The Python Of The Kingdom Animalia
Topic 1: Context
By Selah Green
Topic 1A) The Python of the Kingdom Animalia, Phylum Chordata, Class Reptilia, Order Squamata,
Family Phythonidae is vertebrate with several diverse species (spp.) (Banks, 2004).
Topic 1B) The Python spp. is classified with Kingdom Animalia because they re heterotrophs and
exhibit motility. The Python spp. descendent from a chordata because they have a spine and backbone
developed from the notochord and dorsal nerve cord. The Python spp. is cold blooded species and
covered in scales. They have embryos or eggs that are covered by an amniotic membrane. All
phylogenetics are consistent with their relationship to lizards around 150 million years ago in the late
Jurassic Period (Strauss, 2016).
Topic 1C) There are different species of Pythons so their environments vary. The P. molurus bivittatus
inhabit Southeast Asia in jungles and grassy marshes (Society, 2014). The P. regius lives in Africa
adapting into farmland or grassland savannah. Most Python spp. are native to parts of Asia and Africa
(Gorzula, 1997). Some of the Python spp. swim and water features are important to their environment
such as the P. bivittatus. Juvenile P. bivittatus spent most of the time inhabiting trees but as adults, they
increase in size and weight will shift their habitat to the ground (Society, 2014). P. anchietae inhabits
rocks on mountain terrains and plains with shrubs (M.A, 2010).

Grief Relief Counseling Essay
Grief, anger, crying, despair and loneliness are just to name a few of the symptoms of one would feel
at the loss of a loved one. According to research no study conducted can detect the true feelings of
how one would feel about losing a loved or watching someone slowly die each day while on hospice

A research study was conducted to show the effects of grief relief counseling for the Hispanic/Latino
Community. The study took place in rural area in Tupelo, Mississippi, the southern part of Lee

Sistine Chapel Essay examples
Michelangelo de Buonarotti, a distinguished painter, sculptor, architect, and poet of Italy was born in
1475 in the territory of Arezzo, in Tuscany. His time was of a new age of enlightenment where artistic
and inventive freedom was beginning to come back into the forefront, Michelangelo stands as the
archetype of the Renaissance genius, with a talent that transcends time and continues to influence and
inspire contemporary artists. Michelangelo grew up and was first exposed to stone carving, he
regarded himself first and foremost as a sculptor. (FIERO) Michelangelo was commissioned by Pope
Julius II Della Rovere in 1508 to repaint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel frescoed earlier by Piero
Matteo d Amelia with a star spangled sky. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In my opinion, this depiction of the Last Judgment is beautifully rendered and very stylized.
The idea of commissioning an enormous fresco, the largest ever painted in that century, depicting the
Last Judgment, was probably suggested to Clement VII by the traumatic events that were undermining
the unity of Christians at the time. After the pope s death, on September 25, 1534, and only two days
after Michelangelo s arrival in Rome, his successor, Paul III Farnese confirmed the commission to
Michelangelo, and in April 1535, scaffolding was put up in front of the altar wall. Even before its
official unveiling, the Judgment became the target of violent criticisms of a moral character. All that
had happened in the church in the years that preceded the Judgment, including the Reformation and
the Sack of Rome, had a direct influence on the work s conception: painted on the altar wall, the Last
Judgment was to represent humanity face to face with salvation.
The first impression I have when faced with the Last Judgment is that of a truly universal event, at the
center of which stands the powerful figure of Christ. His raised right hand compels the figures on the
left hand side, which are trying to ascend, to be plunged down towards Charon and Minos, the Judge
of the Underworld while his left hand is drawing up the chosen people on his right in an irresistible
current of strength. Excluded are the two upper lunettes with

Poetry Of Sappho And Catullus
The Ancient poetry of Sappho and Catullus has drawn many comparisons since their origins. In
particular, Catullus s poem 51 is a direct adaptation of Sappho s 31. This symmetricality of the two
poems allows for perfect comparison to highlight the ways in which the styles of the poets differ or
resemble the other. While both Sappho and Catullus write of love, uncontrollable desire, and the
overwhelming affect it has on them, Catullus brings a certain ego and self centeredness to his poem, in
turn changing the entire mood of the poem.
In both 31 and 51, the poets describe the overwhelming sensation of love and lust for a lover. Both
Sappho and Catullus manage to capture their affection and desire for their love, as well as the toll that
this lust takes on their psyche but in doing so shed very different light on the process. Sappho s poem s
depth and faith in love create a positive tone to the poem, while Catullus s ego and fear tinge his poem
with sadness and negativity. Sappho is able to portray this overpowering response as something
thrilling and exciting. She takes the nervous energy associated with attraction and with the love of
another, and shows that it is worthwhile. The positivity that she is able to weave through her poem
while at the same time portraying the nervousness at the beginning of attraction paints a realistic
picture of love. In the finale line of her poem, Sappho states, all is to be dared, illustrating how the
love of another, for Sappho, is

