their own decisions in terms of their future.
It’s a big change from spending 5 years at high school, college offers more
freedom and tennagers transistion to the 18 and over period which opens so
many aspects of adulthood for young people. I wanted to capture students in an
educational setting but still socialing and interacting between eachother. On my
breaks sometimes me and my friend who is in the same class as me, Emma, like
to socialise with a few friends on different courses. Therefore I hope to have a few
different faces and to capture some quirky angles and perspectives of students at
college.
Shoot 5
Location: Field in Easingwold
Models: Robyn Noble and Emily Grace Porter
During the period of your life when your between the ages of 18-21 years old, friendship is very
crucial and imporatant when going through postive and negative experinces. I'm lucky to be in the
position were my best friend is around me all the time due to us living together. Even though our
sheduals don’t guve us a lot of days to spend together shes always there for me and im always there
for her. I wanted to represent how much friendship means to people in Generation Z, our genaration
are the most social genartion, weve never not know to have no contact with whoever we want and
whenever we want. This has made friendships become more instense for impactful on an individuals
life. On one of the rare days robyn and I had a day off, I've planned a daytrip with robyn to go for a
pincin in a local field in easinwgold, something we like to do when its nice weather and we don’t have
any money. We'll bring her boyfrined charlie to take the polaroid imgaes of us both but I'll be taking
the indivdual photos of robyn. I plan to have this double page green and illustarted with drawning that
represent nature as I plan to shoot in a green field and want to the design to link with the polaroid
images.
Shoot 6
Location: Nathan's House – Rawcliffe (York)
Model(s): Nathan Riley
I want a range of different personalities and also different looks in my magazine, all within
generation Z. I've planned to spend a couple f ours round at my close friends house, nathan Riley
to observe and take a few polaroid images of him. I want to represent nathan as a cheeky,
homebird, young lad who lives in his dressing gown. A note ive give myself for this shoot is to be
aware of the models compostion in individiual shoots. Due to the struture of my magazine, and
having introduction pages to characters within the generation which are surrounded double page
spreads including them characters, I don’t want all the introduction pages having the same style
images. I want to make sure I have fun and new angles throughout my magaizne to keep the
reader interated and to keep the magazine inetersting.
Shoot 7 & 8
Location: Easingwold
Model(s): Charlie Scarce and Robyn Noble
With this shoot I thought about what I could add to the image to get a different effect than ive had in
previous shoots. I've ordered 10 sparklers off amazon and planned with Charlie and robyn to a shoot
on an evening to get some polaroid with sparklers. On the same evening I planned shoot 8 as I didn’t
think the sparklers shoot would take to long due to the un knowing effect the sparklers will make I
didn’t want to waste too much time on them. Charlie will be the focus of of both shoots as I want to
gather images for his introduction page and the feauting double page spread. Charlies shoot was
focused on him in his car due to his obbsession with his car and cars in general. But since ive
ordered 10 sparklers to get the shots of charlie and robyn with the sparklers on the same evening as
I don’t think this shoot will take us as much time. Charlies personality is shy and introverted yet
caring and loving and wanted to try and capture all these aspects of his peronality along with his
strong interest in cars.
Shoot 9 & 10
Location: Tom's House (Easingwold)
Model(s): Tom Porter and Jake Wright
I didn't necessarily have a shoot planned but I've asked my bother, Tom and his friend Jake, both
aged 18 years old, if I can take a few polaroid photos of them one day after school. As a 20 year
old, most of my peers are between the ages of 19 and 21, and I wanted to feature the whole range
between 18-21. Luckily, my brother, tom, is 18 years old and so is his best friend Jake. Both boys
are highly interested in games and woukd consider themselves "gamers," they love: xbox,
playstation, pc games, etc. This interest of Tom's is something I know little about but realise is a
huge culture within our generation, I also realised without my brother I wouldn't really be around this
culture as its not an interest of mine but I was not interested in whole culture of it, the constant
communication and addiction to winning and being the best. I planned with tom, for one evening to
sit and observe his in his room playing his games whilst on the headset to his friends who will also
be playing the same games. It's very important for me to be able to reach my aim, to feature
different personalities within one generation (generation Z) having a 'gamer,' in my magazine
features a huge group that will attarct an audience with of that group, finding the realtable side and
for those like me who don't play games, might find an interest as I did.
