1. Saud. By the Quran, full of
admonition.

2. But those who disbelieve
are in false pride and
dissension.

3. How many a generation
have We destroyed before
them, so they cried out, and it
was no longer a time for
escape.

4. And they wonder that a
warner has come to them
from among themselves, and
the disbelievers say: “This is
a wizard, a liar.”

5. “Has he made the gods
One God. Indeed, this is an Ÿ≅yèy_r&sπoλÎ;Fψ$#$Yγ≈s9Î)#´‰Ïn≡uρ(¨βÎ)

2. astounding thing.” #x‹≈yδí™ó©y´s9Ò>$yfãã∩∈∪
6. And the leaders among
them went about (saying):
“That go on, and remain
patient over your gods.
Indeed, this is a thing
intended (against you).”

7. “We have not heard of this
among the people of latter
days. This is not but an
invention.”

÷βÎ)!#x‹≈yδωÎ)î,≈n=ÏG÷z$#∩∠∪
8. “Has the reminder been
sent down to him from
among us.” But they are in
doubt about My reminder,
But they have not yet tasted
My punishment.

öΛèε’Îû7e7x©⎯ÏiΒ“Ìø.ÏŒ(≅t/$£ϑ©9

9. Or do they have the
treasures of the mercy of
your Lord, the All Mighty,
the Bestower.
ôΘr&ó/èφy‰ΨÏãß⎦É⎩!#t“yzÏπuΗ÷qu‘y7În/u‘
Í“ƒÍ“yèø9$#É>$¨δuθø9$#∩®∪
10. Or is theirs the dominion
of the heavens and the earth
and whatever is between
them. Then let them ascend
up through (any) means (to
the heavens).
ôΘr&Οßγs9à7ù=•ΒÏN≡uθ≈yϑ¡¡9$#
ÇÚö‘F{$#uρ$tΒuρ$yϑåκs]÷t/((#θà)s?÷zù=sù
’ÎûÉ=≈t6ó™F{$#∩⊇⊃∪

3. 11. A small host, that (will
be) defeated there, from
among the factions (of
disbelievers).
Ó‰Ζã_$¨ΒšÏ9$uΖèδ×Πρâ“ôγtΒz⎯ÏiΒ
É>#t“ômF{$#∩⊇⊇∪
12. The people of Noah
denied before them, and
Aad, and Pharaoh of the
stakes.
ôMt/¤‹x.öΝßγn=ö6s%ãΠöθs%8yθçΡ׊%tæuρ
ãβöθtãöÏùuρρèŒÏŠ$s?÷ρF{$#∩⊇⊄∪
13. And Thamud, and the
people of Lot, and the
dwellers of the wood. those
were the factions.
ߊθßϑrOuρãΠöθs%uρ7Þθä9Ü=≈ptõ¾r&uρ
Ïπs3ø‹t↔ø94y7Íׯ≈s9'ρé&Ü>#t“ômF{$#∩⊇⊂∪
14. Not one (of them) but
denied the messengers, so My
penalty was justified.
βÎ)<≅ä.ωÎ)z>¤‹Ÿ2Ÿ≅ß™”9$#
¨,yssùÉ>$s)Ïã∩⊇⊆∪
15. And these (disbelievers)
do not await but one shout,
for it there will not be any
delay.
$tΒuρãÝàΖtƒÏ™Iωàσ¯≈yδωÎ)Zπysø‹|¹
Zοy‰Ïn≡uρ$¨Β$yγs9⎯ÏΒ5−#uθsù∩⊇∈∪
16. And they say: “Our
Lord, hasten to us our fate
before the Day of
Reckoning.”

Ÿ≅ö7s%ÏΘöθtƒÉ>$|¡Ïtø:$#∩⊇∉∪
17. Be patient over what they
say, and remember Our slave
David, a man of might.
Indeed, He was ever turning
÷É9ô¹$#4’n?tã$tΒtβθä9θà)tƒöä.øŒ$#uρ
$tΡy‰ö7tãyŠ…ãρ#yŠ#sŒÏ‰÷ƒF{$#(ÿ…çμ¯ΡÎ)

