Research
Evaluation
Research Evaluation
 Give an overview of how you conducted your research. Discuss
the strengths and weaknesses of each method
 Product Research
It gives you ideas of the kinds of pictures already available to
people so you can make yours different or use ideas they
have used on a picture that may have a different background
or similar
 Questionnaires
You get an idea of the sort of things the audience would like
to see with simple answers so you can analyse it quickly.
It’s a limited response to the question being asked.
 Interviews
You can get more detail answers to the questions you need to
be answered
The person answering could go off subject and give you more
useless information then useful
Research Evaluation
 What sort of a response did you get?
I got a mixture of responses that gave me a wide range
of ideas for things I could take pictures of and that I
could do to edit the pictures I take to make my
portfolio a mixture of colours, setting and edits making
it stand out.
 How did you distribute your survey? Give an
advantage and a disadvantage
I posted it on the college notice website for the
students doing my course to fill out for me
An advantage was that I got my results back quickly so
could continue with evaluating them
A disadvantage was that I didn't have a wide range of
ages for my results so I can only base my work on the
results of a younger age group of people
