In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
1. Blessed is He who has
sent down the Criterion
upon His servant that he
may be a warner to all
mankind.

2. He is to whom belongs the
sovereignty of the heavens
and the earth, and who has
not taken a son, nor there is
a partner to Him in the
sovereignty, and He has
created every thing, then has
ordained its destiny.

ÇÚö‘F{$#uρóΟs9uρõ‹Ï‚−Gtƒ#Y‰s9uρöΝs9uρ
⎯ä3tƒ…ã&©!Ô7ƒÎŸ°’ÎûÅ7ù=ßϑø9$#t,n=yzuρ
¨≅à2&™ó©x«…çνu‘£‰s)sù#ƒÏ‰ø)s?∩⊄∪
3. And they have taken
other than Him gods
which do not create
anything and they are
(themselves) created, and
(#ρä‹sƒªB$#uρ⎯ÏΒÿ⎯ÏμÏΡρߊZπyγÏ9#u™ω
šχθà)è=øƒs†$↔ø‹x©öΝèδuρ
šχθà)n=øƒä†Ÿωuρšχθä3Î=ôϑtƒ

2. they do not possess for
themselves any harm, nor
benefit, and they do not
possess (any power) over
death, nor life, nor
resurrection.
öΝÎγÅ¡àΡL{#uŸÑŸωuρ$YèøtΡŸωuρ
tβθä3Î=ôϑtƒ$Y?öθtΒŸωuρZο4θu‹ymŸωuρ

4. And those who
disbelieve say: “This
(Quran) is not except a
falsehood that he has
invented, and another people
have helped him with it.”
So certainly, they have
produced an injustice and
a lie.

5. And they say: “Legends
of the ancient people,
which he has written down,
so they are dictated to him
morning and evening.”

$yγt7oKtGò2$#}‘ÏSsù4’n?ôϑè?Ïμø‹n=tã

6. Say: “This has been sent
down by Him, who knows
the secret within the heavens
and the earth. Indeed, He is
All Forgiving, All Merciful.”

ÏN≡uθ≈yϑ¡¡9$#ÇÚö‘F{$#uρ4…çμ¯ΡÎ)

7. And they say: “What is
this messenger that he eats
(#θä9$s%uρÉΑ$tΒ#x‹≈yδÉΑθß™§9$#

3. food and he walks in the
markets. Why was not
sent down to him an
angel, so he would be a
warner with him.”
ã≅à2ù'tƒuΘ$yè©Ü9$#©Å´ôϑtƒuρ†Îû
É−#uθó™F{$# Iωöθs9tΑÌ“Ρé&Ïμø‹s9Î)Òn=tΒ
šχθä3uŠsù…çμyètΒ#·ƒÉ‹tΡ∩∠∪
8. “Or (why is not) is
bestowed on him a treasure,
or (why) does he (not) have
a garden that he may eat
from it.” And the
wrongdoers say: “You do
not follow but a man
bewitched.”

9. See, how they bring
forth similitudes for you, so
they have gone astray, then
they cannot find a way.

Ÿ≅≈sWøΒF{$#(#θ=ŸÒsùŸξsùtβθãè‹ÏÜtGó¡o„

10. Blessed is He who, if
He willed, could have made
for you better than that,
gardens underneath which
rivers flow, and He could
make for you palaces.

4. 11. But they have denied
the Hour. And We have
prepared for those who
deny the Hour a blazing
Fire.

⎯yϑÏ9z>¤‹Ÿ2Ïπtã$¡¡9$$Î/#·Ïèy™

12. When it (the Fire) sees
them from a distant place,
they will hear its raging and
roaring.

$oλm;$Zà•‹tós?#ZÏùy—uρ∩⊇⊄∪
13. And when they are
thrown therein, a narrow
place, bound in chains, they
will call therein for death.

14. (It will be said): “Do
not call today for one
death, and call for many
deaths.”
ω(#θããô‰s?tΠöθu‹ø9$##Y‘θç6èO#Y‰Ïn≡uρ
(#θãã÷Š$#uρ#Y‘θç6èO#ZÏVŸ2∩⊇⊆∪
15. Say: “Is that better or
the Garden of Eternity
which is promised to the
righteous.” It will be their
recompense and the final
destination.

