Aramid fibers are a type of synthetic fiber made from linked benzene rings and amide bonds. They come in two types - para and meta. Para-type aramid fibers like Technora and Twaron are known for their superior tensile strength, elasticity, impact and fatigue resistance, and chemical and heat resistance. They are made into filament yarn, chopped fiber, staple fiber and spun yarn and used in applications like rope, cable, cord, rubber materials, construction, reinforcement of plastics, and safety materials.
