2. Aim & Objective:
The present work was designed on basis of different approaches of
guided study on herbal lipstick. The list of ingredients was made.
Then the literature review was done. The materials were collected
and method of preparation was studied and the evaluation for
coloring matter was performed of herbal lipstick was formulated. The
prepared formulation was evaluated for various properties and results
were tabulated.
Introduction:
Lipsticks are most widely used in cosmetic added in the make up to
enhance the beauty of lips. A good lipstick should have persuading
characteristics and be acceptable to consumer, such as having a
suitable texture and antioxidant properties. Bases, oils, emollient and
colorant are among the variety of components that contribute to
properties of fine lipstick[1].
Note: A person eats about 4-9 pound of lipsticks in their lifetime.

5. *Result
To bravely create a lipstick using herbal elements in order to reduce the
negative effects that the available synthetic ones can cause[2].

6. *Discussion
The results of various property evaluations indicated that the herbal
preparation of herbal lipstick was smooth and fine in texture, Wine red
in the colour and there was no change in the odour as the odour was
pleasant. The nature of the herbal preparations was smooth and also
indicated the good properties of the lipstick. The irritancy test was also
done and it was revealed that there was no sign and symptoms of
redness, rashes, swelling and oedema.
