In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

2. Do people think that they
will be left alone because
they say: “We believe, and
they will not be tested.”

(#þθä9θà)tƒ$¨ΨtΒ#u™öΝèδuρŸωtβθãΖtFøãƒ
∩⊄∪
3. And certainly, We have
tested those who were before
them. Thus Allah will surely
make evident those who are
truthful, and He will surely
make evident the liars.

£⎯yϑn=÷èu‹n=sùª!$#š⎥⎪Ï%©!$#(#θè%y‰|¹

4. Or do those who do
evil deeds think that they
can outrun (escape) Us. Evil
is what they judge.

2. 5. Whoever hopes to the
meeting with Allah. Then
indeed, Allah’s term is
coming. And He is the All
Hearer, the All Knower.

Ÿ≅y_r&«!$#;NUψ4uθèδuρßì‹Ïϑ¡¡9$#
ÞΟŠÎ=yèø9$#∩∈∪
6. And whoever strives, so
he only strives for himself.
Indeed, Allah is Free from
need of the worlds
(creation).

7. And those who believe
and do righteous deeds, We
shall surely remove from
them their evil deeds, and We
shall surely reward them the
best of what they used to
do.

8. And We have enjoined
upon man kindness to his
parents. And if they strive
with you to make you join
with Me that of which you
have no knowledge, then do
not obey them. To Me is
your return, then I shall
surely inform you about what
you used to do.

3. 9. And those who believe
and do righteous deeds, We
will surely admit them
among the righteous.

ÏM≈ysÎ=≈¢Á9$#öΝßγ¨Ψn=Åzô‰ãΖs9’Îû
t⎦⎫ÅsÎ=≈¢Á9$#∩®∪
10. And among mankind are
those who say: “We believe
in Allah.” Then, when they
are made to suffer in (the
cause of) Allah, they consider
the persecution of mankind
as the punishment of Allah.
And if victory comes from
your Lord, they will surely
say: “Indeed, we were with
you.” Is not Allah best
aware of what is in the
breasts of the worlds
(creation).

$yϑÎ/’ÎûÍ‘ρ߉߹t⎦⎫Ïϑn=≈yèø9$#∩⊇⊃∪
11. And Allah will surely
make evident those who
believe, and He will surely
make evident the hypocrites.
£⎯yϑn=÷èu‹s9uρª!$#š⎥⎪Ï%©!$#(#θãΖtΒ#u™
£⎯yϑn=÷èu‹s9uρš⎥⎫É)Ï≈oΨßϑø9$#∩⊇⊇∪
12. And those who
disbelieve say to those who
believe: “Follow our way, and
we will carry your sins.”
And they will not carry
tΑ$s%uρt⎦⎪Ï%©!$#(#ρãxŸ2š⎥⎪Ï%©#Ï9
(#θãΖtΒ#u™(#θãèÎ7®?$#$uΖn=ŠÎ6y™ö≅ÏϑósoΨø9uρ
öΝä3≈u‹≈sÜyz$tΒuρΝèδš⎥,Î#Ïϑ≈pt¿2

4. from their sins anything.
Indeed, they are liars.
ô⎯ÏΒΝßγ≈u‹≈sÜyz⎯ÏiΒ>™ó©x«(óΟßγ¯ΡÎ)
šχθç/É‹≈s3s9∩⊇⊄∪
13. And they will surely
carry their (own) burdens
and (other) burdens along
with their (own) burdens,
and they will surely be
questioned on the Day of
Resurrection about what they
used to invent.

yì¨ΒöΝÏλÎ;$s)øOr&(£⎯è=t↔ó¡ãŠs9uρtΠöθtƒ

14. And indeed, We sent
Noah to his people, and he
stayed among them a
thousand (years) less fifty
years. Then the flood
engulfed them while they
were wrongdoers.

y]Î7n=sùöΝÎγ‹Ïùy#ø9r&>πuΖy™ωÎ)

Üχ$sùθ’Ü9$#öΝèδuρtβθßϑÎ=≈sß∩⊇⊆∪
15. Then We rescued him and
the companions of the ship,
and made it a sign for all
peoples.
çμ≈oΨø‹yfΡr'sù|=≈ysô¹r&uρÏπoΨ‹Ï¡¡9$#
!$yγ≈oΨù=yèy_uρZπtƒ#u™š⎥⎫Ïϑn=≈yèù=Ïj9∩⊇∈∪
16. And Abraham, when he
said to his people: “Worship
Allah and fear Him. That is
better for you if you
should know.”
zΟŠÏδ≡tö/Î)uρøŒÎ)tΑ$s%ÏμÏΒöθs)Ï9(#ρ߉ç6ôã$#
©!$#çνθà)¨?$#uρ(óΟà6Ï9≡sŒ×öyzöΝä3©9
βÎ)óΟçFΖà2šχθßϑn=÷ès?∩⊇∉∪

5. 17. You worship other
than Allah only idols, and
you invent a falsehood.
Indeed, those whom you
worship other than Allah
have no power to give you
provision, so seek provision
from Allah, and worship
Him, and be grateful to
Him. To Him you will be
brought back.”