Antisocial Personality Disorder Paper
Antisocial Personality Disorder Personality disorders are a class of mental disorders. People with
mental disorders in general typically have a staggered pattern of thinking, functioning, and behaving.
Antisocial personality disorder (ASPD) is a mental condition in which a person has a long term
pattern of manipulating, exploiting, or violating the right of others. (Berger 2016). In other words,
ASPD is a condition where people suffering with the disorder tend to no care about rules or laws, and
are likely to act on their impulsiveness to commit a crime. In the 1940s and 1950s, research was done

punishment or negative consequences for any unlawful behavior have been able to work for some
people. When people with this condition do not want to have treatment, the court may have to order
them to receive treatment with negative consequences if they do not comply. Many people with cases

Why Men Are More Talented At Design Than Women
There is no way to accurately measure the success rate of designers based on sex or sexual orientation,
or, somewhat speciously, to examine if men are more talented at design than women. As Valerie
Steele, the chief curator of the Museum of the Fashion Institute of Technology, said: There is no gay
gene for creativity.
But circumstantial evidence is making some designers wonder about the disparities. Of the young
American designers most embraced by retailers and celebrated in the fashion press in recent years, the
roll call is almost exclusively male: Zac Posen, Marc Jacobs, Narciso Rodriguez and Mr. Som as well
as Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler. Their female contemporaries have
had a harder time breaking through, among them Behnaz Sarafpour, Alice Roi and Ms. Subkoff.
Gay men stick together like a band of brothers, Ms. Subkoff said in an interview. It s more common
for a man to bring up a younger assistant who is male and be proud of that, she added, whereas a
woman would be threatened to promote another woman.
The Council of Fashion Designers of America, a trade group that vets those who apply for
membership, is made up of 121 women and 156 men. Since 1986 its annual Perry Ellis awards for
young talent have been given to 8 women and 29 men (20 of them openly gay).

Why Is Kat Admirable
Kat is an admirable character because she doesn t care what others think, she follows her own path
and above all isn t afraid to speak out when something needs to be said. The first reason why Kat is
admirable is because she doesn t care what others think or say about her. For example in the opening
scene when Kat is in her car and she stops next to a car full of popular girls they stare at her because
she is listening to rock music but Kat doesn t care what they think she still keeps blasting her rock
music. This teaches to do/listen to what makes you happy or what you like no matter what even if
people are saying things or staring. Another reason why Kat is admirable is that she follows her own
path. For example, throughout the entire

The Transformation of Roman Catholicism Essay
The Transformation of Roman Catholicism Hans Kung presented a possible major retransformation
for Roman Catholic Christianity. He believed that
the renewal of the Catholic Church willed by the Second Vatican Council has come to a standstill.
(Kung:1971:9)
The transformation of Roman Catholicism both by the councils of Trent, Vatican I and II was believed
to have been needed in order to look ay the way in which the Christian tradition encapsulates the truth
of the religion. Both the Vatican councils attempted to transform Roman Catholicism.

Criticism of the legalistic, centralistic and rationalistic narrowing of the concepts of faith, doctrine and
infallibility. In addition Kung questioned whether faith depends at all on infallibility statements or on
infallibly true propositions.
In this essay I am going to look at the questions raised by Kung and attempt to critically analyse these
against the doctrine of infallibility. In order to do this I will take each of Kung criticisms of the Roman
Catholic concept of church infallibility, as outlined above and examine them.
The theological concern therefore of Kung is the reform of the Roman Catholic church
against a Biblical and an ecumenical horizon
(Haring:1998:116)
under minding the
stability and immutability of doctrinal statements as guarantees of truth especially when they are
obligated to Vatican I s rationalistic and legalistic concept of faith.
(Haring:1998:116)
For Kung the discussion about infallibility is a discussion about the way in which truth is dealt with
inside the church that it hermeneutical and at the same time related to church practice, it is not a
discussion about the capacity of the Catholic Church for truth.
Kung firstly took the concept of infallibility and questioned its biblical basis. Kung claims that it was
believed by the councils

Essay On Absolute Monarchy
Absolute Monarchy In all age rulers always wanted to be absolute monarchs, not only the kings but
also the queens. Their goal was to control every aspect of society. Throughout the 16th and 17th
Century the rise of many absolute monarchies become a common phenomenon in many European
countries. The power controlling under one people s hand makes economic development rapid, allows
for long term goals to be planned and met and allows for quicker decisions to be made. Among all the
leaders, Peter the Great, Maria Theresa, and Louis XIV can regard as the main representative.

though the people may not be willing to reform in the beginning, they will enjoy the benefits they gain

Economic is one of the essential factors for all the countries to develop their country. However, if the

church needs money to enlarge and decorate their church and king needs money to trade with other

monarchy, this will not happen. Elisabeth example can be cited here. During the time that

The expected result from this experiment, was that the plates containing plasmid DNA, GFP, and
IPTG would grow and exhibit a florescent glow. All the plates containing plasmid DNA would grow
and those that contained no plasmid would not grow. The plasmid DNA is able to be absorbed only if
the bacteria is competent, which is a result of the heat shock (Bacteria Transformation and Selection,
2017). The head shock opens the pores of the membrane allowing the passage of plasma. Super coiled
plasma is easier to be absorbed into the bacteria versus linear plasma (Bacteria Transformation and