4. in repentance (toward Allah). ë>#¨ρr&∩⊇∠∪
18. Indeed, We subjected the
mountains to hymn praises
with him at nightfall and
sunrise.
$¯ΡÎ)$tΡö¤‚y™tΑ$t7Ågø:$#…çμyètΒ
z⎯ósÎm7|¡ç„Äc©Å´yèø9$$Î/É−#uõ°M}$#uρ∩⊇∇∪
19. And (so did) the birds
assembled. All turning to
Him.
uö©Ü9$#uρZοu‘θà±øtxΧ(@≅ä.ÿ…ã&©!Ò>#¨ρr&

20. And We made his
kingdom strong and gave him
wisdom and decisive speech.

sπyϑõ3Åsø9$#Ÿ≅óÁsùuρÉ>$sÜσø:$#∩⊄⊃∪
21. And has there come to
you the news of the litigants.
When they climbed over the
wall into the royal chamber.

22. When they entered to
David, he was terrified of
them. They said: “Do not
fear. (We are) two litigants,
one of us has done wrong to
the other, so judge between
us with truth, and do not be
unjust, and guide us to the
right path.”
øŒÎ)(#θè=yzyŠ4’n?tãyŠ…ãρ#yŠtíÌ“xsùöΝåκ÷]ÏΒ

5. 23. “Indeed, this my brother,
has ninety and nine ewes
while I have one ewe. So he
said, hand it over to me, and
he overpowered me in
speech.”

Zπyf÷ètΡu’Í<uρ×πyf÷ètΡ×οy‰Ïn≡uρtΑ$s)sù

24. He (David) said: “He has
certainly wronged you in
asking your ewe to his ewes.
And indeed, many among
partners oppress one
another, except those who
believe and do righteous
deeds, and there are few of
them.” And David guessed
that We had tried him, so he
sought forgiveness of his
Lord, and he fell down
bowing (in prostration) and
turned in repentance.

ߊ…ãρ#yŠ$yϑ¯Ρr&çμ≈¨ΨtGsùtxøótGó™$$sù…çμ−/u‘

25. So We forgave him that.
And indeed, for him is a
nearness to Us, and a good
place of return (Paradise).

$tΡy‰ΖÏã4’s∀ø9â“s9z⎯ó¡ãmuρ7U$t↔tΒ

26. “O David, indeed, We
have made you a successor
ߊ…ãρ#y‰≈tƒ$¯ΡÎ)y7≈oΨù=yèy_Zπx‹Î=yz’Îû

6. in the earth, so judge
between mankind with
truth, and do not follow the
desire for it will mislead you
from the way of Allah.”
Indeed, those who go astray
from the way of Allah, shall
have a severe punishment
because they forgot the Day
of Reckoning.
ÇÚö‘F{$#Λäl÷n$$sùt⎦÷⎫t/Ĩ$¨Ζ9$#
Èd,ptø:$$Î/ŸωuρÆìÎ7®Ks?3“uθyγø9$#y7¯=ÅÒãŠsù

tβθ=ÅÒtƒ⎯tãÈ≅‹Î6y™«!$#öΝßγs9
Ò>#x‹tã7‰ƒÏ‰x©$yϑÎ/(#θÝ¡nΣtΠöθtƒ
É>$|¡Ïtø:$#∩⊄∉∪
27. And We did not create
the heaven and the earth
and whatever is between
them without purpose. That
is the assumption of those
who disbelieve. Then woe to
those who disbelieve from
the Fire.
$tΒuρ$uΖø)n=yzu™!$yϑ¡¡9$#uÚö‘F{$#uρ
$tΒuρ$yϑåκs]÷t/WξÏÜ≈t/4y7Ï9≡sŒ⎯sß
t⎦⎪Ï%©!$#(#ρãxx.4×≅÷ƒuθsùt⎦⎪Ï%©#Ïj9(#ρãxx.
z⎯ÏΒÍ‘$¨Ζ9$#∩⊄∠∪
28. Or shall We treat those
who believe and do righteous
deeds as those who spread
corruption in the earth, or
shall We treat those who
fear as the wicked.
ôΘr&ã≅yèøgwΥt⎦⎪Ï%©!$#(#θãΖtΒ#u™(#θè=Ïϑtãuρ
ÏM≈ysÎ=≈¢Á9$#t⎦⎪ωšøßϑø9$%x.’Îû
ÇÚö‘F{$#ôΘr&ã≅yèøgwΥt⎦⎫É)−Gßϑø9$#
Í‘$¤fàø9$%x.∩⊄∇∪
29. (This is) a Book, We
have sent down to you, full
ë=≈tGÏ.çμ≈oΨø9t“Ρr&y7ø‹s9Î)Ô8t≈t6ãΒ

7. of blessing, that they may
ponder its verses, and that
may reflect those of
understanding.