©ÉL©9$#y‰Ïããρšχθà)−Gßϑø9$#4ôMtΡ%x.

16. For them will be
therein whatever they desire,
öΝçλ°;$yγŠÏù$tΒšχρâ™!$t±o„t⎦⎪Ï$Î#≈yz4

5. abiding forever. It is upon
your Lord a promise that
must be fulfilled.
šχ%x.4’n?tãy7În/u‘#Y‰ôãuρZωθä↔ó¡¨Β
∩⊇∉∪
17. And on the Day He
will gather them and that
which they worship other
than Allah. Then He will
say: “Did you mislead
these servants of Mine, or
did they (themselves) stray
from the path.”
tΠöθtƒuρöΝèδãà±óstƒ$tΒuρšχρ߉ç7÷ètƒ
⎯ÏΒÈβρߊ«!$#ãΑθà)u‹sùóΟçFΡr&u™
÷Λä⎢ù=n=ôÊr&“ÏŠ$t6ÏãÏ™Iωàσ¯≈yδ÷Πr&öΝèδ
(#θ=|ÊŸ≅‹Î6¡¡9$#∩⊇∠∪
18. They will say: “Glorified
be You, it was not right for
us that we would take other
than You any guardian. But
You provided comforts (of
life) for them and their
forefathers, until they forgot
the admonition. And they
became a people ruined.”

!$uΖs9βr&x‹Ï‚−G¯Ρ⎯ÏΒšÏΡρߊô⎯ÏΒ

19. So certainly, they (false
gods) will deny you in what
you say, then you will not be
able to avert (punishment),
nor get help. And whoever
does wrong among you, We
shall make him taste a great
punishment.

$yϑsùšχθãèŠÏÜtFó¡n@$]ù÷|ÀŸωuρ

6. 20. And We did not
send before you (O
Muhammad) any among
the messengers, but indeed,
they verily ate food and
walked in the markets.
And We have made
some of you a trial for
others. Will you be
steadfast, and your Lord
is ever Seer.
!$tΒuρ$oΨù=y™ö‘r&šn=ö6s%z⎯ÏΒ
š⎥⎫Î=y™ößϑø9$#HωÎ)öΝßγ¯ΡÎ)

tβ%Ÿ2uρy7•/u‘#ZÅÁt/∩⊄⊃∪
21. And those who do not
expect the meeting with Us
say: “Why are angels not
sent down to us, or (why) do
we (not) see our Lord.”
Certainly, they have become
arrogant within themselves
and are scornful with great
insolence.

$tΡu™!$s)Ï9Iωöθs9tΑÌ“Ρé&$uΖøŠn=tã
èπs3Íׯ≈n=yϑø9$#÷ρr&3“ttΡ$oΨ−/u‘3ωs)s9
(#ρçy9õ3tGó™$#þ’ÎûöΝÎγÅ¡àΡr&öθtGtãuρ
#vθçGãã#ZÎ7x.∩⊄⊇∪
22. The day when they will
see the angels, there will
not be rejoicing that day for
the criminals, and they
(angels) will say: “A barrier,
forbidden (to you).”
tΠöθtƒtβ÷ρttƒsπs3Íׯ≈n=yϑø9$#Ÿω3“uô³ç/
7‹Í×tΒöθtƒt⎦⎫ÏΒÌôfßϑù=Ïj9tβθä9θà)tƒuρ
#ôfÏm#Y‘θàføt¤Χ∩⊄⊄∪
23. And We shall turn to
what they have done of
!$uΖøΒωs%uρ4’n<Î)$tΒ(#θè=Ïϑtãô⎯ÏΒ9≅yϑtã

7. deeds, then make them as
scattered dust.
çμ≈oΨù=yèyfsù[™!$t6yδ#·‘θèWΨ¨Β∩⊄⊂∪
24. The dwellers of Paradise
on that Day have the best
abode, and the fairest resting
place.