Layouts
I want to keep my layouts clean but without too much empty space, to do this I have the idea to add
hand drawn illustrations that fit the page and the themes of the page. Therefore this goes side by
side with my hand written text and keeping my project cohesion throughout. I like the idea of layering
images and having writing on top of images but with all that going on not letting it get too messy. I'm
going to have the polaroid image kept separate from the Nikon images, but I'll embed them
throughout my magazine. I've decided to not keep the other affects from my production experiments
apart from the polaroid imagery and also the hand written scanned elements. I made this decision so
that my magazine have a consistent style throughout and so that the reader wont be confused with
the themes and style, I felt added different image affects would take focus of the polaroid and also
the representations that I'm trying to portray. After having ideas on layout I decided to make rough,
basic drafts of layouts.
Context Pages
With my magazine being a photography, I don't want pages and pages of writing but I also think it will
benefit the readers understanding of the magazine by adding a few context pages. These context
pages would inform the reader about the magazine and also about the theme of the particular
issue/edition. During planning, I drafted basic layouts to figure out the structure of my magazone, I has
to decide wether to keep cpntextual informtion all together or split the information up. I drafted the
different versions layouts and decided to keep the two different pieces of information separate from
eachother. I believe it not only visually looks better but also makes for a clearer layout for the reader
because the two main and most important pieces of information aren't put together but separate,
demanding their own attention. I also considered the idea of my magazine being a monthly produced
and published magazine, with the thought of more editions, I pictured the structure of each edition and
felt keeping to one structure would keep it cohesive mo matter how different the themes of each
edition might be. It also makes it a lot easier for readers as having a structure youre aware of what
you're being informed where and when leaving no confusion. I decided that the first page would be an
introduction page to my magaine, letting the reader know the core representations (generation Z) of
the magazine, the the other editions in mind this page would never change the information, only the
Image would change. Then id have a striking image covering a double paged spread to break up the
pages of information. After the striking image there will be another double paged spread describing
and informing the reader about the theme of the issue depending on the edition, with the edition I am
producing being 'instax' photography. After I was happy with the structure of these pages, I deceided
to embed two more contextul pages through my magaizne that represent the voice of generation Z.
these pages would be an opinion from the mind set of generation Z and would go side by side with a
relatable poalroid to bring in the theme of the particular magazine.
Colour schemes
I'll keep the colour palette very one because I feel I can due to the theme of instax photography. The
design elements, as long as they work with the polaroid effect, I am able to play around with multiple
different colours. In essence I will give every section of my magazine an indivdual background colour.
I will make sure each colour works with the one previous and the one following and will work with the
images and illustrations organised on the page. For example I'll keep Robyn around the colour green
as I plan on mainly shooting her outdoors in a nature setting. I plan to arrange my polaroid's through
individuals and shoots, I want to keep images that are of the same shoot together to create a setting
and a theme for the particular page. To get my colour scheme I plan to pull a distinct colour from a
selection of polaroid's and adapt the colour to fitting all the images I've chosen for that page. To
experiment with this, I've take some random polaroid images online and created some examples of
how I'd create a page colour from the images I have. I'll continue this process on every page, making
sure the same tone is used on each colour to secure cohesivity but I want a range of colours to give
each page its own identity that fits the images on that page.
The colour scheme for my cover I know will be purely the image colours, I want a sunset with an
aspect of the image having connotations towards youth and hope. Therfore I feel a simple peace sign
would be perfect, I plan to have the cover as a sunset with a hand reaching up with a peace sign. the
masthead and added text will have the font 'courier new' and the masthead will be white and the
added text will be black, so that it doesn't clash with the image.
