2. The middle child of two other siblings, Rick
Schelker grew up in the small town Albia, Iowa,
which shaped his “down home, country boy-
style” ethics and principles. He’s been an avid
sports fan his entire life and dreams of
becoming a Sports Talk Television analyst. After
serving 12 years in the U.S. Army as an Engineer,
Rick enrolled in the Sportscasting program at
Full Sail University where he’s focused on
developing the different skills needed to be a
successful sportscaster.

You know how the analysis of sports has
become quite biased? Well, what I do is produce
unbiased analysis on stories that entertain and
inspire American families to watch Sports Talk television, or listen to Sports
Talk Radio. In fact, after serving 12 years as a U.S. Army Soldier, I produced
a short analysis film that helped my friend and colleague gain buzz on his
Sports Talk show online . Fans on the show often referenced my video as a
nice change of pace from the bias you see so often in Sports these days.
