Key features include natural ventilation, daylighting with skylights, and an open-floor plan that takes advantage of cross breezes without need for air conditioning. The home blends into the landscape and utilizes the site's elevation changes. Rammed earth was chosen as the primary building material for its sustainability and cost-effectiveness. The case study highlights how the home successfully incorporates environmental, social, and economic sustainability principles in its design.