I gathered random plaids from the
internet to explore how I'd create a
colour scheme through my
images. I pulled one colour that is
featured in most of the poalorids
and made the tine fit to what I
believed was a balanced tone that
didn't gather to much attentio on
itself as I wanted to images to be
the main focal point. I also wanted
to make sure that each page
would have the same colour tone
therefore I coloetheed two of
these examples to get an idea of
matching colours together without
being too similar. Allowing the time
for this process in planning should
make construction of my
magazine in production, quicker
and easier because I'm following a
pattern that I've planned and tried
Single page example Double page spread example
Models
I plan on using a fair few models in my magazine but some models will just be featured
due to the documentary photography side of my magazine but the main models and their
ages, who are focal and involved in the set up photoshoots are listed below:
Robyn Noble (19)
Emily Jenkins (20)
Emma Garthwaite (19)
Elle Slater (20)
Emily Grace Porter (20)
Charlie Scarce (19)
Aaron Reynolds (19)
Nathan Riley (21)
Tom Porter (18)
Jake Wright (18)
Text
With the personal touches of my magazine I will feature
hand written text, will bring all the personal touches
together. I have the idea of having the majority of writing
as hand written and scanned, this means all names and
quotes I'll personally write. With the masthead on my
cover and also for the contextual pages throughout my
magazine I've picked the font 'Courier New,' this font I
feel works well with my hand writing and also fits with
the styles and themes I've planned throughout my
magazine. These decisions came from my production
experiment on text, the hand writing affects, I think is
has a unique affect and with my magazine being a niche
marketed magazine, I feel I have the accessibility to
more open design features rather than the normal codes
and convention of a standard magazine. As part of my
planning ive made some exampled of text/font that I
plan to use and also some exampled of my written text
that I want to include. I want to make sure I get the celar
visual effect from the text that I want tehrefore ive written

Planning

  • 2. Technical I plan to use 2 cameras in the process of production, a Nikon 3400d and a Leica Sofort polaroid camera. With my nikon caemra I have overa year experimce with handling this camera, I am confident with the features and don't think I'll have any issues when taking pictures with this camera. Where I belive there will be a problem will be using my leica camera, as ive only owned this model for 5 months and I'll still learning the features and lighting effects. To get over an issues with lightingon some images I've pracised in my experiments using lightroom, to brighten and define photographes to be more visually clear. Nikon 3400d Leica sofort polaroid camera
  • 3. Shoot 1 Location: Easingwold – Millfield woods Models: Robyn Noble, Emily Grace Jenkins, Elle Slater, Charlie Scarce, Aaron Reynolds. This shoot I have planned will be based in the woods in Millfield and the idea is to get some group shots of socialization amongst generation Z. I plan on using my Leica Polaroid for this woods shoot. I also intend to get some black and white polaroid portraits images. I dressed everyone in colorful cool clothes so that the colours pop on polaroid coloured images. I'll also have the girls in natural hair and makeup to represent it’s a natural setting and to go side by side with the documentary style photography. I wanted to aesthetic to be a group of friends chilling out. The idea behind it is the fact that growing up in small country side towns can be seen as boring and with not much to do and therefore growing up me and my friends would go chill in the woods and make a fire and sit and chat for hours. I also love the look of trees and landscapes in an image so will use the trees and location to my advantage I plan on having my portraits polaroid's all in the same area with the same background (trees), I have also ordered some black and white film, therefore I can have a range of of coloured and black and white images.
  • 4. Shoot 2 Location: Easingwold – My bedroom Models: Emily Grace Jenkins I've planned to meet with Emily after we both finish work on Tuesday. She traveling down form Harragott and staying at my house for a couple of hours. I didn’t have much planned other than I'd observe Emily who would just be getting ready and relaxing in what appeared to be her room. This was the only shoot where I couldn't plan to have my models in their own surroundings. Do to where Emily is located and with work shedauls it wasn't possible. I've planned to dress Emily in baggy, comfy clothing, which I think is approtraite beause I want to protay emily as she's in her room relaxing. I've also planned to keep her hair and make up very natural, a style which I'll be keeping through my magazine. I'll be maing using my nikon camera but I will take a couple of polaroid images, I'm using this shoot to get th emajority of none polaroid images. I will be spendng the majority of the shoot taking nikon camera images to represent the core theme of the magazine is photography and that polaroid photography is this certain issues feature.
  • 5. Shoot 3 Location: York, KFC - Clifton Moor Models: Robyn Noble, Charlie Scarce and Aaron Reynolds. One thing that me and my friends like to do on evening that we're all free but also don't have a lot of money to spend, is to go to a fast food restaurant. I want to document one of these trips for a double page spread, as I want a few double page spreads to represents how generation Z spend their spare time and evenings. I will use my Leica polaroid camera and also use the coloured instax film. I want to make sure I document the entire journey, from car journey to eating to then driving home. I wouldn’t be planning clothing or anything like that as I would just be observing and taking image sin documentary style and this also means I won't give any direction whilst shooting.
  • 6. Shoot 4 Location: York College Models: Art / Music / Media Students of York college With this shoot I don't have any other plans than to take my polaroid camera and 40x coloured instax film into college, everyday for a full week. College is an experience that all teenagers go through after finshing school and GSCE's, it’s the first step for teenagers to making their own decisions in terms of their future. It’s a big change from spending 5 years at high school, college offers more freedom and tennagers transistion to the 18 and over period which opens so many aspects of adulthood for young people. I wanted to capture students in an educational setting but still socialing and interacting between eachother. On my breaks sometimes me and my friend who is in the same class as me, Emma, like to socialise with a few friends on different courses. Therefore I hope to have a few different faces and to capture some quirky angles and perspectives of students at college.