This was seen in both trial A and B, where the plates exhibited no growth (Table 1, Table 2). The lack
of plasmid in the presence of the ampicillin, makes the growth of bacteria impossible because the
ampicillin destroyed the E. coli cells by breaking down their cell walls (How do Antibiotics..., 2006).
The bacteria had no added substance which would make them resistant to the ampicillin (Edvotek,
2014). Since no growth occurred on either plate, the transformation efficiency was unable to be
evaluated (Table 1, table 2). This plate was used as a control to show that without ampicillin bacteria
would not be able to grow without plasmid DNA. This plate can be used to specifically compare
against the plate that contained ampicillin and plasmid DNA. By comparing these two plates, one can
see the growth that was able to occur in the plates that contained the plasmid DNA versus the plate
that contained no plasmid DNA. In trial A, these two plates cannot be compared because both plates
lacked growth (Table 1). In trial B they can be compared because the plate containing the plasmid
DNA was able to grow (Table

Overfishing And Its Effects On Humans
Fish, one of the worlds leading food source in all regions of the world, but what if one day that food
source was to deplete so drastically that one could no longer use it as a food source? What would
happen to the people that rely solely on this source? What would happen to the people that relied on
catching fish as a job? What would happen to the worlds economy? These are only a few questions
that should be a concern in the result of Overfishing. The ocean is a big and mass world living among
us, taking up seventy eight percent of our space on Earth. This makes the idea of overfishing sound
ridiculous and people often ignore the idea. How could we possibly deplete such a large resource?
However, overfishing is not a concept to be taken lightly. Not every fish in the ocean is editable and
not every fish is able to be reached by fisherman. However, the fish we do commonly eat and catch is
being caught at an alarming rate, faster than they are able to reproduce, but we will talk about this
more later. For one to better understand overfishing, one must be aware of the causes of Overfishing
and the effects it has on our society. In order to better understand a concept, one must really dig down
beneath the surface in order to truly understand it. We will go over the causes and effects of
overfishing and its effects on the marine life, what it does to the food supply for civilization, and the
subtle signs warning us about overfishing. Not all marine life is edible, but that

The Sun Also Rises Robert Cohn Essay
What were your first thoughts when you read this? And then? And then? My first thought when I read
this was the realization of where Willy s stress and frustration stems from. The successes of his father
and brother in difficult environments emasculates Willy. Although he has a great superiority complex
when it comes to others, such as Charley when he comes to visit, when Willy speaks to his brother in a
hallucination like state, he acts completely submissive. His brother and father continue to have a
strong, dominating hold over him postmortem. My second thought was the realization that this is why
Willy is so hard on his children, especially Biff. Although he believes he failed in emulating his father
and brother, he views his boys as still ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Willy barely even knew his father, and therefore this grand legend and hero of a man he claims to be
his father, may be more a creation of his mind than memory or actuality. Fiction often makes things
out to be more grandiose than they actually are. Oftentimes, people tend to glorify what they don t
know about or have not experienced in person. Precisely, one example of someone romanticizing what
they do not understand is the character Robert Cohn from The Sun Also Rises. Specifically, at the
beginning of the story, pages 2 to 3, Robert Cohn romanticizes South America. Like how Willy does
not know his father outside of the stories he s heard from his brother, Robert Cohn knows nothing
about South America aside from what he read in The Purple Land . Neither of them knows many
specific facts, with Robert unknowing of where, IN South America, he desires to travel specifically,
and Willy struggling to remember what instrument it was that his father actually played in the few
memories he has. This vagueness in understanding enables both of these characters to further

Summary Of Fifty Shades Freed
With the anticipation of Fifty Shades Darker coming out, it seems Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan
are already gearing up for Fifty Shades Freed. The two were spotted wandering up and down the Cote
d Azur beach. But the interesting part was when the actress was seen in a skimpy yellow two piece
bikini while photographers were taking pictures like crazy. Is this the scene from the Fifty Shades
Freed novel where the two lovers were already on their honeymoon? It must be that because Dakota
suddenly went topless to sunbathe while her co star Jamie Dornan approached her for some massage.
The sweetest part was when Jamie made sure his co star was all covered up with a towel whenever
they were not being filmed. According to reports, in the same

Smell versus Taste with Food
Taste and smell are something we use every day. From the moment we wake up,we are smelling
things all around us. We taste food every single time it enters our mouth. But, do we really know how
each of them work?
Every time we put something in our mouths we are able to taste it. Taste is one of the five senses:
touch, smell, hear, vision, and taste. Small structures, papillae, found on the surface of the tongue,
upper esophagus, and epiglottis are responsible for taste. We have over 10,000 taste buds or papillae.
They were first discovered by Georg Meissner(1829 1905) and Rudolf Wagner(1805 1864).The
process of tasting is called gustation. Chemical substances in solutions stimulate the cells and they
send nerve impulses to the brain, we detect this as taste. The word taste is derived from a Latin word,
taxare, meaning to feel , to touch of to judge.
When an individual puts a substance in their mouth, five distinct tastes can be detected. These five
distinct sensations or qualities are sweet, salty, sour, bitter, and umami. When any of these tastes touch
the tongue, the receptors send signals to the brain on what to interpret. Each taste has a different
chemical reaction. For example, when saliva breaks down sodium ions (Na+) or acids, your tongue
detects it as salty or sour(Light,2009). The chemical break down for a sweet taste is hard to specify
because many chemical elements are involved.
Taste buds are located all around the tongue, the cheeks, and the

