Jack Sullivan created a magazine cover and spreadsheet to promote a music artist. In his document, he discusses the research, planning, time management, target audience, and technical and aesthetic qualities of his work. He received peer feedback which noted that the main font on the magazine cover stands out well but could be improved with more images and subheadings. The spreadsheet effectively promotes the artist's music but page 3 could include more text for additional details. Jack agrees with this feedback and would make changes such as adding more content to the magazine cover and spreadsheet page 3 for more depth and professional appearance.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.

3. Research
• The existing product research has helped my product as I have looked at
other products that give me an idea how to make my magazine cover look
more professional. Also I looked at what different fonts looked effective
and fonts that stand out to the audience.
• I could of looked at more existing spread sheet designs, So i had more of
an idea about what fronts and colours look more proffessonal for a
magazine.
4. Planning
• I created mind maps of different magazine ideas. I created a more detailed
mind map when I chose what I wanted my magazine to be about. This
helped me choose what colours, fonts and images stand out more to the
target audience.
• I could of created more than one mind maps about music, and specifically
about the music artist the magazine article is about.
5. Time Management
• I believe I have managed my time well, as I have created a schedule to
manage what to work on when I was creating my magazine. The schedule
helped me space out what I was going to do on what day, so I didn’t fall
behind.
• If I had more time to produce my work I would of improved my magazine
cover, and added more subheadings and also maybe more images.
6. Target Audience Appeal
• My final product appeals to my target audience as it isn’t offensive in
anyway and it also doesn’t include any swearing. The price I made my final
product appeals to my target audience as my target audience is middle
class and I didn’t make my magazine expensive. I made the price
reasonable for the audience.
7. Technical Qualities
Both magazine covers
have the main title
across the top of the
page.
Both magazine covers
include a main image
of the music artist in
the centre of the page.
Both include subtitles
that are bold and
coloured.
Clothing advertisements
with clothing brand
name logo.
Grey background and
Black Main title. This is
so the black writing
stands out over the
background.
Gold and white main
font, stands out over
background.
8. The font of the title is
Segoe Script, this is the
same font I used for the
magazine cover and the
spreadsheet.
I have used an image of
the music artist on the
contents as the main
image.
I have made the
subtitles and text black
as I have used a yellow
background and the
black text stands out
over the yellow
background.
9. Aesthetic Qualities
This is my final spread sheet. I believe
that the background I have used is
creative because I have used another
image of the artist but made the
opacity percentage low so everything
over the background stands out. The
fonts and colours I have used are
simple but they are effective over the
background. I have also added other
images and subheadings to advertise
songs and other things related to the
music artists.
To improve my final spreadsheet I
would add more colours to my fonts to
make them catch the audiences eye
and stand out more.
10. Audience Appeal
App the audience
will have if they
own an apple
product.
Bold font for the
main title. Stand
out to the
audience over the
background.
Bold text for the
introduction stands
out over the
background to the
audience.
Text from lorem

Wiz Khalifa fans who are waiting for the
new album. This shows what the new
album design will look like.
12. Feedback 1
• What did you like about the product?
– The main font is effective as it stands out over the grey
background. This is because the font is bold and it have fills the
top of the page.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– You could of used more subheadings and pictures on the
magazine cover so it looks more professional and makes the
cover more eye catching.
13. Feedback 2
• What did you like about the product?
– The apple music and album promotion on the
spreadsheet is good as the apple music image and the
subtitle work together well on the page.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– More text other than subtitles could have been added
to page 3 on the spreadsheet, just for more extra
detail.
14. Feedback 3
• What did you like about the product?
– I like how the main images on both the spread sheet
and magazine cover fill most of the page. This is
effective because it will be the first thing the audience
see when they look at the magazine so they know
who and what the magazine is about straight away.
• What improvements could have been made to
the product?
– On the spreadsheet the page with the most text there
should be more colour.
15. Peer Feedback Summary
• What do you agree with from your peer
feedback?
– I agree that my main font is effective as it stands out
over the background. I agree that the main image on
the magazine cover stands out over everything else on
the page.
• What do you disagree with from your peer
feedback?
– I don’t think page 4 of my spread sheet would look
more appealing with more colour as it is supposed to
look plain and simple.
16. Peer Feedback Summary
I would add more subtitles and text to page 3 of my
spreadsheet as I only have images and Headings.
Adding more text would add more detail to the
page as it would make it look less plain.
Another change I would make is, I would add more
images, subheadings and text to the magazine
cover to add more detail and make the magazine
look more professional.
I would also add colour to my main title on my
spreadsheet, so it stands out over the background
to the audience.