18. And if you deny, then
certainly nations have denied
before you. And it is not
upon the Messenger except
to convey (the message)
clearly.

⎯ÏiΒöΝä3Î=ö6s%($tΒuρ’n?tãÅ^θß™§9$#

19. Have they not considered
how Allah originates
creation, then He repeats
it. Indeed, that is easy for
Allah.
öΝs9uρr&(#÷ρttƒy#ø‹Ÿ2ä—ωö7リ!$#
t,ù=y‚ø9$#¢ΟèOÿ…çν߉‹Ïèãƒ4¨βÎ)šÏ9≡sŒ
’n?tã«!$#×Å¡o„∩⊇®∪
20. Say: (O Muhammad)
“Travel in the land and see
how He originated creation,
then Allah will bring forth
ö≅è%(#ρçÅ™†ÎûÇÚö‘F{$#(#ρãÝàΡ$$sù
y#ø‹Ÿ2r&y‰t/t,ù=y⇐ø9$#4¢ΟèOª!$#

6. the later creation. Indeed,
Allah has Power over all
things.”
à⋅Å´Ψãƒnοr'ô±¨Ψ9$#nοtÅzFψ$#4¨βÎ)©!$#
4’n?tãÈe≅à2&™ó©x«ÖƒÏ‰s%∩⊄⊃∪
21. He punishes whom He
wills, and He has mercy upon
whom He wills. And to Him
you will be turned back.
Ü>Éj‹yèãƒ⎯tΒâ™!$t±o„ãΝymötƒuρ⎯tΒ
â™!$t±tƒ(Ïμø‹s9Î)uρšχθç7n=ø)è?∩⊄⊇∪
22. And you cannot escape
(from Him) in the earth,
nor in the heaven. And there
is none for you, other than
Allah, any friend, nor a
helper.

ÇÚö‘F{$#Ÿωuρ’ÎûÏ™!$yϑ¡¡9$#($tΒuρ

Ÿωuρ9ÅÁtΡ∩⊄⊄∪
23. And those who
disbelieve in the signs of
Allah and in (their) meeting
with Him, it is they who shall
despair of My mercy, and it is
they who will have a painful
punishment.

24. So there was no
answer of his people except
that they said: “Kill him or
burn him.” Then Allah saved
him from the fire. Indeed, in
$yϑsùšχ%Ÿ2z>#uθy_ÿ⎯ÏμÏΒöθs%
HωÎ)βr&(#θä9$s%çνθè=çGø%$#÷ρr&çνθè%Ìhym
çμ9pgΥr'sùª!$#š∅ÏΒÍ‘$¨Ζ9$#4¨βÎ)’Îû

7. that are sure signs for a
people who believe.
y7Ï9≡sŒ;M≈tƒUψ5Θöθs)Ïj9tβθãΖÏΒ÷σãƒ∩⊄⊆∪
25. And he (Abraham)
said: “You have taken only
idols other than Allah. The
love between you is (only) in
the life of the world. Then on
the Day of Resurrection you
will deny one another, and
you will curse one another,
and your abode will be the
Fire, and you shall not have
any helpers.”

26. So Lot believed him.
And he said: “Indeed, I shall
migrate towards my Lord.
Indeed He is the All
Mighty, the All Wise.”

