Initial Reaction • My initial reaction to this project was it would be difficult to create a story that engages the reader. I feel as though I will find designing the cover of the magazine much easier than designing the double page spread as I think I will be good at making a an eye catching cover with a good design and photograph on the front. • I am still not sure what my magazine is going to be about but I'm thinking I’ll do a fake interview for my magazine story.

Mood Board Analysis Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood • The font used for the magazine covers is very blocky. • There is a lot of black, white, red and blues. • The double page spreads use a lot of blacks, whites and yellows. How will your mood board influence your final product? • I think I am going to have a phot on the cover very similar to the covers of the GQ magazines.
Schedule WEEK OVERALL PLAN SPECIFIC TASKS 1 Research, Initial Response, Audience Research  Write about what I am planning to create and how I feel about the project.  Look at existing products with the sane target audience as my magazine. 2 Production Experiments, Proposal, Planning  Create a mock up of what I want my magazine pages to look like. 3 Production  Create the cover and double page spread. 4 Production  Write the articles and add all text to the cover and double page.  Any additional things that I think could be added and changes that could be made. 5 Evaluation  Write about my product and if it appeals to the target audience.

  • 2. Initial Reaction • My initial reaction to this project was it would be difficult to create a story that engages the reader. I feel as though I will find designing the cover of the magazine much easier than designing the double page spread as I think I will be good at making a an eye catching cover with a good design and photograph on the front. • I am still not sure what my magazine is going to be about but I'm thinking I’ll do a fake interview for my magazine story.
  • 6. Mood Board Analysis Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood • The font used for the magazine covers is very blocky. • There is a lot of black, white, red and blues. • The double page spreads use a lot of blacks, whites and yellows. How will your mood board influence your final product? • I think I am going to have a phot on the cover very similar to the covers of the GQ magazines.

Schedule WEEK OVERALL PLAN SPECIFIC TASKS 1 Research, Initial Response, Audience Research  Write about what I am planning to create and how I feel about the project.  Look at existing products with the sane target audience as my magazine. 2 Production Experiments, Proposal, Planning  Create a mock up of what I want my magazine pages to look like. 3 Production  Create the cover and double page spread. 4 Production  Write the articles and add all text to the cover and double page.  Any additional things that I think could be added and changes that could be made. 5 Evaluation  Write about my product and if it appeals to the target audience.