Key Issues Related To Plagiarism
Define key issues related to plagiarism, piracy, and netiquette. Do you feel one is more important than
the other? Are the issues interconnected? Are the expectations to follow computer ethics unrealistic?
Do you feel consequences for the misuse of computer ethics are too strict or not strict enough?
Explain your answers.
Issues related to piracy, plagiarism, and netiquette
Brandon Vail
Piracy and plagiarism are both ways of stealing information from the internet. Piracy is stealing and
selling copyrighted software, books, etc. Plagiarism is improperly citing, playing off someone else s
work as yours, or not citing the source of information you use to write a term paper or a newsletter for

(2) At any given second, someone in the U.S or elsewhere could be finishing up an illegal download
of a movie. The punishments for misuse of computer ethics are very severe, practically on the
borderline for the cruel and unusual punishment amendment. Which is exactly why this should be
brought up to the federal courts. Some of the key issues surrounding Piracy, Plagiarism, and
Netiquette are severe, in the sense that if correction is not brought about soon, society as a whole will
suffer.

Stinging Insect Allergy
Have you recently discovered that you re allergic to bees or wasps? Are you now wondering whether
or not you have another stinging insect allergy? It s no fun to discover that you re allergic to anything,
but these tips can help you to avoid potential issues: Ask your doctor about an EpiPen: If you ve been
stung before, you may have had only a very mild reaction as a result. However, there is no way for
your doctor to determine whether you ll have the same reaction or a much more severe one in the
future. A stinging insect allergy that previously resulted in moderate swelling the last time may turn
into a severe reaction that results in anaphylaxis. Anaphylaxis is an extreme reaction where you may

Bees and wasps can be attracted to perfume, especially perfume with a floral scent. If you don t feel
right without some perfume, use as little of it as possible. Wearing a musky scented perfume, instead
of a floral or fruit scent, may also help. Wear light colors: Another way to avoid being stung is to
avoid wearing bright and colorful clothes. Bright colors can confuse a bee or wasp into thinking that
they are flying towards a flower. If you wear clothes that are very light or very dark, there is a much
smaller chance of your shirt being mistaken for a flower by an angry wasp. Dealing with a stinging
insect allergy can be scary. Fortunately, there are many ways to manage your condition so that you ll

Effects Of Equestrianism On Horse Riding
Equestrianism or what it is more typically known as to Americans, horseback riding, is considered one
of the oldest sports. It has been said that horseback riding was known to be an intense sport among
men. It is not only physically challenging because it requires an athletic build for it, but because it
takes tolerance, dedication, time, and the most important one of all is building and strengthening that
bond with the horse. If there is no relationship between the two then there isn t going to be a good
experience for the two. Time is needed to train and bond since horseback riding is a team sport. The
sport can become highly dangerous for the equestrian or the professional rider whenever, since there is
not a moment of time when the rider s life is at risk while riding the horse. Hence that is why
equestrianism is considered one of the top leading sports for causing traumatic brain injury.
Neurological Focus Journal has found that horseback riding causes the most traumatic brain injuries
among adults and it wasn t a contact sport that caused it. In the database, 45.2 percent of TBI among
adults were related to horseback riding, dwarfing the other causes. The second leading cause of sports
related traumatic brain injury was falls or hits from contact sports like football and soccer, but that
accounted for just 20.2 percent of TBIs. (ABCNews, Gillian Mohney). Even on a normal day to day
basis, horseback riding resulted at a higher rate when being admitted to a hospital

2 Aminoanthraquinone Synthesis Lab Report
SPECTRAL ANALYSIS OF AMTPAA The amine group of 2 Aminoanthraquinone undergoes Schiff
condensation with carbonyl group of 4 (N,N Diphenylamino) benzaldehyde along with the formation
of water as byproduct. AMTPAA has extended conjugation because of which it can be used as a hole
transport material (HTM). 2 Aminoantharquinone (AAQ) has an absorption peak at 402 nm in UV
spectroscopy which is attributed to the π π* transition of the atomic C=C ring and n π* transition of
C=O bond. 2 Azomethine 4 triphenyl amino anthraquinone (AMTPAA) has an absorption peak at
411nm.
The red shift of 9 nm observed in AMTPAA can be attributed to the extended conjugation which is a
direct consequence of the electron withdrawing azo methane bond and planar conformation of the
azomethane based backbone resulting in electronic push pull effect. An asymmetrical band with broad
shoulder peak towards shorter wavelength (around 340 350 nm) was observed due to the overlapping
with another band of the conjugated structures. As the shoulder peak has weak absorption in the
visible region these compounds will not hinder sunlight from efficiently reaching the light absorbing

No matter what grade you re in, campus visits in any form are beneficial. A camp at the university or
college, a campus event, or your usual campus visit are all great ways to experience the place you re
considering calling home for your college years. My mom had some great advice in this process for
me which was what helped keep my somewhat levelheaded during the college decision process.
Don t wait until senior year to do your visits
This is a sure way to be incredibly stressed out. Amongst all the efforts to survive the year, don t put
yourself in the situation of making a four hour trip one way to visit a campus. It s a huge mistake.
My mom got onto me about this. She was excited for me to be preparing for this next adventure in my
life, but she and I had to coordinate schedules to make four or five hour drives over the course of a
day or a weekend.
With two of my visits, we drove down on Saturday, spent the night, did some seeing around town
(mostly involving food) on Sunday, and visited the campus on Monday in the morning so we could
drive back home on Monday. Make the most of your trip to the campus, especially if it s farther away
from home. Find a couple places to check out or make your study home while you re in school.

