2. Initial Reaction
• When we started this I was trying to think of different
idea. The best ones where:
– Photography
– Gaming
– Fashion
– Film
• I then started thinking about the content that I could
include in each idea and that helped narrow it down to
the best ideas.
• Finally I started to think about images that I could take
for each idea and by doing that I could decide which
pictures I thought would be best for me to take.
7. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
• On my mood board for the content, there is some repetition in the
sense of that the covers have one main image. They are also fairly
minimalistic. They also are all clear and they use buzz words such as
‘free’ to interest the audience more. I have also picked out a mood
board that I put colour pallets on so I could decide between bright
or dark colours.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• I feel that from my mood board, with the content I will keep it a
little minimalistic as I feel that this will keep it professional and tidy.
I also want to keep it with one main image for the audience to focus
on. I will also use some buzz words and will tell the audience a little
about what's in the the magazine. With the colours I will want to
have a mix between bright and dark. This will allow certain words to
pop out
