2. Project Information
For my client project I took pictures for the New Zealand based company
‘EcoThirst’. My client asked for images that would portray the high end value
of the product but also the eco friendly, natural, outdoors vibe that the
company is portrayed like. They wanted images for both their Instagram
page and website. wanting summery time based imaged so they could
release them on the build up to summer. And also because the aesthetic of
the brand is all about being natural and eco friendly, being outdoors and
active. They also wanted images of the product on its own and also images
of a model with the product.
5. Images my Client has used on their
website
My client informed me that the images I had
taken where more suited to the website than
the ins tram and used them for the main
opening image for their website. The website
opens with a small slide show of 4 images; two
being my images, the opening image and the
closing image. I wanted to portray a luxury
product in a luxury environment. I also had the
natural and ecofriendly factors of the company
in mind, therefore kept all my images outdoors
in the sun.
6. Images my client has used on Instagram so far
The two images
gathered 20-30 likes
each, which is average
for the company. I
wanted to bring more
attention to the
company's Instagram
with my images but with
the company being very
new its going to take
time for the social media
attention to come.
Although I am happy
that my images matched
the company's own.
My client loved my
images and praised the
professional, luxury feel
The Instagram images
my client has used so
far where to promote the
end of winter and the
exciting build up to
summer. My client stated
she will be used them up
until summer comes.