#vs)tGó¡•Βß⎯|¡ômr&uρWξŠÉ)tΒ∩⊄⊆∪
25. And the day when the
heaven with the clouds will
split open and the angels will
be sent down in successive
descent.
tΠöθtƒuρß,¤)t±n@â™!$uΚ¡¡9$#ÄΝ≈yϑtóø9$$Î/
tΑÌh“çΡuρèπs3Íׯ≈n=yϑø9$#¸ξƒÍ”∴s?∩⊄∈∪
26. The sovereignty on that
Day will be the true,
belonging to the Beneficent.
And it will be a harsh Day
for the disbelievers.
à7ù=ßϑø9$#>‹Í≥tΒöθtƒ‘,ysø9$#Ç⎯≈uΗ÷q§=Ï94
tβ%Ÿ2uρ$·Βöθtƒ’n?tãt⎦⎪ÍÏ≈s3ø9$#
#ZÅ¡tã∩⊄∉∪
27. And on that Day, the
wrongdoer will bite on his
hands, he will say: “Would
that I had taken a way along
with the Messenger.”
tΠöθtƒuρÙyètƒãΝÏ9$©à9$#4’n?tãÏμ÷ƒy‰tƒ
ãΑθà)tƒ©Í_tFø‹n=≈tƒßNõ‹sƒªB$#yìtΒ
ÉΑθß™§9$#Wξ‹Î6y™∩⊄∠∪
28. “O, woe to me, would
that I had not taken so
and so as a friend.”
4©tLn=÷ƒuθ≈tƒ©Í_tFø‹s9óΟs9õ‹ÏƒªBr&$ºΡŸξèù
WξŠÎ=yz∩⊄∇∪

8. 29. “Certainly, he led me
astray from the reminder
after when it had reached
me. And Satan was ever to
man, a betrayer.”

’ÎΤu™!$y_3šχ%Ÿ2uρß⎯≈sÜø‹¤±9$#
Ç⎯≈|¡ΣM∼Ï9Zωρä‹s{∩⊄®∪
30. And the Messenger will
say: “O my Lord, indeed my
people had taken this Quran
as (an object) abandoned.”
tΑ$s%uρãΑθß™§9$#Éb>t≈tƒ¨βÎ)’ÍΓöθs%
(#ρä‹sƒªB$##x‹≈yδtβ#u™öà)ø9$##Y‘θàfôγtΒ
∩⊂⊃∪
31. And thus have We made
for every prophet an enemy
from among the criminals.
And sufficient is your Lord
as a guide and a helper.

z⎯ÏiΒt⎦⎫ÏΒÌôfßϑø9$#34’s∀x.uρy7În/tÎ/

32. And those who disbelieve
say: “Why has not the
(entire) Quran been sent
down to him all at once.”
Thus (it is), that We may
strengthen thereby your
heart. And We have revealed
it gradually, in stages.
tΑ$s%uρt⎦⎪Ï%©!$#(#ρãxx.Ÿωöθs9tΑÌh“çΡ
Ïμø‹n=tããβ#u™öà)ø9$#'s#÷ΗädZοy‰Ïn≡uρ4
y7Ï9≡x‹Ÿ2|MÎm7s[ãΖÏ9⎯ÏμÎ/x8yŠ#xσèù(
çμ≈oΨù=¨?u‘uρWξ‹Ï?ös?∩⊂⊄∪
33. And no similitude do
they bring to you, but We
Ÿωuρy7tΡθè?ù'tƒ@≅sVyϑÎ/ωÎ)y7≈oΨ÷∞Å_

9. bring to you the truth and
the better explanation.
Èd,ysø9$$Î/z⎯|¡ômr&uρ#·Å¡øs?∩⊂⊂∪
34. Those who will be
gathered on their faces to
Hell, those are the worst in
plight and farther astray
from the path.
t⎦⎪Ï%©!$#šχρç|³øtä†4’n?tãöΝÎγÏδθã_ãρ
4’n<Î)zΝ¨Ψyγy_šÍׯ≈s9'ρé&@x©$ZΡ%s3¨Β
‘≅|Êr&uρWξ‹Î6y™∩⊂⊆∪
35. And certainly, We gave
Moses the Scripture, and
We appointed with him his
brother Aaron as a
counselor.
ô‰s)s9uρ$oΨ÷s?#u™©y›θãΒ|=≈tFÅ6ø9$#
$oΨù=yèy_uρÿ…çμyètΒçν%s{r&šχρã≈yδ
#ƒÎ—uρ∩⊂∈∪
36. Then We said: “Go
both of you to the people
who have denied Our
signs.” Then We destroyed
them, a total destruction.
$oΨù=à)sù!$t7yδøŒ$#’n<Î)ÏΘöθs)ø9$#š⎥⎪Ï%©!$#