Rice Riot Essay
Rice riots
Rice riots happened in 1918 when Japanese government was involved in the Siberia intervention and
the economy of Japan was in war prosperity that the export and industrial development was growing
rapidly. To maintain the competiveness of the Japanese exports and industrial product, the government
set the purchasing price of the rice merchant from the peasants, which was much lower than the
market rice to lower the industrial production cost from the raw materials. As a result, the living
standard of the general peasants and workers in the city had even worsen under the prosperity despite
the huge growth in industry and economy. In May 1917, the rice market price starts to rise rapidly by
3 yen per koku and the price reached 50 yen ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The rice riot indicated the social structure at that time that the peasants and low level workers were
highly exploited and could not even benefit from the development of the economy. This riot meant the
strong dissent to the oppression from the government and the industrial Zaibatsu from the peasants to
normal Japanese people. To the government, this riot indicated that this economic development style
could not be sustainable, thus entered a more democratic period 1920s. The riot had led to three major
changes to the society. Firstly, the salary of the citizens and the purchasing price of the peasants were
raised a little while the government tried to lower the market rice by increasing import from its colony
Korea and Taiwan as well as other rice producing countries (Morgan 2011, 121 122), which slightly
improved the living standard of the poor. The more important impact is in the government that Hara
Takashi, who was the first untitled premier. This indicated the end of the Kazoku control of the
government and the raise of the party politics. Since the cabinet of Hara, the premier and cabinet
members could be untitled, which indicated a great progress to the Japanese democracy development.
The rice riot also caused the strong opposition to the left wing ideology in Japanese government. After
the riot, most of the leaders in the movement were arrested and put to the death sentence. To avoid
such a riot happening again, the government had a stronger opposition to the left wing movement and
strikes (Morgan 2011, 125 134). For instance, even in 1925, a more democratic period, to avoid the
spread the communism in Japan and other left wing ideology, the diet had passed Public Security
Preservation Laws to delegalize the left wing parties. The strong attitude against the left wing
ideology were because of the serious rice

Justice in Plato s The Republic Essay
Plato creates a seemingly invincible philosopher in The Republic. Socrates is able to refute all
arguments presented before him with ease. The discussion on justice in Book I of The Republic is one
such example. Socrates successfully refutes each different view of justice presented by Cephalus,
Polemarchus, and Thrasymachus. Socrates has not given us a definitive definition of justice, nor has
he refuted all views of justice, but as far as we are concerned in Book I, he is able to break down the
arguments of his companions.
Cephalus is the first to give his opinion of justice as simply speaking the truth and giving back what
one takes. In even simpler terms, it is to do the right thing. (Republic 331) Socrates argues that to give

Justice is the advantage of the stronger according to Thrasymachus. He even goes a step farther to say
that injustice is stronger and freer than justice, yet justice is the advantage of the stronger. Socrates
shows that justice is in the receiver of it, not the provider. According to Socrates, a just man will be the
healthier and happier man because he is wiser.
So it is not a question of Socrates refuting the views presented to him by these three men, but one of
the completeness of these views. Does Plato give each of these views a proper defense, or is he trying
to build up his glorified version of Socrates? Cephalus is not given much exposure in Book I so his
argument on justice is somewhat limited. But for Socrates, refuting a statement as simple as giving
back what one takes does not take very long. Cephalus s view is given its due consideration and his
purpose here is more than just to introduce an opinion of justice. Cephalus introduces the key subject
of justice by talking about leading a good life. Socrates is able to tie this to justice and later tie justice
to the soul.
Polemarchus and Thrasymachus are given more time in Book I. Polemarchus continues the argument
his father was making and takes it a step further to include discussions on friends and enemies.
Socrates is able to convince his opponent to agree with him, as he does with all his opponents. Are

Cunard is facing a problem as to whether their marketing efforts should go towards tactical

Overview
Cunard Line Ltd. is a cruise line that represents luxury and class providing four to five star cruise ship
options. Their overall target market is mature adults with mid to very high income levels. A lot of the

This method can be used for customers of the four or five star ships. This loyalty program would
provide occasional direct offers to customers who already have experience with Cunard and therefore
will not view the deals as a lowering of standards. An example of a deal that can be provided is a
selling package that is good for a year or two. This package would outline a discounted price for a set
amount of people to travel on a certain cruise ship. That way, there is enough time for a customer to
realistically plan out a trip while providing an incentive for them and encourage more action as
opposed to a regular priced ad.
Lastly, an alternative that can be taken is to build relationships with various large companies with
employees who make an income in the target range and make offers to company executives. This
method would not downplay the company image because Cunard would be communicating directly
with high income executives and furthermore will not be making any public sales or advertisements.
This method would create new potential customers who are directly in the target market of choice
using the method of relationship building. This may also result in additional customer retention. This
method can be used for both the four and five star ships. In order to attract the target market of the five
star ships, Cunard can make an arrangement with a company to offer a deal with their luxury ships as
part of a retirement plan.

