This paper discusses the different properties of composite materials under static testing condition to
determine the effect of aging due to change in temperature and moisture content. Effects on tensile,
shear, impact, stiffness and fatigue parameters are studied. For each property, application specific
composite materials are taken into consideration with different stacking sequence and number of plies.
Different samples of these are then introduced to different hygrothermal environments for example:
temperatures ranging from 50 degree Celsius to +50 degree Celsius or kept in wet conditions for 24
hours at different temperatures of 21, 37 and 50 degree Celsius etc. Different tests are performed
based on the material property to observe a change from the initial unaged specimen. To study every
property a different test method is discussed. A final comparison for each property between the unaged
and aged specimen is shown in order to see the property s dependence on temperature and moisture.
This comparison highlights the temperature and moisture dependent properties and showcase a trend.
Properties like tensile modulus, shear modulus, shear strength, flexural stiffness and fatigue life show
a decrease with increase in temperature and moisture content while Poisson s ratio and impact strength

There are numerous ways to improve the Malaysian electoral system both in fairness and efficiency.
Currently, there is a lack in confidence in the validity or neutrality of the Electoral Commissions (EC).
Members of the EC are elected by the Yang di Pertuan Agong (YDPA) after discussing with the
Conference of Rulers (Legal Research Board, 2013). However, according to Article 40 the YDPA can
only act after receiving advice from the Cabinet or a Minister representing the Cabinet (Legal
Research Board, 2013); in most cases it would mean the Prime Minister. Hence, it may seem that the
politically neutral EC were to be pro government. A solution to this problem would be to amend the
Constitution so that the House of Representatives can debate on the nomination of the EC members,
then their decision would be passed on to the YDPA. By doing so, the EC would comprise of members
that have the approval of both the government and opposition, thus making the committee fairer. Aside
from that, the EC should manage its own budget, and should be reviewed by the Auditor General and
not be dissected by the Parliament.

The research question that I am interested in answering is whether a combined prolonged exposure
(PE) and cognitive processing therapy (CPT) approach is useful in treating veterans with post
traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The ideal study would include four groups: one to receive PE, one
to receive CPT, one to receive both PE and CPT, and one that does not receive an intervention. The
groups would consist of an equal 50/50 male to female ratio (half of the participants would be male,
half would be female) to control for gender. The participants would be contacted based on information
gathered about veterans with PTSD by the local U.S. Department of Veteran s Affairs offices in
Orange County, California.
In this scenario, the independent variable is the type of treatment and the values are the treatment
groups. The dependent variables are the patient s measurable PTSD symptoms, including frequency of

In Chapter 7, Pinker says that women tend to think they are imposters at all achievement levels
whereas men tend to bluff. She provides examples of many women who have high achievements and
occupations that still feel like it is all due to luck rather than their hard work and talent. The belief that
their successes are due to external factors such as good luck and that their failures are due to internal
factors such as personal flaws is what Pinker defines as the imposter syndrome. Imposters tend to
