Setting

The setting is an underground cavern called the hollow and the music starts with a
sad and depressing tune. This suggests that the setting for this scene is going to be
sad and maybe a climatic part of the game. Dom and Marcus are currently trying to
reach the queen of the locust. The music and sounds suggest that it is a war because
of the loudness the way the characters act and all the gunfire and explosions.

I think that the production techniques used are
pitch adjustment to get the higher notes that are
used for part of the music and loud intense
sounds have been used to show the feeling of the
character.

Mood

The mood set by the music suggests that it is sadness and anger that are expressed
in the mood of the scene. The music then changes the mood of the scene by getting
louder and more intense it so that something is about to end. The characters tone of
voice also suggests the pain that they are going through whilst in the tunnels. This
makes the music and the mood dark and hollow.