The Importance Of Religions
Before I begin to talk about my personal calling, allow me to share some wisdom I heard at my first
SEND Conference in the Fall of 2014. Christians make such a major ordeal of their call . In churches
across the country, people ask others what s your call or use a lack of a Macedonian Call as an excuse
to not be evangelistic. I came to Holmes with that mindset. I knew I was called to missions. I had gone
to Honduras in September 2011. Before that, I had heard Isaiah 6:8 while Steve Harrelson was trying

Jamie Dunning spoke about his work among the people of Kenya using sustainable missions. He
spoke about using micro business loans to start chicken houses for the people of Kenya. It gives them
a job and source of income/food in an economy where money and food are scarce. It also gives the
people, the indigenous church, a self reliant mindset. This may sound brash or strange but consider
how a strongly independent people feel when they are the recipient of a welfare state mindset in
regard to missions? They feel stupid, weak and dependent on outside sources. In turn, this causes them
to view the religion of the missionary as something foreign or not their own . That is the polar
opposite of what we desire for the indigenous church (a term borrowed from Melvin Hodge). The
church is a united network of multicultural, multiethnic, and international groups who work for a
single purpose. Paul uses the analogy of the human body quite befittingly in regard to the Body of
Christ. ( The Indigenous Church by Melvin Hodge. Title quoted not line from book) Because of the
Dunning s use of sustainable missions, the church is not only growing in Kenya but also sustaining
itself. They have pride in what they do. They are able to share the Gospel by providing for the social
needs of the people. This is biblical social justice at work (Isaiah 56:1). This has inspired me to follow

Nobody Never Gets To Heaven And Nobody Gets No Land Analysis
The quote from the book, Nobody never gets to heaven, and nobody gets no land (74), subtlety
explains an underlying detail to the grand theme regarding the American Dream in the story Of Mice
and Men by John Steinbeck. The statement mentioned by Crooks, one of the characters that had once
sought for the dream, sums up the theme that humanity keeps chasing the same objective of living a
successful life, yet it remains unachievable. The plot of the story revolves around George and Lennie,
a pair of migrant farmers that work towards their personal dream of owning personal land for by
working on a ranch where they must attempt to cooperate with the multiple personalities of the other
workers to gain enough money to leave the ranch for their dream. Throughout the story, multiple

One form of resistance to flow is due to the viscosity of the liquid. Viscosity is the amount of work
needed to move one box of liquid against another box of liquid. Every liquid has it s own value for
this resistance to flow. SAE 30 motor oil has a lower viscosity and flows much easier than SAE 50
motor oil. The values for water are lower than for the motor oil. Another characteristic of any liquid is
its attraction to a surface. It attaches itself to any surface and cannot be moved. The liquid in the box
on the very surface of a pipe does not flow or move. It always remains stationary. The liquid in the
box above it has to slide against it and that requires an amount of energy to overcome friction between

suddenly, a hand reaches out for me , and he knows that the hand belongs to hassan, [Amir takes] the
hand and suddenly the hand is gone ... I look up and see the clear sky filled with kites (74). This dream
illustrates how Hassan has always been there for Amir. Amir is immediately guilty when he realizes
what is happening in the alley with Assef and his gang. He i guilty because he never stood up for his

Essay on Biography of Sir Joseph Lister
The Father Of Modern Surgery The hospital environment has not always been a place of sterility and
extreme cleanliness that is associated with it so readily today. Prior to the work of Joseph Lister, the
hospital was a place to go to die, not to be cured. If an individual was able to survive the pain and
torture of surgery without anesthesia, a postoperative infection would most certainly be their ultimate
demise. Thanks to Joseph Lister, later known as Baron Lister, a hospital is now a place of healing and

Lister and Isabella Harris on April 5, 1827 in Upton, England. Upton was a small village outside of the

very sympathetic person, and strove early in his career to change the previously accepted conceptions
of surgery. When Lister began his education surgery had a mortality rate of over 50%. This was
accepted by society, but not by Lister. He set out very early to change this problem. Joseph continued
his education and questioned

