Family as a Agency For Peace Education

The family is an intimate domestic group made up
of people related to one another by bonds of blood,
sexual mating or legal ties. It is the smallest and
most basic social unit, which is also the most
important primary group found in any society.
परिवाि एक अंतिंग घिेलू समूह है जो िक्त, यौन संभोग या कानूनी संबंधों के बंधन से एक
दूसिे से संबंधधत लोगों से बना है। यह सबसे छोटी औि सबसे बुधनयादी सामाधजक इकाई है,
जो धकसी भी समाज में पाया जाने वाला सबसे महत्वपूर्ण प्राथधमक समूह है।
Meaning:
‘Family is a group defined by sexual relationship,
sufficiently precise and enduring to provide for the
procreation and upbringing of children.’

'परिवाि यौन संबंधों द्वािा परिभाधित एक समूह है, जो बच्चों के पिवरिश के धलए
पयाणप्त रूप से सटीक औि स्थायी है।'

… is with us always, or more precisely, we are with it.’

परिवाि, लगभग धबना धकसी सवाल के , धकसी भी समूह का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण है धजसे मानव
अनुभव प्रदान किता है ... परिवाि ... हमेशा हमािे साथ है, या अधधक सटीक रूप से, हम
इसके साथ हैं। '

Some definitions….
Family is the oldest and very important and fundamental social institution.
Therefore, the most effective agency of education though it is most informal
yet very effective and hence vital role play in the education of the child.
Some philosopher emphasized that in the importance of family in education
such as Mazzini is saying that the child first training in citizenship in the
mother’s lap and the father’s affection. Accepting the importance of the
family as a factor in the child education Montessori called his schools the
home of children.
परिवाि सबसे पुिाना औि बहुत महत्वपूर्ण औि मौधलक सामाधजक संस्थान है। इसधलए, धशक्षा की सबसे प्रभावी एजेंसी
हालांधक यह सबसे अनौपचारिक है धिि भी बहुत प्रभावी है औि इसधलए बच्चे की धशक्षा में महत्वपूर्ण भूधमका धनभाता
है।
कुछ दाशणधनकों ने इस बात पि जोि धदया धक धशक्षा में परिवाि का महत्व जैसे माध़िनी कह िही है धक बच्चे को मााँ की
गोद में नागरिकता का पहला प्रधशक्षर् औि धपता का स्नेह। बाल धशक्षा में एक कािक के रूप में परिवाि के महत्व को
स्वीकाि किते हुए मोंटेसिी ने अपने स्कूलों को बच्चों का घि कहा।
Family as an Academy of Socialization
स्कूल धशक्षा की तुलना में लोक ने घि पि धशक्षा को अधधक महत्व धदया। कै धमधनयस
का कहना है धक घि बच्चे के धलए सभी प्रकाि की धशक्षा का कें द्र है। फ्रोबेल सही है
जब वह कहता है धक घि पि प्रदान की जाने वाली धशक्षा प्रभावी औि प्राकृधतक दोनों
है।
Lok attached greater importance to education at home
than to school education. Caminious says that the
home is the centre of all kinds of education for the
child. Frobel is correct when he says that the education
imparted at home is both effective and natural.
Pestolozzi also felt that home is the child’s first school. Raymont
says, two children may attended the same school, may come under
the influence of the same teacher and the same organization may
pursue the same studies and performed the same exercise and yet may
differ as regards their general knowledge, their interest, their speech,
their bearing and their moral tone according to the house they come
from.
पेस्टोलोजी ने यह भी महसूस धकया धक घि बच्चे का पहला स्कूल है। िेमोंट कहते हैं, एक ही स्कूल में दो
बच्चे उपधस्थत हो सकते हैं, एक ही धशक्षक के प्रभाव में आ सकते हैं औि एक ही संगठन एक ही अध्ययन
को आगे बढा सकता है औि एक ही अभ्यास धकया जा सकता है औि धिि भी उनके सामान्य ज्ञान, उनकी
रुधच, उनके भािर् के संबंध में धभन्न हो सकते हैं, उनके असि औि उनके नैधतक स्वि के अनुसाि वे धजस घि
से आते हैं।

