good choice by the producers because many fathers have the stereotype that their
daughters bring a bad guy as her boyfriend and the father doesn’t like him. This works
very well for the advert because it sticks in your brain and is funny because of this
stereotypical view point.
3. My Video
Our Irn bru advert was recorded and edited and finalized very quickly compared to the
real advert used on televisions in the past and present. In our recording we used
similar techniques, such as the camera switching on certain people and make them the
priority of the selected scene. We made the decision to use these shots because it
looks more professional and more unique compared to the other adverts that have
been produced.
The way we produced this advert this way was because I want the video to be
appealing to a large audience that will enjoy the graphics and imagery of the video
production. This was a main reason I added sound effects and music for the advert.
This was to give it a comedic side of the video and also a professional manor about it.
The style of the advertising was mostly comedic because we could film a serious irn
bru advert that was appealing to the audience and looks professional and neat. We
didn’t officially release the video because it wasn’t assigned by the company but the
reactions we had for the advert were all mostly positive.

In the irn bru game there is one character used. It is a lumberjack throwing logs
that travel a distance and whilst catching irn bru cans to go further. This works
well because it has a addictive feel to the game. This is because of the simple
way it is presented and its easy to beat your previous score to give you that
boost of addictiveness. This was a good decision to make because it gives the
audience a good way to enjoy the game as well as the publicity of the drink.

website for irn bru giving the audience more than just a drink but also a fun
aspect that is good for the growth of the audience.

based of a popular Scottish drink. This is because its created to promote the irn

5. My Advergame
My advergame I have created had two different characters in the main game. I
did this by having the different characters on the different levels. I created all of
the images used on the game I did this by using Photoshop and adobe premier
pro. I large obstacle that I had in the creation was the pixel creation. This also
effected my time management slightly. I decided to this for my advergame
because even though the editing was a large part of the idea I wanted to make
the best of what I had.
the was I created this game was so it could be easy to play and looks visually
satisfying for the audience. I did this because it could draw people in to purchase
the game and play it as an addictive game as well as promoting the irn bru
brand. When creating the game I kept that idea about popularity and enjoy all
the way through creation.

fun to play as well as being able to promote the brand of irn bru and give the
company more of a audience than it already has and making growth in the
company.

In the way the official advert by irn bru it has certain switches by the camera angle so it keeps your eyes drawn and it is
editing in a way that it looks simple but professional. It is the same as we created the video because I edited the recording
and audio in adobe premier pro so it could be professional and simple. We did the same technique as the official advert
because it works very well and creates a very good effect for the advert. The professional advert also included some friendly
banter that we tried to recreate in a different manor and it seems to be a success for the final edit of the irn bru advert we
created.
In the professional advert they created a good story line for the advert that can be very relatable and iconic for parents and
there children. They did this by having the father meeting a bad boyfriend and when he drinks the irn bru he feels better
and likes him just because of the drink. In our advert we created the story line based on some simple banter that caused the
bully of the video to lose to the irn bru drinker. This was a very smart idea for the professional video because its really
relatable for some people and could make a grown in there purchasers and audience world wide as well as local.
By using the comedy is helped the style of there advertising because there work in the videos come across as not holding
back and is shown in the variety of television adverts the have produced. This line crossing ideas produced works very well
to make them stand out compared to other companies such as coca cola and Pepsi. This concept was placed into our heads
when thinking about producing our adverts because it seems to work well in the industry of the adverts. We crossed the
line possible with violence but it was also more simple. This style also causes the advert to stick in your head and works well

One of the main differences between our work and the official professional advert created by irn bru is that the video
standard and the way its edited. This is because the editing by irn bru is more professional and more suitable for television
airing, this works well because of the way we created the advert was that we tried to keep the concept of television airing
and what are the barriers of what are right and wrong to keep in the final cut. Another difference between my work and the
official advert produced are that the official advert includes a lot of relatable scenarios that are funny and causes a
reactions from parents and young adults. In our work we created the advert based on the irn bru being able to help you win
against a bully and makes you feel better because of you drinking it.

my game I decided to do a similar technique that made the game addictive and fun for the full time playing
it. I did this by having positive music and also including the easy side of the game so it can be good to win
and its hard to loose unless you haven't played games before.