  • 3. The Python Of The Kingdom Animalia Topic 1: Context By Selah Green Topic 1A) The Python of the Kingdom Animalia, Phylum Chordata, Class Reptilia, Order Squamata, Family Phythonidae is vertebrate with several diverse species (spp.) (Banks, 2004). Topic 1B) The Python spp. is classified with Kingdom Animalia because they re heterotrophs and exhibit motility. The Python spp. descendent from a chordata because they have a spine and backbone developed from the notochord and dorsal nerve cord. The Python spp. is cold blooded species and covered in scales. They have embryos or eggs that are covered by an amniotic membrane. All phylogenetics are consistent with their relationship to lizards around 150 million years ago in the late Jurassic Period (Strauss, 2016). Topic 1C) There are different species of Pythons so their environments vary. The P. molurus bivittatus inhabit Southeast Asia in jungles and grassy marshes (Society, 2014). The P. regius lives in Africa adapting into farmland or grassland savannah. Most Python spp. are native to parts of Asia and Africa (Gorzula, 1997). Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In my opinion, this depiction of the Last Judgment is beautifully rendered and very stylized. The idea of commissioning an enormous fresco, the largest ever painted in that century, depicting the Last Judgment, was probably suggested to Clement VII by the traumatic events that were undermining the unity of Christians at the time. After the pope s death, on September 25, 1534, and only two days after Michelangelo s arrival in Rome, his successor, Paul III Farnese confirmed the commission to Michelangelo, and in April 1535, scaffolding was put up in front of the altar wall. Even before its official unveiling, the Judgment became the target of violent criticisms of a moral character. All that had happened in the church in the years that preceded the Judgment, including the Reformation and the Sack of Rome, had a direct influence on the work s conception: painted on the altar wall, the Last Judgment was to represent humanity face to face with salvation. The first impression I have when faced with the Last Judgment is that of a truly universal event, at the center of which stands the powerful figure of Christ. His raised right hand compels the figures on the left hand side, which are trying to ascend, to be plunged down towards Charon and Minos, the Judge of the Underworld while his left hand is drawing up the chosen people on his right in an irresistible current of strength. • 7. Poetry Of Sappho And Catullus The Ancient poetry of Sappho and Catullus has drawn many comparisons since their origins. In particular, Catullus s poem 51 is a direct adaptation of Sappho s 31. This symmetricality of the two poems allows for perfect comparison to highlight the ways in which the styles of the poets differ or resemble the other. While both Sappho and Catullus write of love, uncontrollable desire, and the overwhelming affect it has on them, Catullus brings a certain ego and self centeredness to his poem, in turn changing the entire mood of the poem. In both 31 and 51, the poets describe the overwhelming sensation of love and lust for a lover. Both Sappho and Catullus manage to capture their affection and desire for their love, as well as the toll that this lust takes on their psyche but in doing so shed very different light on the process. Sappho s poem s depth and faith in love create a positive tone to the poem, while Catullus s ego and fear tinge his poem with sadness and negativity. Sappho is able to portray this overpowering response as something thrilling and exciting. She takes the nervous energy associated with attraction and with the love of another, and shows that it is worthwhile. The positivity that she is able to weave through her poem while at the same time portraying the nervousness at the beginning of attraction paints a realistic picture of love. • 11. Why Men Are More Talented At Design Than Women There is no way to accurately measure the success rate of designers based on sex or sexual orientation, or, somewhat speciously, to examine if men are more talented at design than women. As Valerie Steele, the chief curator of the Museum of the Fashion Institute of Technology, said: There is no gay gene for creativity. But circumstantial evidence is making some designers wonder about the disparities. Of the young American designers most embraced by retailers and celebrated in the fashion press in recent years, the roll call is almost exclusively male: Zac Posen, Marc Jacobs, Narciso Rodriguez and Mr. Som as well as Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler. Their female contemporaries have had a harder time breaking through, among them Behnaz Sarafpour, Alice Roi and Ms. Subkoff. Gay men stick together like a band of brothers, Ms. Subkoff said in an interview. It s more common for a man to bring up a younger assistant who is male and be proud of that, she added, whereas a woman would be threatened to promote another woman. The Council of Fashion Designers of America, a trade group that vets those who apply for membership, is made up of 121 women and 156 men. Since 1986 its annual Perry Ellis awards for young talent have been given to 8 women and 29 men (20 of them openly gay). We taste food every single time it enters our mouth. But, do we really know how each of them work? Every time we put something in our mouths we are able to taste it. Taste is one of the five senses: touch, smell, hear, vision, and taste. Small structures, papillae, found on the surface of the tongue, upper esophagus, and epiglottis are responsible for taste. We have over 10,000 taste buds or papillae. They were first discovered by Georg Meissner(1829 1905) and Rudolf Wagner(1805 1864).The process of tasting is called gustation. Chemical substances in solutions stimulate the cells and they send nerve impulses to the brain, we detect this as taste. The word taste is derived from a Latin word, taxare, meaning to feel , to touch of to judge. When an individual puts a substance in their mouth, five distinct tastes can be detected. These five distinct sensations or qualities are sweet, salty, sour, bitter, and umami. When any of these tastes touch the tongue, the receptors send signals to the brain on what to interpret. Each taste has a different chemical reaction. For example, when saliva breaks down sodium ions (Na+) or acids, your tongue detects it as salty or sour(Light,2009). • 27. Effects Of Equestrianism On Horse Riding Equestrianism or what it is more typically known as to Americans, horseback riding, is considered one of the oldest sports. It has been said that horseback riding was known to be an intense sport among men. It is not only physically challenging because it requires an athletic build for it, but because it takes tolerance, dedication, time, and the most important one of all is building and strengthening that bond with the horse. If there is no relationship between the two then there isn t going to be a good experience for the two. Time is needed to train and bond since horseback riding is a team sport. The sport can become highly dangerous for the equestrian or the professional rider whenever, since there is not a moment of time when the rider s life is at risk while riding the horse. Hence that is why equestrianism is considered one of the top leading sports for causing traumatic brain injury. Neurological Focus Journal has found that horseback riding causes the most traumatic brain injuries among adults and it wasn t a contact sport that caused it. In the database, 45.2 percent of TBI among adults were related to horseback riding, dwarfing the other causes. The second leading cause of sports related traumatic brain injury was falls or hits from contact sports like football and soccer, but that accounted for just 20.2 percent of TBIs. (ABCNews, Gillian Mohney). Even on a normal day to day basis, horseback riding resulted at a higher rate when being admitted to a hospital ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