Socialization…
कुछ दाशणधनक के दृधिकोर् से ऊपि यह स्पि है धक नैधतक धवकास, दृधिकोर्, चरित्र धनमाणर्,
जीवन की वास्तधवकताएं, सही औि गलत के बीच अंति, नैधतक धवकास, रुधच, प्रेिर्ा औि
उनके परिवाि से शुरू होने वाले धकसी भी प्रकाि के धवकास। परिवाि बच्चे के समाजीकिर्
की सबसे महत्वपूर्ण एजेंसी है।
Above the view of some philosopher it is clear that the
moral development, attitude, character formation, realities
of the life, differentiate between the right and wrong, moral
development, interest, motivation, and any kinds of the
development starting from his family. The family is a most
important agency of child’s socialization.
The development of the child starting from his family
so the responsibilities of the family are most important.
The each and every member of the family cares and
solves the problem of his child.
बच्चे का धवकास उसके परिवाि से शुरू होता है इसधलए परिवाि की धजम्मेदारियां
सबसे महत्वपूर्ण होती हैं। परिवाि का प्रत्येक सदस्य अपने बच्चे की समस्या का ध्यान
िखता है।
possibilities of Family
मनोवैज्ञाधनक धसद्ांत औि कुछ दाशणधनक के धवचािों से ऊपि यह स्पि किता है धक परिवाि अपने बच्चों में
मूल्यों के दृधिकोर् औि कौशल के धवकास में महत्वपूर्ण भूधमका धनभा सकता है। प्रािंधभक बाल हुड अवधध में
बच्चा अपने माता-धपता से सीखता है। पधत औि पत्नी दोनों को आश्वस्त होना चाधहए धक उनके बच्चे का
बचपन अपने माता-धपता की गोद में समय धबताने के धलए "आया" की गोद में नहीं होना चाधहए।
Above psychological theory and views of some philosopher it clears
that the family can play crucial role in the development of the values
attitude and skill in their children. In the early child hood period the
child learn from his parents. The husband and wife both should be
assure that the childhood of his child spending the time in the lap of
his parents shouldn’t in the lap of “Aya”.
It is a fundamental duty of the parents, he shares our views,
ideology, and experiences with his child. In this context the
behaviour of the parents, interpersonal relationship among
husband and wife, brother and sister, and others member you
react or response than his/her child receive this action and he
also react or response accordingly.
यह माता-धपता का एक मौधलक कतणव्य है, वह हमािे धवचािों, धवचािधािा औि अनुभवों को अपने
बच्चे के साथ साझा किता है। इस संदभण में, माता-धपता के व्यवहाि, पधत-पत्नी, भाई औि बहन के
बीच पािस्परिक संबंध, औि अन्य सदस्य जो आप अपने बच्चे की तुलना में प्रधतधिया या प्रधतधिया
किते हैं, उन्हें यह धिया प्राप्त होती है औि वह तदनुसाि प्रधतधिया या प्रधतधिया भी किता है।

परिवाि के सदस्य को लैंधगक आधाि, धमणधनिपेक्ष िवैया, धाधमणक सद्भाव, नस्लीय
भेदभाव के धखलाि, जाधतवाद के धखलाि, सांस्कृधतक भेदभाव के धखलाि, व्यापक
धदमाग औि आधद से मुक्त होना चाधहए।
The family member should be free from the gender
baseness, secular attitude, religious harmony, against
of the racial discrimination, against of the casteism,
against of the cultural discrimination, broad minded
and etc.
The family member shouldn’t discriminate in the base of gander, in the base
of rich and poor, in the base of status, and etc. They should be provided the
equal opportunity. The family member should be developed the spiritual
value, moral values, respect for other religion, respect for others, tolerance,
and critical thinking. Than you can creates the good environment in the
family, society, country and in the world. If the family follow the principles
of peace than whole society become peaceful.
परिवाि के सदस्य को जेंडि के आधाि पि, अमीिों औि गिीबों के आधाि में, धस्थधत के आधाि में भेदभाव नहीं किना
चाधहए, औि आधद उन्हें समान अवसि प्रदान धकया जाना चाधहए। परिवाि के सदस्य को आध्याधत्मक मूल्य, नैधतक
मूल्य, दूसिे धमण के धलए सम्मान, दूसिों के धलए सम्मान, सधहष्र्ुता औि महत्वपूर्ण सोच धवकधसत किनी चाधहए। थान से
आप परिवाि, समाज, देश औि दुधनया में अच्छा माहौल बना सकते हैं। अगि परिवाि शांधत के धसद्ांतों का पालन किता
है तो पूिे समाज शांधतपूर्ण हो जाता है।
possibilities of Family….
• Awareness about peace education among family
members (परिवाि के सदस्यों के बीच शांधत धशक्षा के बािे में जागरूकता)
• A family’s attitude towards a new generation(एक नई
पीढी के प्रधत परिवाि का िवैया)
Issues and Challenges:
• Identification and specification of the role of family
as a peace building institution(शांधत धनमाणर् संस्था के रूप में
परिवाि की भूधमका की पहचान औि धवधनदेश)
• Collaboration of family and school for peace
education(शांधत धशक्षा के धलए परिवाि औि स्कूल का सहयोग)
Finally it may be concluded that the family can play a vital role
in the socialization of the child. Family may act as a tool for
providing awareness and education for peace among the
members of the family, society, and the nation. Therefore, a
direct and efficient effort is needed for developing awareness
for the peace education among our society.
अंत में यह धनष्किण धनकाला जा सकता है धक परिवाि बच्चे के समाजीकिर् में महत्वपूर्ण भूधमका
धनभा सकता है। परिवाि, परिवाि औि समाज के सदस्यों के बीच शांधत के धलए जागरूकता औि
धशक्षा प्रदान किने के धलए एक उपकिर् के रूप में कायण कि सकता है। इसधलए, हमािे समाज में
शांधत धशक्षा के धलए जागरूकता धवकधसत किने के धलए एक प्रत्यक्ष औि कुशल प्रयास की
आवश्यकता है।
Concluding Remarks
कािणवाई व्यधक्तगत स्ति से शुरू होनी चाधहए औि सामाधजक स्ति तक पहुंचनी चाधहए। इस तिह
सिकाि की नीधत, िाजनीधतक दल, गैि सिकािी संगठन, धाधमणक संत, धाधमणक संस्थान औि प्रधसद्
व्यधक्त के सकािात्मक प्रयास शांधत धशक्षा के प्रधत जागरूकता के धवकास में बहुत महत्वपूर्ण भूधमका
धनभा सकते हैं। आइए हम एक शांधतधप्रय मानव समाज बनाने के धलए कडी मेहनत किें!
The action should start from individual level and reach to the
societal level. In this way the government policy, Political party,
positive effort of NGO, religious saint, religious institutions,
and famous persons can play very important role in the
development of awareness towards peace education. Let us try
hard for creating a peace loving human society!
