3. Research
• My research helped me because it gave me an idea
of what I wanted my product to look like, the
research helped give me a vague idea of the design
and layout I wanted to use on my own magazine.
• Took a while to figure out what I wanted to do with
my magazine but figured it out relatively fast after I
started the research.
4. Planning
• Used a mind map to choose what I wanted my
general idea to be which made it simple and easy to
follow, also used a mood board which helped me
further expand on what I wanted my magazine to
look like.
• Could have focused more on one point rather than
trying to expand into multiple ideas.
5. Time Management
• Yes, I completed my project with a week
left to do work/check on my work, would
have been better if we had more time
but I'm okay with the time I spent on this
project and how well I managed it.
7. Aesthetic Qualities
I think my work looks good, it was creative although
not unique, I like the green in the background and
how you can still clearly make out the text on top of
it, I would have improved the image choices if I had
more time but I couldn’t find pictures with the
colours I wanted
I personally like the images I had even if they weren’t
what I imagined when I was thinking of what to do
for my magazine.
8. Audience Appeal
Put information on there to
intrigue the 12+ audience,
didn’t really have reason to
target any other demographics
as its just a magazine about
rats.
Added information to cover about
similar stories to the on the
double page spread to grab the
attention of the age range I
wanted
10. Feedback 1
• What did you like about the product?
– I liked the images on the double page spread
there was enough text to keep intrested

cover
11. Feedback 2
• What did you like about the product?
– I like the photos that was used they were very appeal
to the younger audience which will bring in a more
demographic
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
I would use a different colour for the title as you
have to squint to see it and I would put more
photos of rats on the front cover
12. Feedback 3
• What did you like about the product? I liked
the amount of images of rats used on the
magazines front cover and middle pages.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
There should be more articles and things to read
on the front cover so it grasps readers attention
while walking by.
13. Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback?
• The title being difficult to read
• More articles on the front cover
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback?
• More rats on the cover
14. Peer Feedback Summary
• I would change the title, instead of changing
the colour of the title I would add some colour
behind it to make it easier to read, add more
smaller subsections of stories and facts about
the subject to make the cover more eye
catching.