AMTPAA has extended conjugation because of which it can be used as a hole transport material (HTM). 2 Aminoantharquinone (AAQ) has an absorption peak at 402 nm in UV spectroscopy which is attributed to the Ï€ Ï€* transition of the atomic C=C ring and n Ï€* transition of C=O bond. 2 Azomethine 4 triphenyl amino anthraquinone (AMTPAA) has an absorption peak at 411nm. The red shift of 9 nm observed in AMTPAA can be attributed to the extended conjugation which is a direct consequence of the electron withdrawing azo methane bond and planar conformation of the azomethane based backbone resulting in electronic push pull effect. An asymmetrical band with broad shoulder peak towards shorter wavelength (around 340 350 nm) was observed due to the overlapping with another band of the conjugated structures. The rice riot indicated the social structure at that time that the peasants and low level workers were highly exploited and could not even benefit from the development of the economy. This riot meant the strong dissent to the oppression from the government and the industrial Zaibatsu from the peasants to normal Japanese people. To the government, this riot indicated that this economic development style could not be sustainable, thus entered a more democratic period 1920s. The riot had led to three major changes to the society. Firstly, the salary of the citizens and the purchasing price of the peasants were raised a little while the government tried to lower the market rice by increasing import from its colony Korea and Taiwan as well as other rice producing countries (Morgan 2011, 121 122), which slightly improved the living standard of the poor. The more important impact is in the government that Hara Takashi, who was the first untitled premier. This indicated the end of the Kazoku control of the government and the raise of the party politics. Since the cabinet of Hara, the premier and cabinet members could be untitled, which indicated a great progress to the Japanese democracy development. The rice riot also caused the strong opposition to the left wing ideology in Japanese government. After the riot, most of the leaders in the movement were arrested and put to the death sentence. To avoid such a riot happening again, the government had a stronger opposition to the left wing movement and strikes (Morgan 2011, 125 134). For instance, even in 1925, a more democratic period, to avoid the spread the communism in Japan and other left wing ideology, the diet had passed Public Security Preservation Laws to delegalize the left wing parties. • 32. Justice in Plato s The Republic Essay Plato creates a seemingly invincible philosopher in The Republic. Socrates is able to refute all arguments presented before him with ease. The discussion on justice in Book I of The Republic is one such example. Socrates successfully refutes each different view of justice presented by Cephalus, Polemarchus, and Thrasymachus. Socrates has not given us a definitive definition of justice, nor has he refuted all views of justice, but as far as we are concerned in Book I, he is able to break down the arguments of his companions. Cephalus is the first to give his opinion of justice as simply speaking the truth and giving back what one takes. In even simpler terms, it is to do the right thing. He even goes a step farther to say that injustice is stronger and freer than justice, yet justice is the advantage of the stronger. Socrates shows that justice is in the receiver of it, not the provider. According to Socrates, a just man will be the healthier and happier man because he is wiser. So it is not a question of Socrates refuting the views presented to him by these three men, but one of the completeness of these views. Does Plato give each of these views a proper defense, or is he trying to build up his glorified version of Socrates? Cephalus is not given much exposure in Book I so his argument on justice is somewhat limited. But for Socrates, refuting a statement as simple as giving back what one takes does not take very long. Cephalus s view is given its due consideration and his purpose here is more than just to introduce an opinion of justice. Cephalus introduces the key subject of justice by talking about leading a good life. Socrates is able to tie this to justice and later tie justice to the soul. Polemarchus and Thrasymachus are given more time in Book I. Polemarchus continues the argument his father was making and takes it a step further to include discussions on friends and enemies. This loyalty program would provide occasional direct offers to customers who already have experience with Cunard and therefore will not view the deals as a lowering of standards. An example of a deal that can be provided is a selling package that is good for a year or two. This package would outline a discounted price for a set amount of people to travel on a certain cruise ship. That way, there is enough time for a customer to realistically plan out a trip while providing an incentive for them and encourage more action as opposed to a regular priced ad. Lastly, an alternative that can be taken is to build relationships with various large companies with employees who make an income in the target range and make offers to company executives. This method would not downplay the company image because Cunard would be communicating directly with high income executives and furthermore will not be making any public sales or advertisements. This method would create new potential customers who are directly in the target market of choice using the method of relationship building. This may also result in additional customer retention. This may sound brash or strange but consider how a strongly independent people feel when they are the recipient of a welfare state mindset in regard to missions? They feel stupid, weak and dependent on outside sources. In turn, this causes them to view the religion of the missionary as something foreign or not their own . The methods by which students learned were also modernized, and the public view of surgeons was being changed. As late as the early to mid 1800 s surgeons were not considered worthy of the respect of physicians, and were not permitted by law to practice medicine.