37. And the people of Noah,
when they denied the
messengers, We drowned
them and We made them
a sign for mankind. And
We have prepared for the
wrongdoers a painful
punishment.
tΠöθs%uρ8yθçΡ$£ϑ©9(#θç/¤‹Ÿ2Ÿ≅ß™”9$#
öΝßγ≈oΨø%tøîr&öΝßγ≈oΨù=yèy_uρĨ$¨Ψ=Ï9Zπtƒ#u™

$VϑŠÏ9r&∩⊂∠∪

10. 38. And the Aad and the
Thamud and the companions
of the Rass, and many
generations in between them.
#YŠ%tæuρ(#yŠθßϑrOuρ|=≈ptõ¾r&uρÄb¨§9$#
$OΡρãè%uρt⎦÷⎫t/šÏ9≡sŒ#ZÏVx.∩⊂∇∪
39. And each, We presented
to them examples (as
warnings) and each (of
them) We destroyed to utter
ruin.
yξà2uρ$uΖö/uŸÑã&s!Ÿ≅≈sWøΒF{$#(
yξà2uρ$tΡ÷£9s?#ZÎ6÷Gs?∩⊂®∪
40. And certainly, they
have passed by the town
which was rained with an
evil rain. Can then it be
that they have not seen
it. But they are not
expecting for resurrection.
ô‰s)s9uρ(#öθs?r&’n?tãÏπtƒös)ø9$#û©ÉL©9$#
ôNtÏÜøΒé&tsÜtΒÏ™öθ¡¡9$#4öΝn=sùr&
(#θçΡθà6tƒ$yγtΡ÷ρttƒ4ö≅t/(#θçΡ$Ÿ2
Ÿωšχθã_ötƒ#Y‘θà±èΣ∩⊆⊃∪
41. And when they see you,
(O Muhammad) they take
you not except as a mockery.
(Saying): “Is this the one
whom Allah has sent as a
messenger.”
#sŒÎ)uρx8÷ρr&u‘βÎ)y7tΡρä‹Ï‚−GtƒωÎ)
#·ρâ“èδ#x‹≈yδr&“Ï%©!$#y]yèt/ª!$#
»ωθß™u‘∩⊆⊇∪
42. “He had almost led us
astray from our gods, if it
was not that we had
remained firm with regard
to (worshipping) them.” And
βÎ)yŠ$Ÿ2$oΨ=ÅÒã‹s9ô⎯tã$uΖÏFyγÏ9#u™
Iωöθs9χr&$tΡ÷y9|¹$yγøŠn=tæ4

11. soon they will know when
they see the punishment,
who is farther astray from
the path.
|’ôθy™uρtβθßϑn=ôètƒš⎥⎫Ïmtβ÷ρttƒ
z>#x‹yèø9$#ô⎯tΒ‘≅|Êr&¸ξ‹Î6y™∩⊆⊄∪
43. Have you seen him who
has taken his desire as his
god. Then would you be
responsible for him.
|M÷ƒu™u‘r&Ç⎯tΒx‹sƒªB$#…çμyγ≈s9Î)çμ1uθyδ
|MΡr'sùr&ãβθä3s?Ïμø‹n=tã¸ξ‹Å2uρ∩⊆⊂∪
44. Or do you think that
most of them hear or
understand. They are not
except like the cattle. But
they are even farther astray
from the path.

