In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
1. Woe to those who give
less in weight.
×≅÷ƒuρt⎦⎫ÏÏesÜßϑù=Ïj9∩⊇∪
2. Those who, when they
take by measure from
people, take in full.
t⎦⎪Ï%©!$##sŒÎ)(#θä9$tGø.$#’n?tãĨ$¨Ζ9$#
tβθèùöθtGó¡o„∩⊄∪
3. And when they give by
measure or weigh for them,
they cause loss.

4. Do such (people) not
think that they will be
raised again.

5. On a Great Day.
BΘöθu‹Ï98Λ⎧Ïàtã∩∈∪
6. The Day when mankind
shall stand before the Lord
of the worlds.
tΠöθtƒãΠθà)tƒâ¨$¨Ζ9$#Éb>tÏ9t⎦⎫ÏΗs>≈yèø9$#

2. 7. Nay, indeed, the
record of the wicked is in
sijjeen.

8. And what do you know
what sijjeen is.
!$tΒuρy71u‘÷Šr&$tΒ×⎦⎫Ång¾∩∇∪
9. (It is) a written record.
Ò=≈tGÏ.×Πθè%ó£Δ∩®∪
10. Woe that Day to the
deniers.
×≅÷ƒuρ7‹Í×tΒöθtƒt⎦⎫Î/Éj‹s3Þϑù=Ïj9∩⊇⊃∪
11. Those who deny the
Day of Recompense.
t⎦⎪Ï%©!$#tβθç/Éj‹s3ãƒÇΠöθu‹Î/È⎦⎪Ïe$!$#∩⊇⊇∪
12. And none denies it
except every sinful
transgressor.
$tΒuρÜ>Éj‹s3ãƒÿ⎯ÏμÎ/ωÎ)‘≅ä.>‰tG÷èãΒAΟŠÏOr&
∩⊇⊄∪
13. When Our verses are
recited to him, he says:
“Tales of the ancient
peoples.”
#sŒÎ)4’n?÷Gè?Ïμø‹n=tã$uΖçF≈tƒ#u™tΑ$s%çÏÜ≈y™r&
t⎦⎫Ï9¨ρF{$#∩⊇⊂∪
14. Nay, but upon their
hearts is rust of that which
they have earned.
ξx.(2ö≅t/tβ#u‘4’n?tãΝÍκÍ5θè=è%$¨Β(#θçΡ%x.
tβθç6Å¡õ3tƒ∩⊇⊆∪
15. Nay, indeed, from (the
mercy of) their Lord on that
Day, they shall be debarred.

3. 16. Then surely they shall
(enter to) burn in Hellfire.

17. Then it will be said:
“This is that which you used
to deny.”
§ΝèOãΑ$s)ãƒ#x‹≈yδ“Ï%©!$#Λä⎢Ψä.⎯ÏμÎ/
tβθç/Éj‹s3è?∩⊇∠∪
18. Nay, indeed, the
record of the righteous is in
illiyeen.

š⎥⎫ÍhŠÏk=Ïæ∩⊇∇∪
19. And what do you know
what illiyuun is.
!$tΒuρy71u‘÷Šr&$tΒtβθ•‹Ïk=Ïã∩⊇®∪
20. (It is) a written
record.
Ò=≈tGÏ.×Πθè%ó£Δ∩⊄⊃∪
21. It is witnessed by those
brought near (to Allah).
çν߉pκô¶tƒtβθç/§s)çRùQ$#∩⊄⊇∪
22. Indeed, the righteous
shall be in delight.
¨βÎ)u‘#tö/F{$#’Å∀s9AΟ‹ÏètΡ∩⊄⊄∪
23. On high couches they
shall be looking.
’n?tãÅ7Í←!#u‘F{$#tβρãÝàΖtƒ∩⊄⊂∪
24. You shall recognize in
their faces the radiance of
delight.
ß∃Í÷ès?’ÎûóΟÎγÏδθã_ãρnοuôØtΡÉΟŠÏè¨Ζ9$#
∩⊄⊆∪
25. They shall be given to
drink of a pure wine, sealed.
tβöθs)ó¡ç„⎯ÏΒ9,‹Ïm§‘BΘθçG÷‚¨Β∩⊄∈∪
26. Whose seal is musk. And
for this let them strive, those
who want to strive.

4. 27. And that (wine) is the
mixture of Tasneem.

28. A spring from which
those near (to Allah) shall
drink.
$YΖøŠtãÜ>uô³o„$pκÍ5šχθç/§s)ßϑø9$#∩⊄∇∪
29. Indeed, those who
committed crimes used to
laugh at those who believed.
¨βÎ)š⎥⎪Ï%©!$#(#θãΒtô_r&(#θçΡ%x.z⎯ÏΒ
t⎦⎪Ï%©!$#(#θãΖtΒ#u™tβθä3ysôÒtƒ∩⊄®∪
30. And when they passed by
them, they would wink at
one another.
#sŒÎ)uρ(#ρ”tΒöΝÍκÍ5tβρâ“tΒ$tótGtƒ∩⊂⊃∪
31. And when they
returned to their own folk,
they would return jesting.
#sŒÎ)uρ(#þθç7n=s)Ρ$##’n<Î)ÞΟÎγÎ=÷δr&(#θç7n=s)Ρ$#
t⎦⎫ÎγÅ3sù∩⊂⊇∪
32. And when they saw
them, they would say:
“Surely, these are (the
people) gone astray.”
#sŒÎ)uρöΝèδ÷ρr&u‘(#þθä9$s%¨βÎ)Ï™Iωàσ¯≈yδ
tβθ—9!$ŸÒs9∩⊂⊄∪
33. And they had not been
sent to be guardians over
them.

34. So today those who
believed are laughing at the
disbelievers.

35. On high couches they
shall be looking.

5. 36. Have the disbelievers
(not) been duly rewarded for
what they used to do.
