2. Process
• I first started by choosing what
I wanted to do whether that be
a podcast or a review. I knew I
would be doing a podcast as
it’s the thing I’m most familiar
with as I listen to a lot of them
myself. After choosing to do a
podcast I started to do my
research on podcast I listen to
often. For this I used the
platform that they are posted
on such as YouTube and
Spotify.
3. Process
• I made mind maps and mood
boards about 3 different
podcasts of my choice, I listen to
all of them regularly so I have
experience with tem already and
was able to talk about them and
draw out differences and
similarity's between the three. I
would find what makes them
work well and enjoyable to
watch as well as what type of
people and age view the
content. I would have to find out
what genre of podcast I would
be doing. To do them I used
power point and Google for any
images used.
4. Process
• I then started to plan out what
I would be talking about and
how it would be presented
whether its formal or done
informally. After I would do a
rough plan of the script and
the layout of the speech. I split
the paragraphs from each part
as well as having the advert to
be put in halfway though the
podcast. For this I did it all in a
word document and YouTube
to find the music I would use
for the intro and outro.
5. Process
• After the script was done I
started to record it use the
audio recorder just by itself
and I would choose the best
one out of all the once I did.
After this I had to find the best
suited music for what the
podcast is about as well as the
theme used. I also had to find
some audio for the back to fill
in the blank spaces in it. For
this I used a YouTube to MP3
converter to put them in
6. Process
• After finishing the basic I then started to move everything about into its
order and change the volumes such as my voice made higher and the
music in the background lowed so you’ll be able to hear it well. For this
I used the cut tools and volume tool. After it was all in place in added in
effects such as gradients so that each piece of audio moves into the
next one well. I then exported it as an mp3.
• I feel it went well as I was familiar with the software however I could
have developed my knowledge a bit more so I could have made use of
effects and more technical aspects which may have made it more
professional sounding.
