3. Research
the first thing I did at the beginning of my client project after sorting out my second client was gather
research about the business and the audience of the business. I gathered statistics from new
Zealanders and things to do surrounding topics around the business and the product. This gave me a
sense of how and who to sell the product to, it showed me the interests of the people I needed to sell
the product to. I then went on my clients Instagram and looked at profiles of buyers of the product and
gathered some images from their pages, this showed me the characteristics and visual look of the
models I should be using because these are the people in the public buying the product. For my
research I also created some questionnaire and had two females who fit my target audience closely
and gathered some primary date to add even more detail to my audience because the more
information about my audience the easier for me to sell a product to them.
4. Audience characteristics
My audince are healthy, active, young women who
drink natural tea. I tried to match that with the
images with the models, tgerefore having the
models in swimwears expresses the active, healthy
young women.
My images were taken by the audience as well as
their other images on their business
Instagram. The images ranked up similar likes to
what they usually get on product images and
images with models. I wanted to be able to get
some more attention from the public for the
business' Instagram but I'm satisfied with the
results of meeting the expectations of the business.
I believe my images match the asthetic of the
imstagram, keeping with the natural, sunny vibes.
My images intriuge the audince because they show
of a luxury holiday feel and it attracts thos lusting
for a getaway and some sun.

5. Ideas and Planning
I began my Ideas and planning by first of all briefly note down my first pitch from the client and my ideas
around that pitch. I then went and made a spider diagram of each individual idea/product that I was going to
make for the project. After gathering a clear idea of the concepts I created two mood boards. One of the mood
boards relating to the product and one gathering image of my clients actual product (glass infuser
bottles). these mood boards gave my concept a visible image to go off as I developed through my project. I
also then went further into detail with each individual concept bringing images and information about my
ideas for each concept.
6. Design
I wanted to keep to a theme, a theme that ties into
the business' aesthetic. I also knew I had the
opportunity to take pictures abroad due to a hokiday
being planned during the production stage of my
project. I therefore planned to make the most of the
location. I had a beautiful view from my villa and the
view itself I used for a back drop. This image the
business used as the opening image for their
website. They also used multiple other images o the
opening page of the website. I think the images I
collected for the website are good quality and
professional, I belive I got eaxctly what they wanted
for website images as they fit the whole aesthetic of
the whole website. My client was very impressed
with my images for the webiste, she said they look
like they belong their and very grateful for my work
as she believes it lifts the whole website.
7. Production
My production took place on holiday in Spain. I was lucky to have a holiday booked during my
production week because I knew I'd be able to create a certain aesthetic that suits my clients attitude
and style. If this holiday wasn’t booked I would of gone a complete different route and done a winter
themed but due to me being on a sunny island my and the client agreed instead of a brochure I would
take pictures for their website as the scenery was perfect for what they wanted. I took the pictures in
Spain in 25 degree weather around the garden and pool in the villa I was staying in. Once I took the
images I edited the brightness in photoshop and sent them over to my client.
8. Response
Client's Response:
"The images are perfect for my website! Thank you so much Emily, you really got the environment and
healthy attitude across that I wanted:) I think the images of the landscape and of you are perfect for
the website and I'll use a few images for the build up to summer as they off the sunny, vacation
attitude. Next time I'd give more variety but very professional Emily! Very impressed!"
Media Student Response:
"professional and suits the client very well, clear concept seen and achieved. Only negative is I'd
change the costume or use multiple."
Target audience questionnaire participant;
"The images make the product look expensive and luxurious, especially of the product with the
landscape. The models look fit and health and are also smiling which attracts me as a member of the
public."