  • 7. Shoot 5 Location: Field in Easingwold Models: Robyn Noble and Emily Grace Porter During the period of your life when your between the ages of 18-21 years old, friendship is very crucial and imporatant when going through postive and negative experinces. I'm lucky to be in the position were my best friend is around me all the time due to us living together. Even though our sheduals don’t guve us a lot of days to spend together shes always there for me and im always there for her. I wanted to represent how much friendship means to people in Generation Z, our genaration are the most social genartion, weve never not know to have no contact with whoever we want and whenever we want. This has made friendships become more instense for impactful on an individuals life. On one of the rare days robyn and I had a day off, I've planned a daytrip with robyn to go for a pincin in a local field in easinwgold, something we like to do when its nice weather and we don’t have any money. We'll bring her boyfrined charlie to take the polaroid imgaes of us both but I'll be taking the indivdual photos of robyn. I plan to have this double page green and illustarted with drawning that represent nature as I plan to shoot in a green field and want to the design to link with the polaroid images.
  • 8. Shoot 6 Location: Nathan's House – Rawcliffe (York) Model(s): Nathan Riley I want a range of different personalities and also different looks in my magazine, all within generation Z. I've planned to spend a couple f ours round at my close friends house, nathan Riley to observe and take a few polaroid images of him. I want to represent nathan as a cheeky, homebird, young lad who lives in his dressing gown. A note ive give myself for this shoot is to be aware of the models compostion in individiual shoots. Due to the struture of my magazine, and having introduction pages to characters within the generation which are surrounded double page spreads including them characters, I don’t want all the introduction pages having the same style images. I want to make sure I have fun and new angles throughout my magaizne to keep the reader interated and to keep the magazine inetersting.
  • 9. Shoot 7 & 8 Location: Easingwold Model(s): Charlie Scarce and Robyn Noble With this shoot I thought about what I could add to the image to get a different effect than ive had in previous shoots. I've ordered 10 sparklers off amazon and planned with Charlie and robyn to a shoot on an evening to get some polaroid with sparklers. On the same evening I planned shoot 8 as I didn’t think the sparklers shoot would take to long due to the un knowing effect the sparklers will make I didn’t want to waste too much time on them. Charlie will be the focus of of both shoots as I want to gather images for his introduction page and the feauting double page spread. Charlies shoot was focused on him in his car due to his obbsession with his car and cars in general. But since ive ordered 10 sparklers to get the shots of charlie and robyn with the sparklers on the same evening as I don’t think this shoot will take us as much time. Charlies personality is shy and introverted yet caring and loving and wanted to try and capture all these aspects of his peronality along with his strong interest in cars.
  • 10. Shoot 9 & 10 Location: Tom's House (Easingwold) Model(s): Tom Porter and Jake Wright I didn't necessarily have a shoot planned but I've asked my bother, Tom and his friend Jake, both aged 18 years old, if I can take a few polaroid photos of them one day after school. As a 20 year old, most of my peers are between the ages of 19 and 21, and I wanted to feature the whole range between 18-21. Luckily, my brother, tom, is 18 years old and so is his best friend Jake. Both boys are highly interested in games and woukd consider themselves "gamers," they love: xbox, playstation, pc games, etc. This interest of Tom's is something I know little about but realise is a huge culture within our generation, I also realised without my brother I wouldn't really be around this culture as its not an interest of mine but I was not interested in whole culture of it, the constant communication and addiction to winning and being the best. I planned with tom, for one evening to sit and observe his in his room playing his games whilst on the headset to his friends who will also be playing the same games. It's very important for me to be able to reach my aim, to feature different personalities within one generation (generation Z) having a 'gamer,' in my magazine features a huge group that will attarct an audience with of that group, finding the realtable side and for those like me who don't play games, might find an interest as I did.
  • 11. Layouts I want to keep my layouts clean but without too much empty space, to do this I have the idea to add hand drawn illustrations that fit the page and the themes of the page. Therefore this goes side by side with my hand written text and keeping my project cohesion throughout. I like the idea of layering images and having writing on top of images but with all that going on not letting it get too messy. I'm going to have the polaroid image kept separate from the Nikon images, but I'll embed them throughout my magazine. I've decided to not keep the other affects from my production experiments apart from the polaroid imagery and also the hand written scanned elements. I made this decision so that my magazine have a consistent style throughout and so that the reader wont be confused with the themes and style, I felt added different image affects would take focus of the polaroid and also the representations that I'm trying to portray. After having ideas on layout I decided to make rough, basic drafts of layouts.

