2. Research
• When researching for my final project I was looking for magazines related
to digital art. When researching I found magazines to do with digital art
and I saw they had bold large titles, which I used for my final piece.
• When researching it helped me with the final piece because it gave me a
range of ideas and the type of layout I could do for the final piece. But
when researching the weaknesses of it was that there was limited time
and that I should have maybe done some research at home to help me
improve in my research and maybe have given me more of an idea and
help to improve my final product.
3. Planning
• When planning I had a rough idea of what to include for my final piece and
my planning was managed well, I planed to use some work pieces from
other artists ad I asked them in time to use them for the final piece. When
planning it helped me produce my product because it gave me a rough
understanding of what I needed to include and what I could add to help
maybe improve it.
• However the weaknesses of the planning was that I don't think I did
enough planning to help make it better, but I also did have a few issues
with some software's that I needed to use so it shortened the time before
the project had to be completed.
4. Time Management
• At the start of the project my timing to complete everything went really
well. I managed to complete each task until towards the end of the
project. This was were the issues with software's that I needed happened
and so I had to start doing it by hand which mean the tasks took longer to
do and so there was less time until the project had to be finished.
• Furthermore, if I had more time I would have tried to find ways to improve
and maybe done more for my planning, to help improve my final piece. I
didn't quite complete my project on time after all the issues I had but if I
had more time I think my project would have definitely improved
5. Technical Qualities
In both of the magazine covers they both use
bright basic colours to help make the text
stand out.

My final piece has a barcode on the cover
compared to the other one
My work has more images and less text unlike
the other cover that is mostly filled with text,
which is probably used to try and explain
everything within the magazine.
6. Aesthetic Qualities
Overall I think my work does look
good, I think that it was quite
creative. However I do think
there could be some
improvements made with the
double page, I think the page
could have some more colour
with a bit of a better design and
not too crammed with text.
I think I could improve my work
by adding a few more touches
and being a bit more creative
with the double page.
I think the strengths within my work was the
outcome after all the issues I faced to create
it I think it came out well as a whole.
However the weakness of my project are
that maybe I could have changed the font of
some of the text on the cover to help make
it stand out more.
7. Audience Appeal
I think my work
appeals to my target
audience because it
shows a range of art
from different
artists.
Also its more aimed
at teenager to adult
who are interested
in art. So I've tried to
aim art that is aimed
for my target
audience, which I
think my work does.
I also think my magazine is
suitable for both genders,
because I've tried to use a
variety of colours so it doesn't
try and singe the other ender
out.