É=≈t6ø9F{$#∩⊄®∪
30. And We bestowed on
David, Solomon. An excellent
slave, Indeed, he was ever
turning in repentance.
$uΖö7yδuρuρyŠ…ãρ#y‰Ï9z⎯≈yϑøŠn=ß™4zΝ÷èÏΡ
߉ö7yèø9$#(ÿ…çμ¯ΡÎ)ë>#¨ρr&∩⊂⊃∪
31. When there were
presented before him, in the
afternoon, trained horses,
well bred.
øŒÎ)uÚÌããÏμø‹n=tãÄc©Å´yèø9$$Î/
àM≈uΖÏ≈¢Á9$#ߊ$u‹Ågø:$#∩⊂⊇∪
32. So he said: “Indeed I did
give preference to the love of
the good things over the
remembrance of my Lord.”
Until (the sun) was hidden
into the veil (of darkness).
tΑ$s)sùþ’ÎoΤÎ)àMö6t7ômr&¡=ãmÎösƒø:$#
⎯tãÌø.ÏŒ’În1u‘4©®LymôNu‘#uθs?
É>$yfÏtø:$$Î/∩⊂⊄∪
33. (He said): “Return them
to me.” Then he began to
pass his hand over (their) legs
and necks.
$yδρ–Šâ‘¥’n?tã(t,ÏsÜsù$Gsó¡tΒ
É−θ¡9$$Î/É−$uΖôãF{$#uρ∩⊂⊂∪
34. And certainly, We tried
Solomon, and set on his
throne a body, then he
repented.
ô‰s)s9uρ$¨ΖtFsùz⎯≈yϑø‹n=ß™$uΖøŠs)ø9r&uρ4’n?tã
⎯ÏμÍh‹Å™öä.#Y‰|¡y_§ΝèOz>$tΡr&∩⊂⊆∪
35. He said: “My Lord,
forgive me and bestow on me
tΑ$s%Éb>u‘öÏøî$#’Í<ó=yδuρ’Í<%Z3ù=ãΒ

8. sovereignty, such as shall not
belong to any after me.
Indeed, You are the
Bestower.”
ω©Èöt7.⊥tƒ7‰tnL{.⎯ÏiΒü“ω÷èt/(
y7¨ΡÎ)|MΡr&Ü>$¨δuθø9$#∩⊂∈∪
36. So We subjected to him
the wind, it blew by his
command gently wherever he
intended.
$tΡö¤‚|¡sùçμs9yxƒÌh9$#“ÌøgrB⎯ÍνÌøΒr'Î/
¹™!%s{â‘ß]ø‹ymz>$|¹r&∩⊂∉∪
37. And the devils, every
builder and diver.
t⎦⎫ÏÜ≈u‹¤±9$#uρ¨≅ä.&™!$¨Ζt/<É#§θxîuρ
∩⊂∠∪
38. And others linked
together in chains.
t⎦⎪Ìyz#u™uρt⎦⎫ÏΡ§s)ãΒ’ÎûÏŠ$xô¹F{$#
∩⊂∇∪
39. (We said): “This is
Our gift, so bestow you,
or withhold, without
reckoning.”
#x‹≈yδ$tΡäτ!$sÜtãô⎯ãΨøΒ$$sù÷ρr&ô7Å¡øΒr&
ÎötóÎ/5>$|¡Ïm∩⊂®∪
40. And indeed, he has a
place of nearness to Us, and
an excellent resort.
¨βÎ)uρ…çμs9$tΡy‰ΖÏã4’s∀ø9â“s9z⎯ó¡ãmuρ
5>$t↔tΒ∩⊆⊃∪
41. And remember Our
slave Job, when he called
upon his Lord (saying):
Indeed, the devil has afflicted
öä.øŒ$#uρ!$tΡy‰ö7tãz>蕃r&øŒÎ)3“yŠ$tΡ
ÿ…çμ−/u‘’ÎoΤr&z©Í_¡¡tΒß⎯≈sÜø‹¤±9$#

9. me with distress and
torment.”