šχθãèyϑó¡o„÷ρr&šχθè=É)÷ètƒ4÷βÎ)
öΝèδωÎ)ÄΝ≈yè÷ΡF{$%x.(ö≅t/öΝèδ‘≅|Êr&
¸ξ‹Î6y™∩⊆⊆∪
45. Have you not turned
your vision toward your
Lord, how He lengthens out
the shadow. And if He
willed, He could have made
it stationary. Then We made
the sun a guide upon it.
öΝs9r&ts?4’n<Î)y7În/u‘y#ø‹x.£‰tΒ¨≅Ïjà9$#
öθs9uρu™!$x©…çμn=yèyfs9$YΨÏ.$y™¢ΟèO
$uΖù=yèy_}§ôϑ¤±9$#Ïμø‹n=tãWξ‹Ï9yŠ∩⊆∈∪
46. Then We withdraw it
unto Us, a gradual
withdrawal.
¢ΟèOçμ≈uΖôÒt6s%$uΖøŠs9Î)$VÒö6s%#ZÅ¡o„
∩⊆∉∪

12. 47. And He it is who has
made for you the night as a
garment, and the sleep as a
repose, and He has made the
day as the return to life.
uθèδuρ“Ï%©!$#Ÿ≅yèy_ãΝä3s9Ÿ≅øŠ©9$#
$U™$t7Ï9tΠöθ¨Ζ9$#uρ$Y?$t7ß™Ÿ≅yèy_uρ
u‘$pκ¨]9$##Y‘θà±èΣ∩⊆∠∪
48. And He it is who sends
the winds as heralds of good
tidings, before His mercy
(rainfall), and We send down
from the sky pure water.
uθèδuρü“Ï%©!$#Ÿ≅y™ö‘r&yx≈tƒÌh9$##Mô³ç0
š⎥÷⎫t/ô“y‰tƒ⎯ÏμÏGyϑômu‘4$uΖø9t“Ρr&uρ
z⎯ÏΒÏ™!$yϑ¡¡9$#[™!$tΒ#Y‘θßγsÛ∩⊆∇∪
49. That We may bring
to life with it the dead
land, and We give it to
drink to those We created,
numerous livestock and
mankind.
}‘Å↵ósãΖÏj9⎯ÏμÎ/Zοt$ù#t/$GøŠ¨Β…çμu‹É)ó¡èΣuρ
$£ϑÏΒ!$oΨø)n=yz$Vϑ≈yè÷Ρr&¢©Å›$tΡr&uρ
#ZÏVŸ2∩⊆®∪
50. And certainly, We have
repeated it among them that
they may remember, then
most of the people decline
except ingratitude.

51. And if We had willed,
We could certainly have
raised in each township a
warner.
öθs9uρ$oΨø⁄Ï©$oΨ÷Wyèt7s9’ÎûÈe≅à27πtƒös%
#ƒÉ‹¯Ρ∩∈⊇∪

13. 52. So do not obey the
disbelievers, and strive
against them with it (Quran),
the great striving.
ŸξsùÆìÏÜè?š⎥⎪ÍÏ≈x6ø9$#
Νèδô‰Îγ≈y_uρ⎯ÏμÎ/#YŠ$yγÅ_#ZÎ7Ÿ2

53. And He it is who
has let loose the two
seas, this one palatable
sweet, and the other bitter
salty, and He has set between
them a partition, and an
insurmountable barrier.

#x‹≈yδÒ>õ‹tãÔN#tèù#x‹≈yδuρìxù=ÏΒ

54. And He it is who has
created man from water,
then has appointed for him
kindred by blood and
kindred by marriage. And
your Lord is All Powerful.

55. And they worship other
than Allah that which does
not benefit them, nor harm
them. And the disbeliever is
a helper (to Satan) against
his Lord.

56. And We have not sent
you except as a bearer of
good tidings and a warner.

14. 57. Say: “I do not ask
of you for this any
recompense, except that
whoever wills, that he may
take a path to his Lord.”

58. And trust upon him
who is Ever Living, who does
not die. And glorify His
praise. And sufficient is He
to be aware of the sins of His
servants.

59. He who created the
heavens and the earth and
whatever is between them in
six days. Then He
established (Himself) on the
Throne. The Beneficent, so
ask about Him anyone well
informed.

