The study analyzes the biochemical components of three marine macroalgae species from the Levantine Sea coast of Turkey, focusing on their antioxidant activities, vitamin, and fatty acid compositions. Results indicated that palmitic acid is the most abundant saturated fatty acid, while monounsaturated fatty acids were major components across all species. The findings suggest that these algae could be beneficial for food and nutrition, emphasizing their role in providing essential fatty acids and antioxidants.
