This document summarizes a study on the effects of equipment productivity in construction projects. The study aimed to identify key factors influencing equipment productivity and their impacts on projects. A literature review identified six main effects: cost overrun, delay, disputes, loss of equipment productivity, equipment accidents, and work suspensions. Questionnaires were distributed to construction professionals who rated each effect. The relative importance index method was used to analyze the data and rank the effects. Delay was found to be the most important effect, followed by cost overrun and disputes. The findings provide insight into improving equipment productivity and minimizing impacts on construction projects.
