maintaining an adequate airway while lying
flat and during sleep

MANAGEMENT
• Nasal steroid spray
• oral leukotriene inhibitors, such as
montelukast.
• Antibiotics for the treatment of underlying
infection or antihistamines for management of
allergies.
• Functional rhinoplasty - reconstruction and
reshaping of the nose
• Septoplasty
