Program comprehension is a crucial activity, preliminary to
any software maintenance task. Such an activity can be diffcult when the source code is not adequately documented, or the documentation is outdated. Differently from the many existing software re-documentation approaches, based on different kinds of code analysis, this paper describes CODES (mining sourCe cOde Descriptions from developErs diScussions), a tool which applies a \social" approach to software re-documentation. Specically, CODES extracts candidate method documentation from StackOver ow discussions, and
creates Javadoc descriptions from it. We evaluated CODES
to mine Lucene and Hibernate method descriptions. The
results indicate that CODES is able to extract descriptions
for 20% and 28% of the Lucene and Hibernate methods with a precision of 84% and 91% respectively.

Very often, source code lacks comments that adequately describe its behavior. In such situations developers need to infer knowledge from the source code itself, or to search for source code descriptions in external artifacts. We argue that messages exchanged among contributors/developers, in the form of bug reports and emails, are a useful source of information to help understanding source code. However, such communications are unstructured and usually not explicitly meant to describe specific parts of the source code. Developers searching for code descriptions within communications
face the challenge of filtering large amount of data to extract what pieces of information are important to them. We propose an approach to automatically extract method descriptions from
communications in bug tracking systems and mailing lists. We have evaluated the approach on bug reports and mailing lists from two open source systems (Lucene and Eclipse). The
results indicate that mailing lists and bug reports contain relevant
descriptions of about 36% of the methods from Lucene and 7%
from Eclipse, and that the proposed approach is able to extract such descriptions with a precision up to 79% for Eclipse and 87% for Lucene. The extracted method descriptions can help
developers in understanding the code and could also be used as a starting point for source code re-documentation.

How to recognize the Zombie Persona Apocalypse in Product Design & DevelopmentMichael Rawling
[original presentation contained sound, animation and video which is not supported here ]
Are User Personas haunting you? Did your team create some personas at the start of your project but then never use them? Are they fading stuck up on a wall somewhere, technically now just dead weight...irrelevant, moaning...’braiinssssss’!!
User Personas can really help your team have productive conversations with stakeholders that shift away from debating personal opinions into decision-making based on empirical data. Mike Rawling will share his experience of how you can work with personas in a pragmatic way that fits into the world of Agile without compromising UX, XP/Agile or Lean principles.
Come to this session to find out how to blend personas into your Agile process so they continue to serve as a useful reference for your team and stakeholders throughout product development.

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

2. Double World Introduction
Double world is a massive multiplayer open world game. The game is to be released on the
Xbox one. Developed by remedy games. The game is set in the far future where technology is
at an all time high. A device which called the dopple ganger has been created to serve human
needs and wants. The device creates a version of that same human to serve basic needs.
Gameplay Features -
• The game is completely open world so that you can travel to where you want
• Vehicles that include car, vans and motor cycles.
• Weapons such as pistols and SMGs.
• Enemies such as the police force and the doppelgangers
• Customizable outfits for character
• The Dopple ganger device
• Many open buildings and locations to enter
3. Inspiration For the Game
The inspiration for my game came from the film I robot. The reason for this is because I robot is about robots
that are created for basic human purpose. To serve humans with whatever they want, until one day they decide
to turn against humans because of a machine. I thought this helped me a lot with the inspiration for my game as
it is based around a man made device that creates a type of slave. Then they decide to turn against humans
because of a machine which makes them independent. A game that inspired me to create my game was
quantum break. I chose this because it was a lot about freezing time using a device or ability. This inspired me
because it is about being able to help people through the means of a device.
4. Double world – backstory
In the year 2552 technology has been at its best for the past 1000 years, and within the millennium a device was created to serve human needs and
wants, they called this device the doppleganger. When equipped this device generates a living servant that must obey it masters commands to the
letter, these devices had safety's so that the dopplegangers would never revolt or take a human life. One day a man in a hospital was dying he knew
he wouldn’t last long as his life signs were dropping quickly he placed upon his wrist the device and generated his doppleganger, the man asked for
his immediate death but the doppleganger denied his request, minutes later the man passed, but something happened then know one could have
guessed the device malfunctioned and the doppleganger became its own being, in its frustration the doppleganger ran away but whilst leaving a
nurse spotted the doppleganger and was confused as she never seen one do that before, she panicked and tried to capture the doppleganger it
resisted and threw her back into the wall, the impact on her spine killed the women. Now the doppleganger was scared he had just killed a human
and found out he was the only version of himself to do so.
The doppleganger disappeared like smoke in the air. He thought to himself ‘’ if I can survive without my human maybe other can to’’ he went out to
design a machine that would simulate the device malfunctioning just like his own so that the dopplegangers could be free from human slave work.
2 Weeks later –
Radio transmission 1
“there everywhere they are killing of us please send help there free I repeat the dopplegangers are free’’.
This transmission was picked up by a rogue agency and played to its members they new that the dopplegangers had attacked recently but nothing
that big before, they decided amongst themselves to send out one of their own to destroy the machine and dopplegangers for good. The nameless
hero was chosen for his skills in the field and undercover work from the past. So he went out seeking the device and to destroy it.
3 weeks later –
Police Broadcast –
“ we’ve found the fugitive and are chasing him get all doppleganger units after him we need to stop him before he finds and destroys the final
machine”.
7. Target Audience
The target audience for my game is generally aged 16+. This game contains a lot of
strong language and violence from the outset. This game would be unsuitable for
younger audiences because of the contents within the game. That is why I have
decided to aim the game at young adults.
When deciding on the target audience for the game I new from the outset that the
game would have to be aimed at an older and more knowledgeable age group. The
reason for this is that if I had decided to make it for younger audiences, it may
become an influence for them to try and recreate the violence and language that is
represented in the game.
8. Survey/market research
I decided to take it upon myself and create a survey with questions relevant to my game idea and just some
general questions so that I can find out who my audience is. After I posted my survey I got 40 responses from
which I created a word document with the survey on and one response from a participant.
