2. Initial Reaction
My initial reaction to doing this project was that
I don’t really know what to expect from this
because I have never done print or thought I
would do print so doing this will be a different
experience to me. But being able to choose
what you want to do it on, sounds good because
you can choose something you enjoy which will
make the project more enjoyable.

My layout would be similar
to the wavelength
magazine I showed on my
evaluation. This is because
I enjoy having a lot of
pictures to be seen.
This type of magazine
would be more for facts
and awareness with what's
happening with animals at
the moment. Include litter
and other things we can
change.
The layout would be
similar to the wavelength
magazine which has a
picture for the background
which I think would suit
this magazine because you
can see the animals clearly
while reading about them.I would talk about how the
music has changed over
the years or I would talk
about my favorite artists
and about their life.
The layout would be the
same as the wavelength
magazine.

The layout will be simple
but good to look at so that
when you read the
information on the
animals, you can clearly
see nice pictures of them.
Also having this simple
layout will make reading
the information easy and
clear so you understand
what you have read and for
what animal.
What will be in the
magazine ranges from facts
of the animal on that page
and how it is coping in the
modern day. Such as
extinction and litter
effecting their life.
Maps of where the animal
can be found will be in the
magazine as people like to
know where certain
animals are so they can
look out for them if they
ever go to a certain
country.

Is there any repetition in the images you have collected?
Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• The colours have a lot of blue/green in them as they are in the
ocean so having a bright text such as white would help
contrast with the dark blue or green so that it is easy to read.
The mood is mostly peaceful and the style is just making the
animals look as good as possible in their own habitat.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• This will influence my magazine as I am going to be using good
looking pictures for my whole background so that people can
see the animal fully when reading about them.

8. Schedule
WEEK OVERALL PLAN SPECIFIC TASKS
1 Research, Initial Response,
Audience Research
 Seeing what will work for my style of
magazine and which animals to base it
off of. And to see which audience will
enjoy this magazine the most.
2 Production Experiments,
Proposal, Planning
 Experiments will be putting the
research into action, as I will be seeing
if the ideas I have put together will
come out well.
3 Production  Will be producing the front cover and
the pages for the inside of the
magazine.
4 Production  Will be adding the text in my magazine
with all the information and facts to do
with the animals and how to keep them
from being harmed in the future.
5 Evaluation  Then I will evaluate to see if I was
successful with my magazine or not.
And to see if it ends up looking nice or
not.
