2. Process
• I have used the bucket tool to fill
in the background for my front
cover I think this colour is simple
and easy to add colour to match.
• I have also used a image from the
internet to use on my front cover
and used the magic wand tool to
cut the background away from the
image helping the magazine look
more realistic.
• This looks effective and simple
3. Process
• Text has been added giving the
magazine a title. I have copied the
text and made one of them bigger
than the other and a different
colour so that the coloured text
has a black outline and make it
stand out more.
• I have also used text to add the
artists name and made it bold to
grab attention to the audience on
the main focus of the magazine.
• A barcode has also been added to
the bottom left corner this helps
to show the what the product is, it
also helps with making the
product look realistic and
effective.
4. Process
• More text has been added to the
magazine to add more information
and colour to the magazine.
• Artists have been added to show
what else will be included in the
magazine.
• I have used different fonts on the
front cover as it helps to give focus
on different parts of text on the
magazine and show what is most
important.
• I have used the colour red on
different words to grab attention,
there is also red in the title so it all
matches together.
5. Process
• Text has been added to the left
side of the magazine where there
was empty space to give
information on the magazine and
show to the audience what will be
included throughout.
• I have used the same font for most
of the information as this doesn’t
make it stand out as much and
helps the audience have attention
the different and bold fonts.
• This is my overall product I think
that the finish product looks good
and realistic and will grab
attention to my audience.
6. Process
• This is my double page spread.
• I have used a photo to use half of
the page as it shows who the
article is about.
• Text has been added at the top to
give the article a title, I have made
it bold and underlined it as I
wanted it to be the main focus so
the audience knows what it is
about.
7. Process
• I have used the shape tool to
create a rectangle on the second
half of my spread and changed it
to a different coloured grey so
that it stands out from the rest of
the magazine and the background
as this is going to be a main focus
on the magazine.
• I have added text at the bottom in
bold to grab attention and for my
audience to know who is being
focused on.
• I think that the double page
spread is looking good so far as it
is simple but all the colours work
together but different parts stand
out.
8. Process
• I have used the text tool to add
the written part of my article
onto the magazine, I have used
the colour white for the text as I
think that it stands out from the
rest of the dull and dark
background so it makes it easier
to read.
• I have also used the shape tool
to add a circle and I lowered the
opacity setting so that it blended
in more but stood out from the
rest. I have made it a orange
colour as it gives a pop of colour.
• The circle gives a plug for the
audience to get them involved.
• This is the finished product,
overall I think that it looks
realistic and although it is simple
it is effective and will appeal to
my audience.