$tΒuρ$yϑßγuΖ÷t/’ÎûÏπ−GÅ™5Θ$−ƒr&¢ΟèO
3“uθtGó™$#’n?tãĸöyèø9$#4ß⎯≈yϑôm§9$#
ö≅t↔ó¡sù⎯ÏμÎ/#ZÎ6yz∩∈®∪
60. And when it is said to
them: “Prostrate to the
Beneficent.” They say: “And
what is the Beneficent. Shall
we fall down in prostration
to that which you command
us.” And it increases them in

15. 61. Blessed is He who has
placed in the heaven
mansions of the stars, and
placed therein a great lamp
and a moon giving light.

62. And He it is who has
appointed the night and
the day in succession, for
him who desires that he
should remember, or desires
thankfulness.

63. And the slaves of the
Beneficent are those who
walk upon the earth
humbly. And when the
ignorant people address
them, they say: “Peace.”

tβθà±ôϑtƒ’n?tãÇÚö‘F{$#$ZΡöθyδ#sŒÎ)uρ

64. And those who spend
night before their Lord,
prostrating and standing.

#Y‰¤fß™$Vϑ≈uŠÏ%uρ∩∉⊆∪
65. And those who say:
“Our Lord, avert from us
the punishment of Hell.
Indeed, its punishment is
anguish.”

$¨Ψtãz>#x‹tãtΛ©⎝yγy_(χÎ)

16. 66. “Indeed it is evil as an
abode and as a place to
dwell.”
$yγ¯ΡÎ)ôNu™!$y™#vs)tGó¡ãΒ$YΒ$s)ãΒuρ∩∉∉∪
67. And those who when
they spend are neither
extravagant, nor miserly,
and between those (two
extremes) there is a medium
(way).

öΝs9uρ(#ρçäIø)tƒtβ%Ÿ2uρš⎥÷⎫t/

68. And those who do not
call upon along with Allah
any other god, nor kill a
soul, which Allah has
forbidden, except in (course
of) justice, nor commit
adultery. And he who does
this shall meet the penalty.

69. His punishment shall be
doubled on the Day of
Resurrection, and he shall
abide therein humiliated.

Ïπyϑ≈uŠÉ)ø9$#ô$é#øƒs†uρ⎯ÏμŠÏù$ºΡ$yγãΒ∩∉®∪
70. Except those who
repent and believe and
do righteous deeds, then
for those Allah will
replace their evil deeds
with good deeds. And
ωÎ)⎯tΒz>$s?š∅tΒ#u™uρŸ≅Ïϑtãuρ
Wξyϑtã$[sÎ=≈|¹šÍׯ≈s9'ρé'sùãΑÏd‰t6ãƒ

17. Allah is Oft Forgiving,
Merciful.
ª!$##Y‘θàxî$VϑŠÏm§‘∩∠⊃∪
71. And whoever repents
and does righteous deeds,
then indeed, he repents
towards Allah with true
repentance.

ÛUθçGtƒ’n<Î)«!$#$/$tGtΒ∩∠⊇∪
72. And those who do not
bear witness to falsehood
and when they pass by what
is vain, pass by like dignified
people.

#sŒÎ)uρ(#ρ“sΔÈθøó¯=9$$Î/(#ρ“sΔ$YΒ#tÅ2

73. And those, when
they are reminded of the
revelations of their Lord,
do not fall at them deaf
and blind.

óΟÎγÎn/u‘óΟs9(#ρ”σs†$yγøŠn=tæ$tϑß¹

74. And those who say:
“Our Lord, grant us among
our wives and our children
the comfort of our eyes,
and make us leaders for the
righteous.”

75. Such are those who will
be rewarded with high
šÍׯ≈s9'ρé&šχ÷ρt“øgä†sπsùöäóø9$#$yϑÎ/

18. palaces because of their
patience. And they will be
welcomed wherein with
greetings and salutations.

76. Abiding eternally
therein, an excellent abode
and resting place.

77. Say: “What would My
Lord care for you if you do
not invoke Him. Then
indeed, you have denied,
so soon will be the
inevitable (punishment).”
