The document provides an overview of the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) codes for advertising communications. It outlines six key codes regarding compliance with laws, identifying advertising, misleading claims, harm and offense, protecting children, and obtaining permission for using images of people. The codes are meant to ensure advertising is legal, honest, and suitable for audiences which may include children.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

written down what you are going to have
on the advert and why

explain

because it give me something to look back
at for what I need to put on the advert

pictures ready to use

not be able to find a picture you want to use
• Did you like using this method? Why? Yes
because if you find the pictures you want it
makes the process of making the advert
faster

already have the colours and fonts to use

shade or colour may not fit with the design
• Did you like using this method? Why? you
don’t have to look through all the fonts you
have them picked already

because I can look back at it when making
the final product
12. Brainstorm

come up with instead of thinking on the spot

Yes because it gives me and idea of how the

because I found some of the questions hard to
understand
14. Initial Reaction
You must create a pixel based animation
game for coca cola
I have to use Photoshop to create an
short animation like a game to advertise
coca cola. I have to do it in pixels.
I think this could be challenging but I
think it will be a good way to get used to
Photoshop
15. Initial Reaction
• Strengths of using this method
It shows if you understand what you're supposed to
be doing
• Weaknesses of using this method
It doesn’t give and in-depth explanation on what
you're supposed o be doing to create it
• Did you like using this method? Why?
No because I didn't’t understand what I had to do
and also it didn’t tell me about having to use the
pencil to draw and things about putting the game
together
17. Sketches
• Strengths of using this method
You have the ideas all ready to use on for the game
• Weaknesses of using this method
• The things you draw may not work well with
everything else when putting the game together
• Did you like using this method? Why?
Yes because you can think about the objects you
want to use and have a rough idea how you'd like
the game to look
18. Formal Proposal
• Strengths of using this method
It shows people the message of your game and
shows you have stuck to the ASA rules
• Weaknesses of using this method
You may decide to change your idea later on
• Did you like using this method? Why?
No because for me the questions are hard to
explain writing them down instead of speaking
one to one.