27. And We bestowed on
him Isaac and Jacob, and
We placed in his progeny
the prophethood and the
scripture, and We gave him
his reward in the world.
And indeed, in the Hereafter
$oΨö7yδuρuρÿ…ã&s!t,≈ysó™Î)z>θà)÷ètƒuρ
$uΖù=yèy_uρ’ÎûÏμÏG−ƒÍh‘èŒnο§θç7–Ψ9$#
|=≈tGÅ3ø9$#uρçμ≈oΨ÷s?#u™uρ…çνtô_r&’Îû
$u‹÷Ρ‘‰9$#(…çμ¯ΡÎ)uρ’ÎûÍοtÅzFψ$#z⎯Ïϑs9

8. he is surely among the
righteous.
t⎦⎫ÅsÎ=≈¢Á9$#∩⊄∠∪
28. And Lot, when he said
to his people: “Indeed, you
commit lewdness which no
one has preceded you
(committing it) from among
the worlds.”
$»Ûθä9uρøŒÎ)tΑ$s%ÿ⎯ÏμÏΒöθs)Ï9öΝà6¯ΡÎ)
tβθè?ù'tGs9sπt±Ås≈xø9$#$tΒΝà6s)t6y™

29. “Do you indeed approach
males, and rob the wayfarer
(travelers), and indulge in
indecencies in your
assemblies.” But his people
had no answer except that
they said: “Bring upon us
the punishment of Allah if
you are among the
truthful.”

tβθãèsÜø)s?uρŸ≅‹Î6¡¡9$#šχθè?ù's?uρ
’ÎûãΝä3ƒÏŠ$tΡtx6Ζßϑø9$#($yϑsù
šχ%x.šU#uθy_ÿ⎯ÏμÏΒöθs%HωÎ)βr&
(#θä9$s%$oΨÏKø$#É>#x‹yèÎ/«!$#βÎ)
|MΖà2z⎯ÏΒt⎦⎫Ï%ω≈¢Á9$#∩⊄®∪
30. He said: “My Lord, help
me against the people who do
mischief.”
tΑ$s%Å_Uu‘’ÎΤ÷ÝÇΡ$#’n?tãÏΘöθs)ø9$#
š⎥⎪ωšøßϑø9$#∩⊂⊃∪
31. And when Our
messengers came to Abraham
with the good tidings, they
said: “Indeed, we are about
$£ϑs9uρôNu™!%y`!$uΖè=ß™â‘zΟŠÏδ≡tö/Î)
3“tô±ç6ø9$$Î/(#þθä9$s%$¯ΡÎ)(#þθä3Î=ôγãΒÈ≅÷δr&

9. to destroy the people of that
(Lot's) township. Indeed, its
people are wrong doers.”
ÍνÉ‹≈yδÏπtƒös)ø9$#(¨βÎ)$yγn=÷δr&(#θçΡ$Ÿ2
š⎥⎫ÏϑÎ=≈sß∩⊂⊇∪
32. He (Abraham) said:
“Indeed, Lot is in there.”
They said: “We are best
aware of who is in there. We
shall surely save him and his
household, except his wife,
she will be of those who stay
behind.”

Ú∅øtwΥÞΟn=÷ær&⎯yϑÎ/$pκÏù(

ôMtΡ$Ÿ2z⎯ÏΒš⎥⎪ÎÉ9≈tóø9$#∩⊂⊄∪
33. And that when Our
messengers came to Lot, he
was distressed because of
them, and felt straitened for
them. And they said: “Do not
fear, nor grieve. Indeed, we
will save you and your
family, except your wife, she
will be of those who stay
behind.”

u™û_Å›öΝÍκÍ5šX$|ÊuρöΝÎγÎ/%Yæö‘sŒ

34. “Indeed, we are about to
bring down upon the people
of this township a torment
from the sky because they
have been disobedient.”
$¯ΡÎ)šχθä9Í”∴ãΒ#’n?tãÈ≅÷δr&ÍνÉ‹≈yδ
Ïπtƒös)ø9$##Y“ô_Í‘š∅ÏiΒÏ™!$yϑ¡¡9$#$yϑÎ/

10. 35. And certainly, We have
left of it a clear sign for a
people who understand.
‰s)s9uρ$uΖò2t¨?!$yγ÷ΨÏΒOπtƒ#u™ZπoΨÉit/
5Θöθs)Ïj9šχθè=É)÷ètƒ∩⊂∈∪
36. And to Midian (We sent)
their brother, Shuaib. So he
said: “O my people, worship
Allah, and hope for the Last
Day, and do not commit
abuse on the earth,
spreading corruption.”

tΑ$s)sùÉΘöθs)≈tƒ(#ρ߉ç6ôã$#©!$#

’ÎûÇÚö‘F{$#t⎦⎪ωšøãΒ∩⊂∉∪
37. So they denied him, then
the dreadful earthquake
seized them, and they lay
(dead), prostrate in their
dwelling place.
çνθç/¤‹x6sùãΜßγø?x‹yzr'sùèπxô_§9$#
(#θßst7ô¹r'sù†ÎûöΝÏδÍ‘#yŠ
š⎥⎫ÏϑÏW≈y_∩⊂∠∪
38. And (We destroyed)
Aad and Thamud. And
indeed (their fate) is manifest
to you from their (ruined)
dwellings. And Satan made
their deeds seem fair to them,
and turned them away from
the (right) path, though they
were sensible observers.