42. (It was said): “Strike
(ground) with your foot. This
is a (spring for) bath, cool
and a drink.”
ôÙä.ö‘$#y7Î=ô_ÌÎ/(#x‹≈yδ7≅|¡tFøóãΒ
׊͑$t/Ò>#uŸ°uρ∩⊆⊄∪
43. And We bestowed on him
his household and the like
thereof along with them, a
mercy from Us, and a
reminder for those of
understanding.
$oΨö7yδuρuρÿ…ã&s!…ã&s#÷δr&Νßγn=÷VÏΒuρöΝßγyè¨Β
ZπtΗôqy‘$¨ΖÏiΒ3“tø.ÏŒuρ’Í<'ρT{
É=≈t7ø9F{$#∩⊆⊂∪
44. “And take in your hand a
handful of straw then smite
with it, and do not break
your oath.” Indeed, We
found him patient, an
excellent slave. Indeed, He
was ever turning (to Allah).
õ‹è{uρx8ωu‹Î/$ZWøóÅÊ>ÎôÑ$$sù⎯ÏμÎn/
Ÿωuρô]oΨøtrB3$¯ΡÎ)çμ≈tΡô‰y`uρ#Î/$|¹4
zΝ÷èÏoΡ߉ö7yèø9$#(ÿ…çμ¯ΡÎ)Ò>#¨ρr&∩⊆⊆∪
45. And remember Our
slaves, Abraham, and Isaac,
and Jacob, those of strength
and vision.
öä.øŒ$#uρ!$tΡy‰≈t7ÏãtΛ⎧Ïδ≡tö/Î)t,≈ysó™Î)uρ
z>θà)÷ètƒuρ’Í<'ρé&“ω÷ƒF{$#
Ì≈|Áö/F{$#uρ∩⊆∈∪
46. Indeed, We chose them
for a pure quality, the
remembrance of the abode
(of Hereafter).
!$¯ΡÎ)Νßγ≈oΨóÁn=÷zr&7π|ÁÏ9$sƒ¿2
“tò2ό͑#¤$!$#∩⊆∉∪

10. 47. And Indeed, they are
with Us, of the chosen, the
excellent.
öΝåκ¨ΞÎ)uρ$tΡy‰ΖÏãz⎯Ïϑs9t⎦÷⎫xsÜóÁßϑø9$#
Í‘$uŠ÷zF{$#∩⊆∠∪
48. And remember Ishmael,
and Elisha, and Dhul Kifl.
And all are among the
excellent.
öä.øŒ$#uρŸ≅ŠÏè≈yϑó™Î)yì|¡uŠø9$#uρ#sŒuρ
È≅øÅ3ø9$#(@≅ä.uρz⎯ÏiΒÍ‘$uŠ÷zF{$#∩⊆∇∪
49. This is a reminder. And
indeed, for the righteous is a
good place of return
(Paradise).
#x‹≈yδÖø.ÏŒ4¨βÎ)uρt⎦⎫É)−Fßϑù=Ï9z⎯ó¡ßss9
5>$t↔tΒ∩⊆®∪
50. Gardens of Eden, whose
gates will be opened for them.
ÏM≈¨Ψy_5βô‰tãZπys−Gx•ΒãΝçλ°;
Ü>≡uθö/F{$#∩∈⊃∪
51. Reclining within them,
they will call therein for
abundant fruit and drinks.
t⎦⎫Ï↔Å3−GãΒ$pκÏùtβθããô‰tƒ$pκÏù
7πyγÅ3≈xÎ/;οuÏWŸ25>#uŸ°uρ∩∈⊇∪
52. And with them will be
those of modest gaze, of equal
age.
*óΟèδy‰ΖÏãuρßN≡uÅÇ≈s%Å∃ö©Ü9$#
ë>#tø?r&∩∈⊄∪
53. This is that you are
promised for the Day of
Reckoning.