  • 15. Context Pages With my magazine being a photography, I don't want pages and pages of writing but I also think it will benefit the readers understanding of the magazine by adding a few context pages. These context pages would inform the reader about the magazine and also about the theme of the particular issue/edition. During planning, I drafted basic layouts to figure out the structure of my magazone, I has to decide wether to keep cpntextual informtion all together or split the information up. I drafted the different versions layouts and decided to keep the two different pieces of information separate from eachother. I believe it not only visually looks better but also makes for a clearer layout for the reader because the two main and most important pieces of information aren't put together but separate, demanding their own attention. I also considered the idea of my magazine being a monthly produced and published magazine, with the thought of more editions, I pictured the structure of each edition and felt keeping to one structure would keep it cohesive mo matter how different the themes of each edition might be. It also makes it a lot easier for readers as having a structure youre aware of what you're being informed where and when leaving no confusion. I decided that the first page would be an introduction page to my magaine, letting the reader know the core representations (generation Z) of the magazine, the the other editions in mind this page would never change the information, only the Image would change. Then id have a striking image covering a double paged spread to break up the pages of information. After the striking image there will be another double paged spread describing and informing the reader about the theme of the issue depending on the edition, with the edition I am producing being 'instax' photography. After I was happy with the structure of these pages, I deceided to embed two more contextul pages through my magaizne that represent the voice of generation Z. these pages would be an opinion from the mind set of generation Z and would go side by side with a relatable poalroid to bring in the theme of the particular magazine.
  • 16. Colour schemes I'll keep the colour palette very one because I feel I can due to the theme of instax photography. The design elements, as long as they work with the polaroid effect, I am able to play around with multiple different colours. In essence I will give every section of my magazine an indivdual background colour. I will make sure each colour works with the one previous and the one following and will work with the images and illustrations organised on the page. For example I'll keep Robyn around the colour green as I plan on mainly shooting her outdoors in a nature setting. I plan to arrange my polaroid's through individuals and shoots, I want to keep images that are of the same shoot together to create a setting and a theme for the particular page. To get my colour scheme I plan to pull a distinct colour from a selection of polaroid's and adapt the colour to fitting all the images I've chosen for that page. To experiment with this, I've take some random polaroid images online and created some examples of how I'd create a page colour from the images I have. I'll continue this process on every page, making sure the same tone is used on each colour to secure cohesivity but I want a range of colours to give each page its own identity that fits the images on that page. The colour scheme for my cover I know will be purely the image colours, I want a sunset with an aspect of the image having connotations towards youth and hope. Therfore I feel a simple peace sign would be perfect, I plan to have the cover as a sunset with a hand reaching up with a peace sign. the masthead and added text will have the font 'courier new' and the masthead will be white and the added text will be black, so that it doesn't clash with the image.
  • 17. I gathered random plaids from the internet to explore how I'd create a colour scheme through my images. I pulled one colour that is featured in most of the poalorids and made the tine fit to what I believed was a balanced tone that didn't gather to much attentio on itself as I wanted to images to be the main focal point. I also wanted to make sure that each page would have the same colour tone therefore I coloetheed two of these examples to get an idea of matching colours together without being too similar. Allowing the time for this process in planning should make construction of my magazine in production, quicker and easier because I'm following a pattern that I've planned and tried Single page example Double page spread example
  • 18. Models I plan on using a fair few models in my magazine but some models will just be featured due to the documentary photography side of my magazine but the main models and their ages, who are focal and involved in the set up photoshoots are listed below: Robyn Noble (19) Emily Jenkins (20) Emma Garthwaite (19) Elle Slater (20) Emily Grace Porter (20) Charlie Scarce (19) Aaron Reynolds (19) Nathan Riley (21) Tom Porter (18) Jake Wright (18)
  • 19. Text With the personal touches of my magazine I will feature hand written text, will bring all the personal touches together. I have the idea of having the majority of writing as hand written and scanned, this means all names and quotes I'll personally write. With the masthead on my cover and also for the contextual pages throughout my magazine I've picked the font 'Courier New,' this font I feel works well with my hand writing and also fits with the styles and themes I've planned throughout my magazine. These decisions came from my production experiment on text, the hand writing affects, I think is has a unique affect and with my magazine being a niche marketed magazine, I feel I have the accessibility to more open design features rather than the normal codes and convention of a standard magazine. As part of my planning ive made some exampled of text/font that I plan to use and also some exampled of my written text that I want to include. I want to make sure I get the celar visual effect from the text that I want tehrefore ive written