11. 39. And Korah, and Pharaoh
and Haman (We destroyed
also), and indeed Moses
came to them with clear signs
(of Allah’s Sovereignty), but
they were arrogant in the
land. And they could not
outrun (Us).

š∅≈yϑ≈yδuρ(ô‰s)s9uρΝèδu™!%y`

40. So each one We seized
for his sin. Then among
them were those upon whom
We sent a storm of stones.
And among them were those
who were seized by the
blast. And among them were
those whom We caused the
earth to swallow. And among
them were those whom We
drowned. And it was not for
Allah to wrong them, but
they were being unjust to
themselves.

41. The likeness of those
who have taken protectors
other than Allah is as the
likeness of the spider, who
ã≅sWtΒš⎥⎪Ï%©!$#(#ρä‹sƒªB$#⎯ÏΒ
Âχρߊ«!$#u™!$uŠÏ9÷ρr&È≅sVyϑx.

12. takes (builds) a house.
And indeed, the frailest
of all houses is the
spider’s house. If they
(only) knew.

š∅yδ÷ρr&ÏNθã‹ç6ø9$#àMøŠt7s9
ÏNθç6x6Ζyèø9$#(öθs9(#θçΡ$Ÿ2
šχθßϑn=ôètƒ∩⊆⊇∪
42. Indeed, Allah knows
whatever they call upon any
thing other than Him. And
He is the All Mighty, the
All Wise.

⎯ÏμÏΡρߊ⎯ÏΒ&™ó_x«4uθèδuρⓃ͓yèø9$#

43. And these similitudes,
We put forward them for
mankind. And none will
understand them except those
who have knowledge.

44. Allah created the
heavens and the earth with
truth. Indeed, in that is
surely a sign for those who
believe.

45. Recite that which has
been revealed to you of the
Book, and establish prayer.
Indeed, prayer restrains from
ã≅ø?$#!$tΒz©Çrρé&y7ø‹s9Î)š∅ÏΒ
É=≈tGÅ3ø9$#ÉΟÏ%r&uρnο4θn=¢Á9$#(χÎ)

13. lewdness and iniquity. And
surely the remembrance of
Allah is greater. And Allah
knows what you do.

Ìs3Ζßϑø9$#uρ3ãø.Ï%s!uρ«!$#çt9ò2r&3
ª!$#uρÞΟn=÷ètƒ$tΒtβθãèoΨóÁs?∩⊆∈∪
46. And do not argue with the
People of the Scripture
except it be in (a way) that
is better, except with those
who do wrong among them.
And say: “We believe in
that which has been
revealed to us and revealed
to you. And our God and
your God is One, and we are
to Him those who surrender.”

47. And thus We have
revealed to you the Book
(Quran). And those to
whom We gave the Scripture
(aforetime) believe in it. And
of these (also) there are some
who believe in it. And none
deny Our revelations except
the disbelievers.

14. 48. And you (O Muhammad)
did not read before it of
any book, nor did you
write it with your right
hand, for then, those who
follow falsehood, might have
doubted.

5=≈tGÏ.Ÿωuρ…çμ’ÜèƒrBšÎΨŠÏϑu‹Î/(#]ŒÎ)
z>$s?ö‘^ωšχθè=ÏÜö6ßϑø9$#∩⊆∇∪
49. But these are clear
revelations in the hearts of
those who have been given
knowledge. And none deny
Our revelations except the
wrong doers.

50. And they say: “Why
signs are not sent down
upon him from his
Lord.” Say: “The signs are
with Allah only, and I am
only a plain warner.”

51. And is it not sufficient
for them that We have sent
down to you the Book
which is recited to them.
Indeed, in that is surely a
mercy and a reminder for a
people who believe.

15. 52. Say: “Sufficient is Allah
between me and you as
a Witness. He knows what
is in the heavens and the
earth.” And those who
believe in falsehood and
disbelieve in Allah, they are
those who are the losers.

tβρçÅ£≈y‚ø9$#∩∈⊄∪
53. And they ask you to
hasten on the punishment.
And if a term had not been
appointed, the punishment
would assuredly have come to
them. And surely, it will come
upon them suddenly while
they perceive not.