11. 54. Indeed, this is Our
provision, for which there is
not any end.
¨βÎ)#x‹≈yδ$oΨè%ø—Ìs9$tΒ…çμs9⎯ÏΒ>Š$x¯Ρ
∩∈⊆∪
55. This (is so). And indeed,
for the transgressors there
will be an evil place of return.
#x‹≈yδ4χÎ)uρt⎦⎫Éó≈©Ü=Ï9§|³s9
5>$t↔tΒ∩∈∈∪
56. Hell, where they will
burn, an evil resting place.
tΛ©⎝yγy_$pκtΞöθn=óÁtƒ}§ø♥Î7sùߊ$yγÎRùQ$#
∩∈∉∪
57. This (is so). Then let them
taste it, a boiling fluid and
dirty wound discharges.

∩∈∠∪
58. And other (torments) of
its type, various kinds.
ãyz#u™uρ⎯ÏΒÿ⎯ÏμÎ=õ3x©ël≡uρø—r&∩∈∇∪
59. This is a troop entering
with you, no welcome for
them. They will indeed burn
in the Fire.

$L7ymötΒöΝÍκÍ54öΝåκ¨ΞÎ)(#θä9$|¹Í‘$¨Ζ9$#

60. They will say: “Nay
but you, no welcome for
you. You (our leaders)
brought this upon us (by your
(#θä9$s%ö≅t/óΟçFΡr&Ÿω$L6ymötΒö/ä3Î/(
óΟçFΡr&çνθßϑçFøΒ£‰s%$uΖs9(}§ø♥Î7sù

12. misleading). So evil is this
place to stay in.”
â‘#ts)ø9$#∩∉⊃∪
61. They will say: “Our
Lord, whoever brought upon
us this, so increase for him a
double punishment in the
Fire.”

çν÷ŠÌ“sù$/#x‹tã$Z÷èÅÊ’ÎûÍ‘$¨Ζ9$#∩∉⊇∪
62. And they will say: “What
is (the matter) with us that
we do not see men whom we
used to count among the
worst.”

$¨Ζä.Μè䑉ãètΡz⎯ÏiΒÍ‘#uõ°F{$#∩∉⊄∪
63. “Did we take them as
ridicule, or have (our) eyes
failed to perceive them.”
öΝßγ≈tΡõ‹sƒªBr&$‡ƒÌ÷‚Å™÷Πr&ôMxî#y—
ãΝåκ÷]tãã≈|Áö/F{$#∩∉⊂∪
64. Indeed, that is very
truth, the disputing of the
people of the Fire.
¨βÎ)y7Ï9≡sŒA,ptm:ãΛà¼$sƒrBÈ≅÷δr&Í‘$¨Ζ9$#
∩∉⊆∪
65. Say (O Muhammad): “ I
am only a warner, and there
is not any god but Allah, the
One, the All Prevailing.”
ö≅è%!$yϑ¯ΡÎ)O$tΡr&Ö‘É‹ΖãΒ($tΒuρô⎯ÏΒ>μ≈s9Î)
ωÎ)ª!$#߉Ïn≡uθø9$#â‘$£γs)ø9$#∩∉∈∪
66. Lord of the heavens
and the earth and whatever is
between them, the All
Mighty, the Oft Forgiving.

$yϑåκs]÷t/Ⓝ͓yèø9$#ã≈¤tóø9$#∩∉∉∪

13. 67. Say: “That is a
tremendous news.”
ö≅è%uθèδ(#îσt7tΡîΛ⎧Ïàtã∩∉∠∪
68. “From which you turn
away.”
÷Λä⎢Ρr&çμ÷ΖtãtβθàÊÌ÷èãΒ∩∉∇∪
69. (Say to them): “I did not
have any knowledge of the
exalted chiefs (angels) when
they disputed (about the

75. He (Allah) said: “O Iblis,
what prevented you from
prostrating to that which I
created with My hands.
Were you arrogant, or were
you of the high exalted.”

than him. You created me
from fire, and created him

then reprieve me until the
day when they are raised.”

80. He (Allah) said:
“Indeed, you are of those
reprieved.”

15. 81. “Until the day of the time
appointed.”

82. He said: “Then by
Your Might, I will surely
mislead them all.”

amongst them, sincere.”

the truth is, and the truth I
speak.”

85. “That I will surely fill
Hell with you and those
who follow you of them, all
together.”

86. Say (O Muhammad): “I
do not ask of you for this
any payment, and I am not of
the impostors.”

87. It is not except a
reminder for all mankind.

88. And you will surely know
(truth of) its news after a
