Ferrous sulfate is an iron supplement used to prevent or treat iron deficiency ane

Take ferrous sulfate on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after
a meal. Avoid taking antacids or antibiotics within 2 hours before or after taking f
errous sulfate.