54. They ask you to
hasten on the punishment.
And indeed, Hell will be
encompassing the
disbelievers.

tΛ©⎝yγy_8πsÜŠÅsßϑs9t⎦⎪ÌÏ≈s3ø9$$Î/∩∈⊆∪
55. On the day the
punishment shall cover them
from above them and from
underneath their feet, and it
tΠöθtƒãΝßγ9t±øótƒÜ>#x‹yèø9$#⎯ÏΒ
öΝÎγÏ%öθsù⎯ÏΒuρÏMøtrBóΟÎγÎ=ã_ö‘r&

16. will be said: “Taste what
you used to do.”
ãΑθà)tƒuρ(#θè%ρèŒ$tΒ÷Λä⎢Ζä.tβθè=yϑ÷ès?

56. O my slaves, those who
believe, indeed, My earth is
spacious, so worship Me only.
y“ÏŠ$t7Ïè≈tƒt⎦⎪Ï%©!$#(#þθãΖtΒ#u™¨βÎ)
©ÅÌö‘r&×πyèÅ™≡uρ}‘≈−ƒÎ*sùÈβρ߉ç7ôã$$sù

57. Every soul shall taste the
death. Then to Us you shall
be returned.
‘≅ä.<§øtΡèπs)Í←!#sŒÏNöθyϑø9$#(§ΝèO
$uΖø‹s9Î)šχθãèy_öè?∩∈∠∪
58. And those who believe
and do righteous deeds, We
will surely give them lofty
dwellings in the Gardens
underneath which rivers
flow, to live therein forever.
Excellent is the reward of the
workers.

59. Those who are patient,
and in their Lord put their
trust.

tβθè=©.uθtGtƒ∩∈®∪

17. 60. And how many of
creatures are there that do
not carry their provisions.
Allah provides for them and
for you. And He is the All
Hearer, the All Knower.

$yγs%ø—Í‘ª!$#$yγè%ã—ötƒöΝä.$−ƒÎ)uρ4uθèδuρ
ßì‹Ïϑ¡¡9$#ãΛ⎧Î=yèø9$#∩∉⊃∪
61. And if you ask them,
“Who created the heavens
and the earth, and subjected
the sun and the moon (to
their appointed work).” They
would surely say: “Allah.”
Then how are they turned
away.

ÏN≡uθ≈yϑ¡¡9$#uÚö‘F{$#uρt¤‚y™uρ
}§ôϑ¤±9$#tyϑs)ø9$#uρ£⎯ä9θà)u‹s9ª!$#(
4’¯Τr'sùtβθä3sù÷σãƒ∩∉⊇∪
62. Allah enlarges the
provision for whom He
wills of His slaves and
straitens it for whom (He
wills). Indeed, Allah is the
All Knower of all things.
ª!$#äÝÝ¡ö6tƒs−ø—Îh9$#⎯yϑÏ9â™!$t±o„ô⎯ÏΒ
⎯ÍνÏŠ$t7Ïãâ‘ωø)tƒuρÿ…ã&s!4¨βÎ)©!$#Èe≅ä3Î/
>™ó©x«ÒΟŠÎ=tæ∩∉⊄∪
63. And if you ask them,
“Who causes water to come
down from the sky, then
with it revives the earth
after its death. They would
surely say: “Allah.” Say:
“All the Praise be to
Allah.” But most of them
have no sense.

18. 64. And the life of this
world is nothing but an
amusement and play. And
indeed, the home of the
Hereafter, that is indeed the
life, if they (but) knew.

65. And when they
embark on a ship, they
call on Allah, making
sincere for Him (their) faith.
Then when He brings them
safely to land, behold, they
ascribe partners (to Him).

©!$#t⎦⎫ÅÁÎ=øƒèΧçμs9t⎦⎪Ïe$!$#$£ϑn=sù

∩∉∈∪
66. So that they will deny
for what We have given
them, and that they take their
enjoyment. But soon they will
come to know.

67. Have they not seen that
We have appointed a secure
sanctuary, and that men are
being snatched away from all
around them. Then in
falsehood do they believe,
and in the bounty of Allah
they disbelieve.

Ïπyϑ÷èÏΖÎ/uρ«!$#tβρãàõ3tƒ∩∉∠∪

19. 68. And who does a greater
wrong than he who invents
about Allah a lie, or denies
the truth when it comes to
him. Is not there in Hell a
dwelling for the disbelievers.

69. And those who strive in
Us, We will surely guide them
to Our paths. And indeed,
Allah is surely with the
righteous.
